Kate and Mary-Kate
Kate looked over at Mary-Kate. Spending two days together had paid off. Mary-Kate had basically shed the "good girl" image she'd been carrying around for 17 years, and was finally embracing a life. About time too.
Corruption was fun... and Kate hadn't done such a bad job of it, either. Mary-Kate was completely stoned, her hair was twisted into dreads, her skirt was shortened and her shirt was ripped in all the right places. It was like having a doll.
Kate handed Mary-Kate the joint as they cruised through the mall, getting disgusted looks. They went into a toy store and decided to mess all the toys up, running round and falling into the displays on purpose.
Once they'd finished causing trouble in the toy store, they headed for the food place to make much of the same trouble. Kate ran at full speed into an old lady who was carrying a tray full of food and knocked it from her hands, then ran away giggling. Mary-Kate picked up some utensils from a tray and threw a spoon into the spokes on the wheels of a pram. The pram went flying forward and the baby fell out onto the ground.
"Nice one," Kate remarked.
"I learnt from the best."
"Flattery will get you everywhere," Kate said out loud, then grabbed Mary-Kate's hand and ran. As they rounded a corner, Kate pulled out some more pot and rolled them a joint each. She lit them up and handed one to Mary-Kate. "So I was thinking about trying another club tonight. P3 was a bit stale."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah, we need somewhere dark, and mutant and alien friendly."
"I heard they're opening a new club soon."
"Yeah, called what?"
"The Bronze... apparently it's a club from Sunnydale, and they've moved coz well... Sunnydale is just a crater now."
Kate smiled appreciately. "Man, I would love enough power to blow something into a crater. In time, I guess."
"Hey what happened to Faith last night?"
Kate snorted. "I just released some thoughts into her mind... she'll be fine. Plus, she'll be more fun this way."
Mary-Kate shrugged. "I'll take your word on that. So what now?"
Kate finished her joint and flicked it at a woman passing by. It singed her and she turned to the two girls. "Are you out of your mind?!"
"Yep, stoned off my face. I'm so stoned that even you're looking appealing." Kate smiled lazily.
"Do I have to call security?"
"Do you?" Mary-Kate chimed in, reaching over and holding Kate's hand.
Kate grinned. "Wanna play with her head?"
"Sure."
Kate leaned over and kissed Mary-Kate, who didn't flinch, but rather wrapped her arms around Kate's neck. The lady made some sort of disgusted snort, so they broke apart and Kate got in her face.
"Did you make some sort of noise, lady?"
"I'm calling security."
"Don't you EVER make that noise at me again, or Maz, otherwise I will hurt you in ways you can't even imagine."
The woman backed away and Kate giggled, took Mary-Kate's hand and ran off.
