Ewan
Ewan made his way into P3, carefully holding onto a sheath of photographs in a manila envelope. He'd developed them and was now as per his agreement, bringing them in to show Faith. He spotted her at the bar and headed over. "Hey, angel," he said with a grin. "Got th' photos for you to have a gander at."
Faith
Faith looked up and smiled.
"Oh hello again."
She served a customer and then dried her hands.
"How do they look?"
Ewan
"Guid, I think." Ewan placed the envelope down on the counter and slide it across to her. "If ye see any ye like th' look of, I ken copy them."
Faith
Faith flicked through the photos and cringed.
"Wow, I'm really not photogenic."
She flicked through some more and then stopped on a couple kissing.
They looked familiar.
Oh no.
"Where'd you get this one?" she asked, hoping to sound casual.
Ewan
Ewan looked over. "I don't know, thought you looked alright. Oh, those? Snapped them a couple of days ago. Hmm. That's Taylor Hanson, I know, the girl I don't. The side of my work that pays for me to eat, ye knae?"
Faith
Faith nodded and wondered if she would be able to steal them, then figured he'd have the negatives anyway. And Mouse and Tay were both missing, which meant she couldn't warn them.
And if this guy was following the Hansons, it meant she was going to have to be a lot more careful with Zac.
And by herself.
If he saw her with Zac, chances are, he might follow her and realise she wasn't exactly a normal person.
"I see... well, any of these are good, I think."
Ewan
"Thanks. Ye wouldn't have happened to have seen them come in together or noothing would ye? The mags always like it if there's a bit of story with their pics. And bartenders I foind always knae everyone." Ewan took the photos back off her and smiled hopefully.
Faith
Faith shrugged.
"Nope, I haven't seen them together apart from in the photos."
She poured a drink and then turned back to Ewan.
"I'm sorry, can I get you anything?"
Ewan
"Och, weel, worth a shot to see if ye did." Ewan shrugged philosophically. "Shot of Jack with a beer chaser, thanks."
Faith
Faith lifted a glass from the cupboard and spun it in her hands before flipping the bottle upside down and pouring the drink. She turned and pulled a beer from the fridge and popped the cap off and placed it in front of him.
"That'll be $10."
Ewan
"You're good at that," Ewan told her as he forked over the money. Damn, he better sell those new photos soon. "Anyway. I'm leaving Tulsa soon anyway. Heard there were some good shots to be had up New York way."
Faith
"Thanks. I'm a woman of many talents," Faith joked as she winked across the bar at a customer, tossing them their change.
"New York? I was up there a few months ago."
Ewan
"Usually enough of the rich and famous that I can snap a few shots, get paid enough to eat. Hey, it's not what I want but a mon's got to eat." Ewan drank down his whiskey then sat to nurse the beer.
Faith
Faith nodded and tucked some stray hairs back into her bun. She glanced at her watch.
"Oh yeah, going home soon. My feet are killing me."
Ewan
Ewan decided she knew more then she was telling about the girl in the photos with Taylor. He knew it. There had been something slightly off when she said she didn't know who they were...he considered what he should do. "I'm sure that a bonny lassie like yeself has a man at home to rub yer poor, tired feet. Or I'd be glad to volounteer, angel." He grinned at her. Maybe he'd just...follow her home. It wasn't like he was adverse to judicious stalking.
Faith and Piper
"Unfortunately no, no man at home," Faith lied, smiling cheerily. She decided if he was following the Hanson's, she should probably cover up her relationship with Zac.
Piper came over to the bar.
"Hey Faith, you might as well knock off. It's not that busy, and Madison can help me finish up."
Faith nodded and gave her a salute. "Thanks P." She turned to Ewan. "Well, I'm off," she said, taking off her apron. She stuffed it under the bar and grabbed her coat from there. "I guess I'll see you around? Have a good time in New York."
Faith waved and jumped over the bar, and headed out the door.
Ewan
Ewan finished his drink, waited a beat, then followed her. He decided not to take his bike. It would be safe for now. He looked around for Faith, then started to ghost along behind her, keeping to the shadows and bringing the hood of his jumper up to cover his red hair.
Faith
Faith sighed as she pulled her jacket tighter around her body. She groaned as she spotted trouble up ahead, and sped up to find a vampire attacking a young girl.
"Yo, ugly. It's not nice to play with your food."
Faith roundhouse kicked the vampire to the ground. She fought with it for a bit, then staked it quickly.
Ewan
Ewan blinked. Then got out his camera. Oh, the wonders that were technology. There was enough light out that he wouldn't have to use his flash and alert her. He waited in the shadows by the side of a building and waited for her to move on. There had been something off about her. He hadn't quite expected it to be this though. What had happened to that man? What *was* that man?
Faith
Faith shook her head tiredly as she heard movement behind her.
"I'm tired, and annoyed. Show yourself."
Faith ducked swiftly as the second vampire jumped over her head. She stuck her leg out and tripped it over, then hit it with a powerful left hook. She jumped up and grabbed the tree branch above her head and swung her legs out around it's neck and twisted. She jumped off the tree then staked it and brushed herself off and started to head home again.
Ewan
Ewan bit down on his lip for a moment, then decided to follow her. From further back then before. He kept his step as light as possible and crept along in the shadows of the buildings. What the hell was she?
Faith
Faith yawned and then grinned sleepily as she climbed the steps of her house. She pulled her keys out and unlocked the door, then stepped in and locked the door behind her. She had a feeling she had been followed, so she looked out of her window.
Seeing no one, she decided she was being paranoid and went upstairs to get changed and go to bed.
Ewan
Ewan chewed his bottom lip, then started back to the club. He hoped those photos showed he wasn't mad. He really, really did. He took note of the address, and began to walk back to his bike.
