30 July 2003 - Touchdown

Xi-an and Johan

Xi'an wiggled the keys in the door & turned the key. The door unlocked & then she pushed it open.

"Home Sweet Home!" she chimed, and walked into her adopted parent's house. Johan followed in after her.

"Nice place!" he said, closing the door behind him, "Where are your parent's?"

"They have gone to Hong Kong on a business trip. So it's just you & me bud!" Xi'an replied, looking back with a mischievious grin.

Xi'an led Johan upstair's to the spare room to put down his bag's & then she went to her room. She opened the door to have her mind flooded with memories. The time she lost her first tooth. When her fish died. When she was told about being adopted. Playing "Doctor's & Nurse's" with Brad & Jessica from next door. Her first kiss. Her being accepted into Xavier's.

She took in a deep breath & walked into her room, placing her bag's next to her bed. Her room was still how it used to be. Nothing moved. Nothing new. Everything as it was & everything as it should be.

Johan walked into the room through the wall.

"Hey babe. Are we going to go meet him today?" Johan asked, walking to stand next to her.

"Nah. Tommorrow. Tonight, we party!" Xi'an said with enthusiasm. Johan smiled back at her & they both started to get ready for their night out.

Hour's later, Xi'an & Johan were walking through a dark alley in the Inner-City region of Sydney.

"Um...where are we going?" Johan asked nervously, looking around at the surrounding & people walking by.

"One of the biggest underground Rave's in Australia. Touchdown!" Xi'an replied, stopping & bending down to talk to the homeless man sitting near a door. She whispered something to him, gave him an Australian $20 note & then turned back to Johan.

"Time to Par-tay!" she said into his face & then turned to walk through the now open door. Johan followed, nodding at the "homeless" man.

Once inside, Johan saw one of the largest room he'd ever seen, filled wall to wall. He breathed in & said to himself "I know I'm going to regret this in the morning!" & then ran after Xi'an.
