28 July 2003 - Proving a point.

Rosemary

Rosemary was bored. So she and Luka, with Drusilla's permission, borrowed Dru's plane to fly to Australia and meet Friday. They had coerced Sabre into hacking into the YIRAAS database and finding her father's address. After they landed the plane, they went to the Blacks' house, and knocked on the door.

Jennifer Black

Jennifer Black opened the door cautiously after seeing some strange looking folk outside the door.

"Yes?" she asked curiously.

Luka

"Yes, I'm a friend of Day's, and this is my boyfriend, may we come in?" Luka grinned evilly as the woman invited them in, msuddenly remembering that Sabre had made them promise not to kill the girl or her family, because the girl was written about in prophesy.

Sabre and Mordred

"Thanks, Mordred," Sabre said as Mordred 'ported him to Australia and Dru's Childer. He didn't trust them on their own, somehow. Well, they were demons. Mordred nodded, waved, and disappeared. Sabre bounded up to the front door. He knocked on the door, hoping the two of them hadn't eaten anyone yet.

Luke and Rosemary

Luka smelled Sabre outside and opened the door for him.

"Papa!" Rosie squealed, throwing her arms around him. "You came too!" But Luka scowled. He didn't like being the Beta male, but Sabre was alpha in their family unit. ANd it irked him the way Rosie cared for him so much.

"Don't worry, we're not gonna eat anybody. So,": he said, looking back at Jennifer, "Is Friday in?"

Friday

Jennifer frowned. Strange friends Friday had made here.

"Friday!" she called.

But then, she was a teenager...

Friday showed up at the top of the stairs and looked down at her stepmother and the three strangers.

"What?" she demanded.

"Your friends are here."

"Friends?" Friday repeated. "What friends? I left all my friends in New South Wales. I've never seen these people in my life. So who the heck are you?"

Rosemary

Rosemary grinned. "Hello Thirteen, I'm RosieRed," she told the young girl.

Friday

Friday stared at her.

"Oh," she drawled. "The vampire wannabe. I suppose you've come to kill us all and turn me into your minion. I'd tell you to drop dead, but you seem to think you've already done that."

Friday rolled her eyes and thumped down the stairs.

Sabre

"Rosie Red my lovely gel, please do behave," Sabre chided gently as he disentangled himself, patting her head. "Humans, well aliens, pay no never mind, it's all the same." He grinned at Luka. "I do hope you two are behaving yourselves."

Rosemary and Luka

Rosemary grinned, and then vamped out, ridges coming across her forehead and her eyes turning yellow. Then she reached over and slid a sharp nail down Luka's cheek, exposinga trail of blood, which she quickly licked up. Luka then followed her lead and did the same. The she turned her head to face Friday.

"Believe me now?" she asked, a teasing tone in her voice.

Friday

Jennifer yelped in surprise. And Friday jumped at Jennifer's yelp.

"Please," Friday said calmly. "Kat can change her appearence, and she's an alien. And as for the blood stuff, well, hey, they do all sorts of weird stuff in cults."

Gee, maybe she shouldn't have started at journal at all. Look at all the weirdos it was attracting. Wasn't her life strange enough as it was without inviting in freaks like these guys?

"And I suppose you think you're a vampire as well," Friday said to Sabre.

Rosemary

Rosemary looked at Sabre in exasperation. "Papa, please tell her the truth. Besites, Friday, I've already explained to you. I'm a vampire, turned by Drusilla. Sabre is a cat."

Friday

Friday looked Sabre up and down.

"And he looks just like one too," she replied blandly.

Sabre

Sabre laughed, yellow eyes gleaming. "And it's a foine thing when yer word is doubted. A person forced to see against their will remains at heart a doubter still. You see this, and think I am no cat? You see only what I wish you to see, little girl." He turned abruptly and flicked his tongue over needlesharp fangs. "Oh, for the days of Egypt. When Gods walked among men, and men believed." He cocked his head. "Ye know, ye have mice in your house. I can hear them in the walls."

Friday

"That's nice," Friday replied. "But credit where credit's due. I'm not doubting you have powers - we all have powers here - I simply don't believe in vampires. Or magic. Why should I? Other than a few outragous claims, I haven't seen any proof. People fraud this kind of stuff all the time."

She shook her head.

"Now, would you lot do me a favour and rack off? Because I'm really not in the mood to deal with stalkers. Considering I never gave you my name - let alone where I live, that is the only thing I'm convinced that you are."

Luka

Luka growled slightly, flicking his tongue against his fangs. "And I can smell their fear. They want to believe, but they're terrified to, because if they do, it means that they're admitting that we have the power to hurt them, though you've made us promise not to," he said to Sabre. Then he became very frustrated. "I'm going hunting, to let off some steam, you two try and talk some sense into them, please," the New York vampire said, walking out the front door.

Sabre

"The Internet is a most marvellous invention." Sabre turned again to look at Friday. "I'm a most accomplished hacker, to be sure. Not bad for a cat. Rosemary, didn't you tell them you were coming? Fer shame, darling girl. Luka!" He growled at the male vampire who he could sense becoming restless. "I did tell ye no feeding. What would you consider proof then, child of the most mundane age of this earth? If I told you of my life you would merely laugh, for a life that is thousands upon thousands of years in span be outside your comprehension. I would suggest you open your eyes. There is a whole nother side to this world you have not yet experienced."

Friday

"Open my eyes?" Friday repeated. "Let me make something clear to you, mouse-breath. A couple of month ago I started randomly turning into a guy. When I finally figure out how to control it, I find out that I'm some sort of alien human hybrid and I get shipped off here to live with a father I never even freaking met because my mother decided I wasn't good enough for her anymore. Since being here I have one half sister who can shape shift, another who can create vaccuums. My half-brother has X-ray vision. My father can manaipluate plants of all things, and my mother is a telepath. Don't you freaking tell me to open my eyes. I'll be surprised if I can ever close them again!"

She glowered at Sabre and continued.

"And I mean it. Call me antisocial, but I don't like surprise visitors. Ever. Now, unless you'd like to spend the rest of your lives as the opposite sex, I suggest you beat it, the lot of you."

"Damn inconsiderate computer hacking stalkers. Darn well think they know everything! And it's quite obvious that they don't know a stupid blasted thing because if they did they wouldn't be bothering me in the first place."

Sabre

"Been there, done that, worn that dress," Sabre quipped before turning to Rosemary, eyes flaring with anger. "Now, Rosie love. When you asked me to find out her address, you did assure me that she would be expecting ye. I be most upset, lovely." He turned back to Friday and swept her an irnoic bow. "A thousand apologies, sweet lady. Vampires are not creatures reknowned for courtesey. I would suggest, however, that ye find a witch and get her to perform a deinvitation spell. While you know of aliens and mutants and suchlike, ye have not enough experience of demons and other magickal beings such as myself." He turned to Mrs Black, and caught up her hand, kissing the back of it. "Thank ye kindly for the hospitality of yer house, ma'am. If ye ever have need of a hacker, fighter, thief, bard or translator, please do not hesitate to make it known. I would be most inclined to help ye."

Rosemary and Luka

Rosie sighed. "I just wanted to warn them about August 6th!" she told Sabre. "This girl is a child of prophesy, you know that, we can't have anything bad happening to her or Mummy will tan my hide!" She sulked and sat down in the corner with Luka, and laid her head on his lap.

Sabre

Sabre smacked his forehead with the heel of his hand and muttered a curse in Gaelic. "I'd forgotten that! Thank ye, Rosemary love. I'll make it up to ye when we go back to New York. But ye should have told them ye were coming, lovely." He turned to Mrs Black. "I'm assuming as aliens ye do know what is coming. On August the sixth in this year of the Christian calender, nuclear war will break out. This has been verified not only by magickal Seers, but also by mutants and aliens who have the Gift of Foreknowledge. Apparently, your daughter is mentioned. As one such mentioned individual, it is most important that she survives."

Rosemary

Rosemary sighed. "Papa, I did tell her I was coming, it's not my fault she hasn't checked her email yet." Suddenly, Rosemarry sniffed the air and vamped out.

"Do you smell it, Papa? It's very familiar." she asked. She stalked over to a supposedly empty corner and solidly stomped her foot down. The now dead cobra suddle became uncloaked. Rosie picked it up by the tail.

"Glorificus has been here," she growled.

Sabre

"Oh Jaysus Mary and Joseph," Sabre sighed, before rubbing at his eyes. "Now, if that doesn't take the bleeding cake. Chrii-iiiissst. Glory, that meddlesome hellbitch. Congratulations, lass, you just managed to gain the attention of a hellgod. And all those things you don't believe in? They're coming around to bite you on the arse."

Friday

"Rosie, I delete all e-mail from you," Friday informed her sweetly. "I always block mail that comes from weird people on the internet. Never know what crap they send you. And if it weren't such a laugh IMing with you, I'd block you there too."

An amused look crossed her face.

"Child of prophecy? And I suppose next I'm going to be called 'the One' and told I'm going to save the world. Hey, maybe I'll even save it single handedly from this so-called nuclear war you're predicting. Yeah, maybe that's it. And when I'm done I'm gonna send this 'hellgod' of yours to the moon where she'll be forced to watch the Brady Bunch of all enternity."

"Friday, honey," Jennifer began.

"Don't call me that," Friday snarled.

"There are bombs coming. They've been predicting them for a few months now."

"So I've heard," Friday rolled her eyes. "Y'know what? I'll conceed that some people can have premonitions and stuff, but the only prophecy I believe in is self-fulfilling ones. The ones that come true only because you believe they will. One thing I do believe in. The power of faith. Now, would you people quit harrassing me? I have better things to do with my life."

A smirk crossed her face.

"But of course, you already knew that, did you?" Friday jeered.

Luka

Luka was pissed off. She was insulting his sire. He grabbed Friday by the collar and lifted her above the ground.

"Now you listen to me, you little brat," he hissed, "the only reason you're not dead right now is because there are prophesies telling us that you and your very rare power will be very necesary in the future. You will show respect to Rosemary and Sabre, and you will not mouth off to them. Rosie may have promised not to hurt you, but I only gave my word that I wouldn't kill you, and there are thousands of ways of causing pain without causing death. Now, you will sit down and carry on a respectable conversation, or you will live to regret it," Luka said, fully in vamp mode. "Do we have an understanding?" he asked, his fangs less than an inch from her face.

Friday

Friday stared Luka right into his eyes, ignoring Jennifer's exclamation. She glowered at him.

"Drop dead."

And on that, she turned Luka into a girl.

Luka

"It's too late, I've already been dead," Luka replied, in a much higher voice, but still holding Friday with vampiric strength. "Now, are you going to cooperate?" she asked, slapping Friday across the f ace for her impertinence.

Friday

"Why should I cooperate with a bunch of vampire-wannabe stalkers?" Friday replied coldly. "I have enough problems as it is."

She took a moment to take a breath of air.

"Now, unless you plan on choking me, I suggest you put me the hell down!"

Luka

"We came here to talk, you little brat. And unless you cooperate, I will feel the need to torture you until you do. I promised I wouldn't kill you, I never promised not to make you bleed or make you cry. I've learned exactly how much blood I can take from a girl your size before she starts to get too weak to fight." With that, he slowly sunk his fangs into Friday's neck.

Friday

Friday yelped in pain.

"This has gone far enough!" Jennifer exclaimed, furious. "You tell your friend to release Friday at once!"

"Go.. put on... a bra..." Friday gasped out. "It's... cold... out."

Luka and Rosemary

Rosemary grabbed Jennifer, "Go get the rest of your family, and bring them into the sitting room. We came here to talk, and we will talk. Don't worry about Friday, Luka's just trying to teach her some manners, in case you hadn't noticed, she's being a brat.

Luka took a few swallows of Friday's blood, and then came up. "Are you going to cooperate, now?" she asked, menacingly.

Friday

"I will not be bullied," Jennifer replied.

She held open the front door.

"Get out of our house."

"You... heard... the lady..." Friday put in, gasping for breath. "Rack... off... bastard."

Feeling weaker, Friday still managed to lift her hand towards Rosemary slightly, and do a sex change on her too. She could feel her strength depleting, but she didn't care. They deserved everything they got.

Rosemary and Luka

Rosemary sighed, in a much deeper voice. "Look, we just want to talk. We need to make sure that you're all going to be safe on AUgust 6th. WE need to ensure your family's survival. And believe it or not, I actually care about Friday, I anjoy talking to her online, and I think she's a nice person. Also, Glorificus has been here. Either she's planning to abduct someone in your family, or maybe szhe already has and you don't know it, but there's something in your family that she wants, and she is not somebody to mess with. So please, call your family together, we came to have civilized conversation, but it's plain to see that aliens aren't taught manners growing up," Rosemary said. Luka put Friday down, actually, she dropped her on the sofa, but same difference. Rosemary looked at Sabre.

"Please, Papa, help me here. These people need some sense knocked into them, badly."

Friday

"Bitch!" Friday screamed hoarsly at Luka. "Ooooh, if only this power let me change you into a neutered male, I sure as hell would."

"My daughter, Kat, is missing," Jennifer said quietly. "I... I won't call a family meeting. Civilised people don't do what you did to Day, and I won't give you the chance to do it to anyone else. But if you can help us find Kat..."

"They probably took her themselves," Friday accused them, voice still rough as she rubbed her neck. "All part of their plot to ruin what's left of my life."

"Friday," Jennifer cut in. "I would ask you to be quiet. Now, as I was saying. We have already made arrangements for August 6th. I appreciate your concern, but it's not neccesary. Now, about Kat?"

Vampires, Willow and Summers

"Ma'am," Rosemary began. "We are very civilized. We are following laws and regulations that have existed for millenia. When a child talks back to her elder, she is physically punished. I'm sorry if you can't see us as civilized, but we are a lot more noble than you have been, and we are not weighed down with filthy little souls. Now bring your family together, and we will call for the rest of ours, and then we can have a civilized chat," Rosem, ary ordered. Then she picked up her cell phone and dialed Drusilla.

"Mummy, we need reinforcements, they are not listening to us! Plus, we have discoverd that the Beast is involved." Dru yelped through the phone and quickly gathered a few people. Before long there was a pop in the Black's living room and Willow appeared with Drusilla, Spike, Scott, Jean, Nyx, Dawn and Logan. Willow looked around.

"Why'd you flash the Bat signal?" Willow asked. She looked at Rosemary and Luka, and sighed, then she waved her hand and chanted a few words, returning them to their original forms.

"You must be Friday Black," Willow said, smiling. "I'm Willow Rosenberg, and I appologise for the vampires' lack of tact" She said, smiling sympathetically and holding out her hand to Friday.

Friday

Friday stared at Willow.

"No one's ever been able to undo what I did before..." she stated.

She pursed her lips.

"Why are you doing this to me?" She shouted at Rosemary. "You read my stupid journal and then you feel the need to stalk, attack and intrude on my life? What the hell did I ever do to you? Just leave me the hell alone!"

Friday whirled on her heel and stormed out of the room, using her atom manipulation to get through the walls to the outside. Then she ran, tears streaming from her eyes. She wished she never put that journal online. The only good thing to come from that was her closer friendship with Julie.

Someone she felt was the only friend in the world right now.

Willow

"Well, that didn't go well," Willow said quietly. Then she asserted herself with the stately appearance that only a goddess can have. "Rosemary, Luka, go outside, now. And no hunting, or you'll live to regret," Willow said, waving her hand and making the door open. Sulking, they acquiesced, and went outside.

"Now," Willow began. "I'm sorry that Rosemary and Luka barged in on you uninvited, and I'm sorry we just teleported in like this. I'll do an de-invitation speel for them, if you'd like, so they an't come back inside," she offered Jennifer.

Troy and Jennifer Black

"I have to say, I'm not all that happy with the idea of those two coming back," Jennifer replied.

"Jen? What's going on?" Troy asked, trotting down the stairs. "Who are all these people?"

"I'm not entirely sure. Something to do with Friday - but she's run off now," Jennifer sighed. "But apparently they know what's happened to Kat."

Troy looked at them.

"Is this true?"

Sabre

"Glory probably has 'er, poor lass," Sabr said briefly before going outside. "'Scuse me just a sec." He looked at Rosemary and Luka and folded his arms. "Well. That was perfectly disgraceful behaviour from both of you. You're meant to be Childer, not minions."

Troy and Jennifer Black

"Who is this Glory?" Troy asked.

"I think one of the others called her... a hellgod?" Jennifer said skeptically.

Willow, Rosie and Luka

Rosie looked down. "I'm sorry Papa. I was just so frustrated. We're going to go for a walk and blow off some steam, if we may," she asked Sabre. Luka just looked at his boots.

----

"Why don't we all go into the living room and sit down," Willow suggested. "Then we can have proper introductions and we can talk about your daughters, and about the present, past and future, all of which I think are important. And I don't think I can appologise enough for Luka and Rosemary. I'll do the de-invitation as son as we're done here," she promised.

Sabre

Sabre nodded briefly. "No feeding. If you're really hungry, be discrete." His hands shot out and lifted both of them by the neck. He squeezed down slowly. "Don't embarrass me or Dru like that again, you hear me?" He growled. He dropped Rosemary, then turned his attention to Luka. "You, I am really angry with. When we get home..." He dropped the male vampire and turned on his heel going back into the house. "Sorry bout that. There are no words for what's gonna happen to them when I get them home." Sabre shook his head, black hair falling back into place. "My most sincere and humblest apologies."

"She's meant to be dead, dammit," Sabre growled. "Ah. Where to begin? Once upon a time, there was a hell dimension. And in that dimension, there were three gods. Eventually, the other two kicked Glory out into this world. She was bound to the body of a human baby boy....to limit her power, ye see?" He took a breath. "She *hurt* the earth. It would scream underneath her feet as she walked it. She searched for her Key, the thing that would unlock the dimensions and send her home where she could wreak her vengeance. Finally, the Key was in the hands of a group of monks. Before Glory found them, which she did, and she killed them, they made the Key human. And gave it to the Slayer as a sister. Glorificus, eventually, found it. She was fought, and defeated but the Slayer gave herself to close the gate the God had opened. She turned back into Ben, the human man she inhabited. He...died." Sabre decided not to enlighten them as to whose hands. "Somehow, Glory made it back onto this plane. She's out for power, and she's looking to gain control of everything." Sabre finished and stared at his hands.

Friday

"I see... so what does she want with Kat?" Troy asked, somewhat concerned.

Meanwhile, Friday had taken off her bra under her clothes and changed herself into a boy. She generally wore unisex clothes these days that would fit both her female and male bodies. He made it to a local park and climbed up a tree, where he sat quite comfortably in the branches.

"No one will find me here," he thought contendedly.

Sabre

"Power. She's kidnapped a few of the students too. Witches, mutants, aliens, demons, anyone she thinks could help her get what she wants. Some are there voluntarily, and some, like your daughter, aren't." Sabre rubbed his hand through his hair. "I know some of the adker witches working fer her, and I know that the Brotherhood of Mutants is allied with her. A few vampire clans, not Aurelius though. We're still not sure of the why. She didn't take the Key, though she's done that once before. That says to me that her plans have changed."

Troy Black

"So, what do we do about it?" Troy asked. "I imagine you want to get your own people back, of course, but still..."

Sabre

"Better leave it to the magickally inclined," Sabre said slowly. "Glory is a vicious god. She ain't called the hellbitch for nothing. I think YIRAAS is sending in its own operatives. But other then that, watch Friday. She's in a prophecy. We've learnt t' take 'em seriously, over on the flipside of the real world." He grinned. "They tend to come and bite you on the arse if ya don't."

Willow, Scott, Dawn and Dru

Willow looked around. "Sabre, maybe we should introduce ourselves. I'm WIllow Rosenberg, I used to be a witch, but I got a lot of power, and now I'm a goddess." Scott spoke up.

"My name is Scott Summers, and this is my wife Jean. We're both teachers at Xavier's School for the Gifted, for mutants. This is my cousin Dawn." Dawn smiled.

"I'm the Key everyone's been talking about. And Glory's taken me twice now. The first time,. her plans wer simple: go home. The last time she took me she didn't have any plans, and she just locked me up in a room for a few days and basically ignored me." Dawn snickered. "Glory was never the brightest god in the heavens." Then Drusilla spoke up.

"I must appologise again for my children. They are just infants, and have not yet learned the rules of proper decorum. Give them a hundred years or so, then they will shape up." Dru put her head on Spike's shoulder.

Nyx, Logan and Sabre

"Nyx, that one's sister." Nyx grinned, one arm around Logan's waist.

"Wolverine, or Logan," Logan spoke up.

"Spike, also known as William the Bloody. Unofrtunately related to those two young idiots." Spike rolled his eyes in disgust. "Sabre, why didn't you stop them?"

"I wouldn't fret yeself none, Spike." Sabre's face was grim. "They'll be paying for it when we get home. Especially Luka."

Troy and Jennifer Black

"I'm Troy and this is my wife, Jennifer," Troy replied. "But why do I have the feeling you already knew that. We want Kat back as soon as possible, and if you think you can find her, please, by all means, do. But don't expect us to just sit around and wait. There's nothing worse than the feeling of being useless."

Jennifer nodded in agreement.

"She is our daughter after all. And that reminds me. Those two who were here before (and now in trouble it seems), what did they mean, exactly about Day being a child of prophecy? I know a predictionist, but..." she trailed off uncertainly.

Nyx, Logan and Sabre

"Sitting around feeling useless. It's something I don't cope with well, isn't that right, Sabby sweetie?" Nyx smiled evilly at her brother.

"Ye didn't let her have any coffee, did ye?" Sabre asked Logan worriedly.

"As far as I know, Nyx is caffeine free," Logan answered. Nyx's grin got more demented.

"That's what *you* think. Hehehe!" Nyx giggled.

"Don't scare the nice aliens, kitten." Logan rolled his eyes. "Anyway. Child of prohphecy. It means she's probably gonna save the world or some such. Or possibly become evil."

"Whatever happens, we'll probably stay on top of it. Honestly, you have no idea how close the earth comes to being covered by apocalypse every day. You get used to it." Nyx rubbed her head along Logan's arm.

Dru

Dru swayeed. "She's going to save the world! Her power, so sweet." She sang, then she fell back into Sabre's arms.

Troy and Jennifer Black

"Save the world? Oh don't tell her that, we have enough problems with her as it is," Jennifer giggled. "Bad enough the bitterness without adding arrogance as well."

"If she would even choose to believe it," Troy pointed out.

Sabre, Nyx and Logan

Sabre caught her easily. "Dru love, don't scare the nice people. They aren't used to the insane, the magickal or the prophecy bit."

"Prophecies are a pain."

"Yes, yes they are Nissie me girl."

"Don't call me Nissie."

"Then don't call me Sabby."

"Would the two of you stop it?" Logan growled. They looked at him with surprise and innocent expressions.

"Why ever for? It's fun."

"Indeed t'is."

Dru

"The sweet little Day is a skeptic, eh?" Dru asked. "She will learn in time. It is critical to believe in what you cannot see, or else it will sneek up on you and eat your eyeballs," Dru said, sagely.

Sabre and Nyx

"And you would help her in that, Drusilla sweetie?" Nyx said with a grin. "We can work with disbelief. It amkes things harder if we find something out that she has to do, but we can probably work around it."

"Gawd, children are a pain in the arse," Sabre sighed.

"Got that right. Now aren't you glad we can't have any?"

"Goddess, yes."

Dru

"I make all my children. I get to choose who they should be. Although, sometimes, I think my Rosemary doesn't make the best choices of who to turn. Luka is so infantile!" she cursed him out. He annoyed her so.

Sabre

"You could always dust him, lovely," Sabre suggested in bored tones. "I was just going to make use of the basement, but it is your right as head of the family to dust him. He needs a right swift kick in the seat of his pants. Rosemary coddles him too much. Maybe they both need a lesson in what it is to be vampires?"

Dru

"I won't dust him, but I shall take away his ring. he is young enough to get himself killed. And he probably will, within a week. I shall take away the sun from him," she decided. "He is rash and impulsive. Much like Spike was at his age, " Spike glared at her, then looked remorseful.

"But Spike respected my wishes, and Luka does not. He has to respect fo4r the Sire-Childe bond." she hissed. "He will pay."

Sabre, Logan and Nyx

"Yes, now that you've managed to freak out everyone in the room who doesn't understand vampire relationships..." Logan said.

"Eh, they don't have to deal with the drycleaning. Blood is so expensive to get out of my clothes," Sabre said.

"I always find a spell takes care of that for me, but you don't do magick, do you Sabby?" Nyx said. Sabre rolled his eyes.

"Nay, I do not."

Jean

Jean cleared her throat. "So, back on topic," she looked at the Blacks. "What arrangements HAVE you made for August 6th?"

Troy and Jennifer Black

"We're going to the space station," Troy informed them. "It was a toss up between that and the undergorund shelter they're preparing in Australia, but we figured the station was probably the safer option."

"Normally I'd say it's none of your business," Jennifer said pointedly, "seeing as we don't even know you. But let's face it, there were really only two options, and most are choosing the station."

Sabre, Nyx and Logan

"I'll see ye up there then," Sabre said. "They need hackers, and I'm one of the best there is. So, I'm going into space."

"Mountain for us, isn't that right, sexy?" Nyx ran her head up Logan's arm. "Me and my sibs are hollowing out a moutain as a base. It's progressing steadily. We're going to keep it open for stragglers as long as we can. It's big. Really, really big. We've started to furnish now."

"It's a type of Noah's ark as well," Logan offered quietly.

"Oh yeah, that too. I'm getting Astrid to help me round 'em up."

Jean and Scott

Jean stretched. "We're going underground. The teleportation amplifiers aren't safe for pregnant women, so it's into the caves we go." Scott wrapped his arm around Jean.

"Besides," Scott said. "It's somebody else's turn. We've been in space, on a space station before. Chasing after Magneto."
