Mouse
Blakesley strode down the corridor, feeling much better for a good night's sleep. He checked in on Mouse and removed the bar gag from her slack mouth. She mumbled something, but stayed asleep. He smiled slightly, and then walked off again.
"Good morning, did you sleep well?" He asked Taylor cheerfully.
Taylor
Taylor clenched his teeth to stop himself making a snide remark.
"I guess one of us did," he said bluntly, shaking some hair out of his eyes.
He could tell that Mouse was still asleep.
Blakesley
Blakesley felt the weight of the bar gag in his pocket, and thought how good it would be to shut the kid up. Maybe later. It was amazing how not being able to talk frightened people. "I know that I did. Would you like breafast this morning?"
Taylor
Taylor raised an eyebrow as he tilted his head a little.
"That depends if it's an offer or a tease. Or a way to drug me. And don't I wouldn't have thought of that, it's happened before."
He shivered a little at the memory.
Blakesley
"How intersting. I would like to hear about it. But I usually find orally ingested drugs to be unreliable. Intravenous are so much easier to document." Blakesley looked around distractedly. "I'll need to get a cleaner in to clean that up..." he mumured distractedly about Natalia's blood on the floor. "But if you answer a few questions, you will get fed."
Taylor
"Really..." Taylor drawled, squinting a little at him.
He rotated his right shoulder, his back being stiff from the night in the hard chair.
"And what, pray tell, kind of questions will these be?"
Mouse
"Nothing too threatening. More like...medical then anything else." Blakesley pressed a buzzer near the door and quietly requested more personnel. Soon, Allan appeared, carrying a clipboard.
"Sir?"
"Take notes, Thurtell. What is your date of birth?" Blakesley asked Taylor.
Meanewhile, Mouse woke up. A gaurd was watching her.
"I'm gonn unstrap a hand, and move the bed so you can sit up. Then you can feed yourself." Mouse nodded slowly. The gaurd did as he had said he would, and Mouse started to eat a nourishing breakfast.
Taylor
Taylor groaned and leant his head back.
"Fourteenth of March, 1983," he replied, wishing he could rub the sleep out of his eyes.
He smiled a little, knowing Mouse was safe and eating.
Blakesley
"Last medical check up? What date, and what problems, if any, did the doctor discover?" A flow of question and answer continued like this for a good ten minutes. Blakesley nodded in satisfaction. He turned to Allan. "Get him some breakfast, then find a security personal to watch him while you feed him.
"Yes, sir." Allan walked over to the door, swiped his card through the reader and passed through.
"So, you'll get fed this morning. And then while the gaurd is here, you'll be allowed to take a toilet break."
Taylor
Taylor almost snorted.
"Yeah well if I don't then you're gonna have a bit of a mess to clean up, aren't you?" he raised an eyebrow cockily.
"And just so it's clear, I don't care if I have to go without food for a while. I know how long I can last, I've been pushed."
His eyes wandered to the side wall, remembering his time with Craig, and how he'd been locked in the room for a few days.
Blakesley
Blakesley's lips tightened. "I think I've got all I need out of you for today." He walked over, removing the gag from his pocket. He squeezed Taylor's jaw until it opene, then shoved the bar in. He tightened the straps of the gag,. "Jane has a smaller head..." he mumured almost to himself.
Taylor
Taylor glared suddenly, pulling the restraints of both his wrists and ankles.
He knew his wrists were almost to the point of red raw again, but he didn't care. Eventually he might have some leverage. His ankles were another story. He couldn't see them, so he had no idea what was holding them.
He mumbled something incoherently.
Blakesley
Blakesley smirked. Allan appeared at the door again, carefully balancing a tray as a man in camouflage walked in behind him, looking bored. It was the same man that had whipped Natalia yesterday.
"I'm taking the gag out so you can eat, but any more remarks, and it will go back in," Blakesley warned Taylor before starting to remove the gag.
"Can you get another chair?" Allen asked the gaurd, He shrugged, and soon reappeared with another chair. "Thanks." Allan sat next to Taylor and got ready to feed him some breakfast.
Taylor
Taylor cleared his throat as the gag was removed, then gave a him looked that was a cross between a glare and 'I know something you don't know'.
"If you knew what my power was you'd never wanna gag me again," he couldn't help but chuckle slightly, for apparently no reason feeling as though he had a slight upper hand.
Blakesley
"But until then, I'll be quite glad to leave the gag in. Maybe it will teach you to hold your tongue." Blakesley turned to leave. Allan spared him a frightened glance, then turned back to Taylor.
"Oatmeal was what on the menu for breakfast this morning, I'm afraid," he told Taylor almost regretfully. The gaurd leaned against the wall, looking bored but carefully to the side of the pool of blood.
Taylor
"Food is food. Oatmeal's cool," Taylor shrugged, as Allan began to feed him.
He absently began to fiddle with some splinters at the end of the arms on the chair.
He glanced at the guard, wishing he was with Allan alone. Maybe he could find out what his position exactly was... He didn't look like he wanted to be involved at all.
Allan
Allan soon finished feeding Taylor, and looked over at the gaurd. "We'll need to move him. Take him to another room. There's no facilities in here."
"Yes, Doctor." The gaurd came forward and released Taylor's arms so that he could put them behind Taylor's back. Allan stopped him with a hiss.
"Thse wrists need to be treated. Go and get my kit." The gaurd hesitated, but Allan's glare soon sent him grumbling towards the door.
Taylor
Taylor shook his arms to get the blood circulating again, then stretched them.
"You seem to be a nice guy... Natalia likes you anyway," he began, raising an eyebrow as he began to rub his wrists, "so what's your story?... Allan?"
Allan
"I am here to treat the subjects and help them recover so more experiments can be used on them," Allan said carefully. "Natalia is not the only one who has passed through these walls. However, she is one of the very few to pass through mostly unscathed."
Taylor
"That I believe," Taylor raised his eyebrows.
He noticed the uncomfortable look Allan was giving him.
"Don't worry," he shook his head, "if I had telepathy or empathy or any other kind of mind-bending power I'd be out of here already."
He suddenly paused,t hinking about what kind of help Craig would actually be right about then.
Allan
"Jane is one of the more powerful individuals Danjermond and Blakesley have managed to contain over the years." Allan's eyes went wistful suddenly. "I myself have not been above ground since the beginning of this project over two years ago. You get used to it but I do miss sunshine." Allan shook himself out of it as the gaurd re entered. He took the medical kit with a mumured word of thanks and opened it, going through it swiftly. "This will sting a little," he warned Taylor before applying antiseptic to the reddened and slightly bleeding skin of Taylor's left wrist.
Taylor
Taylor winced, but calmed as Allan did his work.
"You're calling her powerful?" he raised his eyebrows, "apart from her link with the Gods she's only a beginner. Because she lived on the streets for so long she never really learnt how to control her power. She only works on instinct. The most powerful empath I know is probably my own mother, but she's sick at the moment so..."
He cut himself off.
"I'm going to shut it before I get too far into it. I don't know why you're even bothering to do this, it's not like it's not gonna happen again."
Mouse and Natalia
"Unfortunately," Allan agreed sadly as he finished Taylor's other wrist. He bound them both securely with bandages, the final layer abrasive rather then smooth. He stood to start putting away his kit and the gaurd came forward again. He wrenched Taylor's arms behind his back and clicked the handcuffs on securely before placing the bar gag back into Taylor's mouth. A few swipes with a knife he had and the ropes around Taylor's ankles fell to the floor. He jerked Taylor upright.
"No funny business," the gaurd growled. Allan slipped out the door like a wraith.
Mouse was taken to a toilet and flushing with embarrassment did what she needed to do as the gaurd made crude comments. They won't hurt me, I'm pregnant, they want the babies, remember that, she reminded herself of what the strange girl had said yesterday.
Natalia stood and followed one of the Masters down the corridor. They soon reached another room and Natalia let him attach her leash to a hoop on the wall. She stood there, waiting for further instructions.
The gaurd marched Taylor down a corridor and let him into a toilet cubicle. He clipped Taylor's hands so they were in front of him. "Here. Go." He turned to face the outside again and let the kid have some privacy.
Taylor
Taylor raised his eyebrows as he went about his business.
He knew he was purposely going for the cocky approach, rather than the submissive. He wasn't planning on coming out of this mentally disabled, not that he'd exactly planned it last time...
He finished and turned to the guard.
"Let's go."
Natalia
The gaurd clipped Taylor's hands together behind his back again and led him out into the corridor. They walked down the corridor and the gaurd swiped his card through a card reader before pushing Taylor in ahead of him.
Natalia raised her head for a moment before dropping her gaze again. She wondered wistfully whether she'd be allowed to talk to the biy again. The gaurd replaced Taylor's hand cuffs with leatherbands smiliair to Natalia's and used a D-clip to fasten them to two ringbolts in the wall. He knelt down, and glared up at Taylor. "Kick me, and you'll live to regret it." He put shackles around Taylor's feet that were fastened to bolt set into the floor. He then went over to Natalia. He unfastened her collar from the leash. "You're allowed to talk and to touch him."
"Thank you, Master." Natalia lifted his hand and kissed it.
"Yeah, yeah." The gaurd left but not before running an appreacitive hand along Natalia's body. She bounced over to Taylor, beaming happily.
"You're back!"
Taylor
Taylor refused to look at her again.
"Yeah," he replied awkwardly, glad the guard had taken the gag out again before he'd left.
He shifted his feet a little and gulped, leaning back into the wall.
Natalia
"Good. I saw your girlfriend last night, anyway, I think it was your girlfriend. Brown hair, brown eyes. We didn't get to talk though. She had a gag on." Natalia span around in a circle, rejoicing in her tempoary freedom of movement. "I'm glad you came. It's nice to have someone to talk to. The Masters don't talk to me, just order me around. Except for Allan but he's different. Not a real Master at all." She sounded faintly disapproving.
Taylor
Taylor felt his face going red again as he heard the way she spoke of them. Oh, how much he'd love to kick their asses - or get Ike to do it - on her behalf.
"I know she's ok, I can feel her," he said softly, hanging his head slightly.
He was feeling her morning sickness at the moment, but he wasn't going to admit that.
Mouse and Natalia
Mouse felt a faint sense of triumph as she trew up quite messily all over Blakesley. "Bite me," she told him weakly and he left in a towering rage. He got changed, then went to vent his frustration.
~*~*~*~
Natalia hit the deck as Blakesley stormed in. He lifted her up and slapped her across the face. She spun around into Taylor, mouth open with shock. The corner of her mouth had split, and the bandages on her back were becoming spotted with blood.
Taylor
Taylor hesitated in shock for a moment, then glared at Blakesley.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" he exclaimed, his hands balling into fists.
"Why the hell are you doing this to her?! What the $#!+ did she ever do to you?!"
Natalia
Natalia dropped to the floor again and crawled towards Blakesley's foot, whimpering for forgiveness for whever she had done wrong.
"New rule. She pays...for whatever the two of you do wrong. Jane crossed one of the boundaries." Blakesley's eyes gleamed with rage, and he turned and kicked Natalia in the side. She curled up for a moment, sobbing, then resumed her pain stricken crawl to his feet.
Taylor
Taylor shook his head.
"You unfeeling bastard. Se eu não tivesse minhas morais, eu curse sua família do caralho inteira!" he cursed, pulling on the cuffs around his wrists, his face red with anger.
Natalia
Blakesley bent down and lifted Natalia by a grip in her long, honey coloured hair. She stumbled after him as he dragged her to the wall. A few clicks of the clips on her shackles and she was spread eagled against the wall, face pressed against the smooth concrete.
"I'm sorryI'msorryI'msorry!" She babbled desperately. Blakesley turned back to Taylor, a dangerous gleam in his eye.
"I think I would like to more about what you can actually do, Jordan." He crossed to the side of the room and pressed down on the intercom button. He spoke into it and soon the same gaurd that had whipped Natalia the first time entered. Blakesley pressed a button and an entire wall shifted away to reveal a gleaming or dully shining array of torture implements.
Natalia recognising the sound, let out a frantic sob of terror. "Nonono! I'll be good! I'll be good! Pllllleeeeeaaaaasssseeee!"
"When you answer a question too slowly or not at all, Natalia will be punished for it." Blakesley sat down in a chair and nodded to the gaurd. He moved Natalia's hair out of the way, then ripped the bandages away in one smooth motion. "Let us begin."
Taylor
Taylor's eyes widened and his mouth hung open as his eyes fell on the instruments.
"Holy $#!+," he half murmured/half whispered.
He slid down the wall until the wrist restraints wouldn't let him go any further, shaking his head as he stared at them.
Natalia
"We'll start with an easy question. Who is your clone?" Blakesley asked in a bored tone. The gaurd ran the thongs of a whip through his fingers, nodding as he made sure they were running smoothly. Natalia uttered an emphatic whine of terror.
Taylor
"God," Taylor squeezed his eyes shut, then opened them, keeping his head hung.
"He's... you wouldn't know him," he gulped, "he... he lost his parents and was brought up by the most wanted guy in alien society. They, they kidnapped me and my sister in March, and that's how I first met him. But he doesn't have my power... something screwed up and he has my brother's power."
His eyes darted form the floor to Blakesley, hoping that answered the question.
Natalia
Blakesley nodded slightly to the gaurd. He brought the lash curling down on Natalia's back and the halfhealed scabs broke open. She yelped. "His name?" Blakesley inquired in bored tones.
Taylor
"Christian, dammit!" Taylor cursed, looking up suddenly.
"If you're going to hit her anyway then I have no reason to answer!"
Natalia
"Ah ah ah. Don't get lippy. Put her on the frame." Blakesley looked at the gaurd who nodded. He brought Natalia down off the wall, she nearly crumpling into his arms, and then half dragged half carried her to a wooden frame. It consisted of a stand, one side of shich was anchored to the wall it swung out from, and over head it had a device like an old fashioned stock. The gaurd locked Natalia's hands in it and she hung there, toes barely touching the floor.
"Pleasepleaseplease, I'll be good, I promise," she begged them.
Taylor
"Dammit."
Taylor finally his has face against his right arm, refusing to watch, and not even bothering to pretend.
"What the hell do you want from me?" he moaned.
Natalia
"I would suggest you sit up and pay attention, Jordan," Blakesley said silkily. "Next question. List the talents of your family and yourself, of course." The gaurd was looking over some of the instruments in the wall compartment. Natalia was sobbing quietly.
Taylor
"Oh man..." Taylor moaned, leaning his head back against the wall.
He gulped again.
"My parents... my mom's an empath, and my dad has x-ray vision. My brothers are telekinetic, a temperature manipulator, and a flyer. My sisters... a dream walker, a telepath and an astral projector. Powers are completely random, there's nothing hereditary about them," he offered.
Natalia
"Much like the X-gene," Blakesley commented to himself. "But you didn't tell me what your own power is, Jordan."
Natalia let out a high wavering cry of pain as the gaurd clamped two metal clips onto the soft skin of her stomach. Blood slowly trickled down from where the clips's teeth dug in at her skin.
Taylor
"Oh God," he hung his head, "I'm so sorry..."
The last statement was for Natalia.
He couldn't tell them he had Tongue. It was too rare, and knowing that they'd probably put up extra security or something and then he'd never find a way out of there.
Natalia
Blakesley nodded slowly. "Feel free to speak up any time." He nodded at the gaurd. Soon, two parallel lines of clips ran up Natalia's body, set edge to edge. There were about twenty clips to each row. She just hiccuped quietly when a new one was put on. When the gaurd put the two on her nipples, she found breath for a scream.
Taylor
"Oh GOD!" Taylor cried, hiding his face in his shoulder again, before looking up at Blakesley.
"Please, please get them off her. I don't care what the hell you do to me, just leave her alone," he pleaded, shaking his head.
Natalia
"But you see, that's the thing. Natalia is worthless for all experimental purposes now," Blakesley explained almost gently while Natalia whimpered with agony. "You, on the other hand, are a valuable acquisition I want to keep in one piece as long as possible. Continue." The gaurd started attaching the clips along the inside of her arms.
"Please, help, oh god," Natalia moaned. The gaurd backhanded her and she whimpered before dropping her head tiredly.
Taylor
Taylor cringed, feeling one of his headaches coming on.
His eyes widened, realizing he'd missed Tanya's last treatment.
"Oh no, no..." he shook his head, pulling on the wrist restraints as he stared straight ahead, trying to divert what he knew was coming.
But it was too late. He cried out in agony as the wave of pain hit him, and he fell down the wall, pulling on his restraints.
Mouse and Natalia
Mouse screamed in pain as Taylor's pain rebounded off her.
Blakesley arched an eyebrow. "Well, that was unexpected." He turned to the gaurd. "Lie him out on the floor." The gaurd lifted Taylor's body off the floor, leaving his ankles secured to the bolt in the floor, and with the aid of a length of chain, securing his wrists to another one. "Take her down as well." Blakesley left. Maybe Jane would know what had happend. The gaurd took out the clips and let Natalia down. He left after closing the wall up again.
Natalia looked down at Taylor. "I hate you." She staggered over to the corner and laid down, curling into the fetal position crying to herself.
Blakesley slammed into Mouse's cell. "What is wrong with jordan?" He demanded of her. Mouse looked at him and laughed wildly.
"He's sick. He missed his last treatment."
"How do I fix it?"
"You can't. You're not a telepath." Mouse yelped with pain. "I can't either."
Taylor
Tayor awoke to find himself on the floor. He cringed when he realized what had happened, and that half the amount of pain was still there.
He put his head in his hands and moaned. Why did this have to happen now?
He spotted Natalia in the corner, and looked away again quickly.
"Where... people. Doctor, gone Mouse?"
He fumed when he realized it was happening agian.
Mouse and Natalia
Natalia uncurled a little, and glared at him. "They *hurt* me because of you! I'm a good girl! I want to be a good girl! You're a bad, bad, bad boy, and I *hate* you!"
~*~*~*~
Blakesley growled in frustration as Mouse continued to taunt him. He couldn't touch her, and she knew it. "He's in pain. I want him to get better."
"Then let him go."
Taylor
"Soh... was sorry. Can't, help. Help, help Jane. Need Jane. Need... Tanya need."
Taylor whacked himself on the head. He knew it wouldn't help, but it made him feel better anyway.
Natalia and Mouse
Natalia scowled at him before settling in around herself with a little huff. Her golden hair spilled across the floor, streaked with her own blood. "I hate you. I thought you were nice. It was only words!" She wailed suddenly. "Words are nothing!"
~*~*~*~
"I might be able to help," Mouse told Blakesley.
Growling under his breath, he escorted Mouse down to the cell where Taylor was. She blanched at the pain coming from the cell, and then went quickly to Taylor's side.
"Tay, it's me. Are you alright?" She could see blood on the floor, but it didn't seem to be his...
Taylor
Taylor took his hands away from his face, looking up in shock.
"Jane? Jane?" he frowned a little.
Then he eyebrows raised and he pulled her down into a hug.
"God... Jane. Hurt, they. Nat... Can't, my power, tell," he shook his head, tears in his eyes.
MOuse and Natalia
"Shh, it'll be alright. It will." Mouse hugged him close, kissing his face. Blakesley coughed and she shot him a glare of absolute fury.
"I have already told Jordan-"
"His name is Taylor, connard!" Mouse hissed.
"Taylor, as you will. Natalia is hostage to both of your continued good behaviour. Natalia!" She stirred and then crept like a whipped dog to his feet. Mouse stared at the girl in horror.
"God! You sick, sick bastard!"
"Taylor has refused to answer our questions. Natalia paid the price." Blakesley didn't look down at Natalia, who was kneeling at his feet, shoulders shaking. "I suggest you talk some sense into him, or tell us yourself. I'm sure you know what his power is."
"Kiss my ass."
"Such a pity that Natalia will have to pay for your transgressions."
Taylor
Taylor looked up, panting rapidly.
He wasn't going to lose it... He wasn't going to lose it...
"Jane, Jane... you, out didn't? Why? Back," he shook his head, searching her eyes.
Mouse
"They caught me again," Mouse said in disgust. "And then I didn't want to go until I knew you were at least alright."
"Well, while this is sweet, can you help him?" Blakesley asked in impatience.
"I'm not a telepath, I'm an empath. Taylor needs a Ga'Revali master to help heal. It's like why you don't ask a GP to do brain surgery." Mouse glared at him with pure loathing.
Taylor
Taylor pulled Mouse down and planted a kiss on her lips, before he suddenly sprawled out on the floor, gasping for breath.
"Oh my God!" he cried covering his face again, "I can't believe that happened again. Why? I missed two days. Two freaking days!"
Mouse and Natalia
Mouse sat behind him and put his head in her lap before starting to massage his temples. It was a trick she'd picked up from Diana before the woman had fallen sick. Massage combined with soothing empathic waves. While it wouldn't heal, it would help. "Shh, amour. Nous sortirons de ceci. Et nous prenons cette pauvre fille avec nous. Je ne peux pas la laisser ici. Elle sera punie quand nous nous échappons. Je ne pourrais pas me pardonner pour cela." She spared Natalia a glance.
Natalia stared back, violet eyes hazy with pain.
Taylor
"Je sais, je sais," Taylor moaned, "que je trouverai une manière. Nous trouverons une manière. Vous devriez avoir vu ce qu'elles ont fait à elle, juste parce que je ne leur dirais pas ma puissance. Mais je ne peux pas leur dire. Elle est trop rare. Ils mettront vers le haut la sécurité supplémentaire et nous ne sortirons pas."
Mouse and Natalia
"Je sais..." Mouse frowned. Allan stepped in hurriedly and headed staright to Natalia's side.
"Please look after the more valauble subject first," Blakesley said silkily. Allan's eyes flared for a moment before he went to Taylor's side. Natalia shivered miserably, skin burning with pain.
Taylor
"What? What? I'm fine," Taylor's eyes darted between Allan and Blakesley.
"Just a check," Allan insisted, as he began to look Taylor over.
"I'm fine, really," Taylor pulled away with a frown, "Íå ÷òî ýòà ñâîëî÷ü áóäåò êîãäà ÿ ïîëó÷àþ ìîè ðóêè íà åì."
OOC: ("Not that this bastard will be when I get my hands on him" - in Russian)
Mouse and Natalia
"She's going to bleed to death, and you're looking Taylor over?" Mouse asked in disbelief.
"She is expendable." Blakesley shrugged. Natalia whimpered slightly.
Taylor
"Sick bastard," Taylor shook his head in disgust, as Allan finally left him alone and went over to Natalia.
He turned to Mouse again.
"Est-ce que, vous me dit est bien ? Comment vous avaient-ils traité ? J'ai été inquiété comme enfer."
Mouse and Natalia
Lips tight with anger, Allan bound up Natalia's wounds, which brought coos of relief to her lips. She nuzzled at his leg as he started in on her back.
"Je suis très bien. Ils ne m'ont pas touché du tout. Ils n'ont pas même essayé le jeu avec le chiot encore." Mouse glanced over at Natalia again. "Ce qui m'effraye plus au sujet d'elle est celui par la suite, nous pourrait lui aller bien. Je peux me sentir qu'il... toute qu'elle vit pour est à svp. Elle est plus d'humain d'animal puis maintenant. Excepté même un chien tournerait et mordrait. Elle est assez intelligente se rend compte si cela se produit, tous qu'elle obtiendra est plus de douleur. Ainsi elle agit à svp. Elle me terrifie."
Taylor
"Ne laissez pas son alarme vous," Taylor shook his head, face twisted in concern, "qu'elle est trop loin privée du monde extérieur. Nous l'obtiendrons hors d'ici. Je ne peux pas soutenir pour voir son de phase comme ceci, si vous pouvez même l'appeler une vie."
Mouse and Natalia
"Peut-être," Mouse said. "Nous devrons nous étendre bas pendant un moment avant que nous allions. Mais nous ne pouvons pas le laisser trop long." She eyed Blakesley suspiciously as he talked into the intercom quietly.
"As physical methods of persuasion have so far proved without results, let us progress to chemical methods." Blakesley moved to let in some more men. Two went over to Mouse and dragged her kicking and screaming from Taylor's side. Natalia shrunk back into a corner, whimpering softly.
Another man lifted Taylor's arm and slid a syringe into his vein. Blakesley waited for the drug to take effect. Growling and fighting, Mouse was taken out of the room.
"TAY!"
"What is your power?" Blakesley asked, more sure of getting answers now. Natalia watched with big frightened eyes.
Taylor
Taylor gulped, hearing Mouse scream. But he relaxed a little, knowing they'd begin to leave Natalia alone.
"Bite me, asshole," he glared, shaking slightly.
Natalia
Allan collected Natalia and went to go from the room.
"Where are you going?" Blakesley snapped out. "I might need her as further leverage."
"With all due respect sir, Natalia will not be healthy enough to take that kind of abuse again for a while. If you do not wish your leverage to up and die on you, I suggest you let me do my work."
"Fine. Take her." Allan left with Natalia. "I would suggest that you start to tell me all about yourself, Taylor. What is your power?"
Taylor
"I can stop bread falling onto carpet butter-side down," he smiled cockily, "no, really, I bet you're thrilled."
He tried to sit up slightly, but he didn't have that much room.
Blakesley
"If that was so, you would not have let Natalia take that much pain. I know your type. You're...honourable, and you would not let a helpless girl suffer all that pain for something that insignificant. Do please, try again." Blakesley tapped his fingers on the arm of the chair as he sat down.
Taylor
"Ok..." Taylor pretended to think, "how about this one?"
He gazed around the room for a moment.
"I can tell if a person's children are going to be disabled."
He squinted at Blakesley, pretending to concentrate.
"Yep, yours are. But who could get out sane with a sick bastard like you for a father?"
The look turned into a glare.
Mouse
Blakesley lifted his lip in a snarl, and then leant over and backhanded Taylor vicously. His head slammed into the floor, his lip split open. "Don't be petty. What is your power?"
~*~*~*~
Mouse snarled around the gag they had placed in her mouth and felt Taylor's pain. She was starting to imagaine all the ways the men could die.
Taylor
"Oh, did I step on your poor little bitty ego?" Taylor raised his eyebrows, smiling slightly as he felt Mouse's emotions.
"And who's being petty? Look in the freaking mirror, asshole. You don't own me, and you never will."
Blakesley
"You ar entirelly too insolent for you own good. Didn't your parents ever teach you any manners?" Blakesley bit out.
Taylor
"I think I can have some leverage in this case," Taylor glared again, "I only use manners on those who are worthy. You aren't worth $#!+ to me or anyone I love."
He ground his teeth for a second.
"Here's a new one. You know how when you do your laundry there's always one sock that goes missing? I make them disappear."
Blakesley
"Ha ha," Blakesley said dryly. "I hope Natalia appreciates your efforts at wit." He was calm and collected again, but seething inside. "I have always wondered what happened to my socks."
Taylor
Taylor grinned.
"Well now you know."
Then he hesitated, and shrugged.
"You know, all things being equal, you lose. I do not plan staying around that long, as you probably already know. I have a tour to do. Fans to perform for, and brothers to perform with. Oh but of course, you don't know that, do you? Because you don't know who the hell I am."
Blakesley
"And I find myself at a loss to realise why I should care." Blakesley stood. "Perhaps you will be more willing to be truthful tomorrow." He left, the gaurd following him. He left Taylor chained to the floor.
Taylor
Taylor growled to himself as he was left alone.
He glanced over at Natalia's blood over the floor, and cringed. He had to get all three of them out of there somehow.
