Sally, Rusty, Sam and Dani
The last few days had been a great time for the group. Sally & Rusty had gotten back on track, after a few weeks of troubles. Sam had been able to forget all the losses in his life recently. And Dani, although occupied with thought's about the Demon Bear, the upcoming battle & her family, she was still able to relax a bit.
Now, they had finally arrived in Tulsa. Now all Dani had to do was find where these "Charmed Ones" were. She decided the phone ahead. She pressed in the number Talisman had given her & waited for it to answer.
"Hello?" Dani asked when it picked up.
Phoebe
Phoebe picked up the phone.
"Myello, Phoebe Halliwell here, revered goddess. How may I help you?"
She giggled.
Dani, Sally and Rusty
"Hi. My name is Danielle. I'm a friend of Elizabeth Twoyoungmen, she said she would contact you about me." Dani said nervously.
Meanwhile, in the back, Rusty was showing of his greater control by making a really small fire on his finger tip & lighting a piece of paper on fire. Sally just smiled, impressed by how much improvement he had made. When they got back to the Institute, they would only have a few more weeks there & then they could go back into the real world.
Phoebe
Phoebe smiled.
"Ah, yep. She did contact us. How can I help you?"
Dani and Rusty
Dani looked back at the piece of paper Rusty just burnt.
"Well for starters, could you tell me if I go left or right at Moore Parade? My friend just burnt the map!" she said, reaching around the hit Rusty over the head.
Phoebe
"Take a left. Then our street will be the first on your right. Am I to expect we'll see you in a few, then?" Phoebe asked.
Dani
"Yeah sorry. We'll be staying at a hotel. It's just, they have come to help. Is that cool if they come over? Do you have any secret business they can't see?" Dani asked, following Phoebe's directions as she talked.
Phoebe
"Yeah go for gold."
Phoebe paused.
"Who the hell is 'they'?"
Sally and Dani
"Oh yeah sorry. It's me, & my friends Sally, Rusty & Sam" she said as she pulled up to the house. Sally looked up at it.
"Wow. What a nice place!" she said, jumping out the car.
"We're actually outside now" Dani said with a laugh, "See ya soon!"
Halliwells
Phoebe smiled and hung up. Paige and Piper came downstairs and joined her.
"Who's here?" Piper asked.
"Dani."
"Ohh."
They opened the door and went out to greet everyone.
Sally, Sam and Dani
The group of teensgot out the car to see the three women walk out the door. Sam's eyes went straight to Phoebe.
"Wow!" he said to himself "Shes beautiful!"
Sally looked over & laughed, saying "Make sure you don't trip on your open mouth!"
Dani led the group up the stairs to meet the three women. Dani put out her hand to Piper.
"Hello. I'm Dani. Pleased to meet you. These are my friend's Sam, Sally & Rusty."
Halliwells
Piper shook Dani's hand.
"Hey Dani, I'm Piper, that's Phoebe and Paige."
Phoebe waved and Paige gave a little smile. "Hey," they chorused.
"So how can we help you?" Phoebe asked.
Dani, Rusty and Sam
"Well..." Dani said, reaching into her jeans pockets to pull out a piece a folded paper. She smiled nervously as she unfolded it. Sally & Rusty just giggled while Sam tried to not look at Phoebe. He didn't want to look eager even though it was obvious he was.
Dani finally unfolded the piece of paper & took in a deep breath before she started reading what Elizabeth had told her she would need.
"Elizabeth asked could I please got you to enchant six arrow's with this spell." Dani handed Piper the piece of paper for her to look at.
Halliwells
"Ooh, power of three time!" Paige said eagerly.
Phoebe shot her a look. "Yeah. How exciting. Because we don't do that enough."
"Oh hush you two," Piper said. She looked at the paper. "It should be ok. Come inside."
Phoebe, Paige and Piper led the others inside.
Sally, Sam and Dani
The group followed the women into the house. Once in the door Sally looked around amazed.
"Wow! This place is so nice! You own it?" she asked.
"Come on!" Sam interupted, not giving anyone else a chance to answer, "As if a place like this could be rented!"
"Guys, could we please keep on the current topic. We have a demon bear to stop!" Dani said, starting to get impatient.
Halliwells
"We inherited it," Phoebe explained.
Piper looked at the spell again. "Well it doesn't look too difficult."
"Demon Bear? I don't like the sound of that," Paige commented.
Dani and Sally
"Yeah." Dani said, sticking close to Piper, "It sure isn't my best friend at the moment"
The group walked into the kitchen. Sally's jaw dropped when she saw all the different ingredient's & item's on the table.
"Geez Louise!" she said aloud, "You use all this stuff?"
Piper and Phoebe
Phoebe laughed. "Yeah, well Piper's the potions master. I'm martial arts girl and Paige is our doctor."
"So what will we need?" Piper asked, grabbing the pot from the cupboard and put it on the table.
Dani
Dani shrugged.
"I dunno. What ever it say's on the piece of paper." she said. She had no clue what most of the words on the paper meant. "I think Elizabeth wanted you to do some spell on the arrow's. She said, when I come to battle it, I have to aim one at each part of it's body. Both arm's, both leg's, head & chest."
Halliwells
Piper nodded and went about mixing the potion.
"Toad me," she said to Paige.
Paige picked up the bag of toad stones and threw it to her.
Piper grabbed one out and put it into the mix, causing a small explosion. She grabbed a ladle and stirred it through, then poured it into a beaker. She grabbed the arrows and dipped the points into the potion.
"The Power Of Three?" Phoebe asked.
Piper nodded and they all looked at the spell on the paper and read it out. The arrows glittered for a second.
Rusty, Sam and Dani
The teens watched in awe as they went to work.
"They don't even need to think about what they are doing!" Rusty whispered to Sally. "It's like, instinct or something!"
"This is so cool!" Sam said, mainly watching Phoebe.
Once the spell had been done, Dani walked over to the three women.
"Is it done?" she asked, not sure if she was asking a stupid question.
Halliwells
Piper nodded. "Should be. I don't recommend picking them up right now. They're still magickal."
Paige grinned. "Yay, my turn." She held up her hand. "Bag!" The bag orbed to her.
"I'll have to..." Piper started.
"Yep," Paige replied. "Arrows!" The arrows orbed over and were about to appear in her hand when she moved her hand down and Piper froze the arrows midair. Paige lifted the bag and slid it over the arrows and handed the bag to Dani.
"There, you can probably touch them in a few minutes."
Dani, Sam and Sally
"Okay cool." Dani said, taking the arrows & placing them in her bag. "Well, I have to say, that went quicker than I thought. How can I say thank you?"
"Dinner!" Sam blurted out suddenly.
"Dinner?" Sally asked.
"Yes, dinner. We'll take you to dinner!" Sam said, trying not to look over excited.
Halliwells
"Hey, don't worry about it, it's what we do," Paige said.
"You're passing up a free dinner?" Phoebe teased.
"Well... no. Ok, dinner," Paige grinned.
Dani and Sam
"Yes!!" Sam hissed excitably then calmed down a bit when he realised how silly he looked.
"Okay. Meet back here at five?" Dani asked. The three youths nodded & looked at the women for a reply.
Halliwells
"Sounds like a plan," Piper nodded.
Phoebe grinned. "Ohhh I can wear my new dress."
"Is that what you're calling that dishcloth these days?" Paige teased.
"Shhh you. Ok, see you at five."
Sam, Sally and Rusty
The group walked out the door & to the car, after thanking the Charmed One's again. They got in the car & made their way to the hotel they were staying at.
"Dishcloth!" Sam said excitably to Rusty, "Man! She was so cool! I wonder how old she is?"
"Ask tonight." Sally said with a smile, "Just make sure you don't make a fool of yourself!"
Dani just watched the road ahead as she drove. She knew the battle would be soon.
