The Eye and Miette

It had taken him slightly longer than he expected, by The Eye found Miette. She was coming out of a class, and talking to another girl. He watched her for a moment, a sly smile on his face. What he had in store for Miette would crush them!

It wasn't something he was in the habit of doing. It was tricky, and besides, another telepath at his or a higher level could undo what he did with nowhere near the effort it would take to do it in the first place. Nonetheless, in this case he felt he could make an exception. The trouble he could cause, if even only for a short period, would be enough to satisfy him.

He followed the girls. He reached out his mind and entered Miette's. He implanted suggestions, blocked and distorted memories. In the process he came across some rather interesting pieces of information.

Including the power of the girl she was with. Felisha.

Well, he might turn her too. His plans for Miette may be more effective if she had something to help fuel them. And, of course, Felisha would be fueled by Miette, and so an ongoing circle.

When he was done with Felisha, he organised a return to his hotel room, too exhausted to hang around any longer. He would check up on them when he was fresher.

Miette looked around thoughtfully.

"You know..." she said. "See that guy over there? Matt? He ticks me off."

A sly smirk crossed her lips.

"I wonder how he would feel about having hot shoes..." and on that, Miette shot a couple of lasers at his feet, melting the bottom of his shoes, and thus hurting his feet.

Matt yelped. Miette giggled.

Felisha

Lisha laughed. "You know what? Let's go to the mall." They hopped on a bus and headed to the mall. At a dress shop, Lisha found a dress that she wanted very badly, but it was so expensive.

"Mi, this dress is to DIE for," she said. Then she got an idea. She laid her hand on top of the shopkeeper's.

"You're going to give me this dress," she said. He removed the alarm sensors and gave her the dress. She looked at MIette and giggled.

"Want anything?"

Miette

Miette looked around.

"Oooh, I like that dress. Talk about stunning!"

She picked it up off the rack and grinned at Felisha.

"Of course, I'd like it better, if it were black."

She exercised her powers and removed the colours from the dress.

"Much better."

Felisha

Lisha looked at the shopkeeper and touched his hand again briefly. "You want to give her that dress, don't you?" she asked him, and he nodded, and pulled off the alarm sensor.

"Here ye go, miss," the shopkeeper said, handing Miette the bag with her dress in it.

Miette

Miette giggled.

"This is so much fun! I wonder why we never did it sooner? Hey, let's go to the movies and watch some mass destruction!"

Felisha

"Oooooh," Lisha said, "Good idea! Oh! Let's go see Hulk!" she said, laughing.

Miette

"Fun!" Miette grinned.

They made their way to the cinema.

"Ugh, look at the cue," Miette said, turning up her nose. "I'm sorry, but this just won't do."

She held out her hand.

"Holographic tickets," she giggled. "Of course, they won't be much good when the ticket checker person tries to rip them, but hey."

Felisha

Li giggled. "That's okay, I'll just tap his fingers and tell him he already ripped them," she said, laughing, "Let's go."

Miette

"Great. Now, let me see... popcorn and drink..." Miette said with a malicious grin.

This was the most fun she had had in ages.

Felisha

"I have an idea," Li said. "We order what we want, and then you set holographic money on the counter, and then we skedaddle before the cashier realizes it's fake," Li said, snickering.

Miette

"Great!"

The girls ordered their food, and Miette put holographic money on the counter and 'pushed' it across. Then they hurried off because the cashier had a chance to realised. And when he did, he couldn't spot them in the crowd of people.

Then they scammed the ticket checker, and got nice and comfy in the cinema.

Felisha

Li grumbled when somebody tall sat right in front of her. So she leaned over and put her hand on the back of the lady's neck.

"Go away!" she hissed, and the lady did. Quickly. Finally, the movie started.

Miette

Miette enjoyed Hulk and did a great deal of cheering when the Hulk beat people up. Of course when he was feelign sorry for himsef she also made sneering noises. The people around them didn't like them very much, but she didn't care.

Felisha

Li cheered when they blew up Bruce. Then she turned to her friend. "Now what should we do?"

Miette

"Hmm... I dunno," Miette replied. "Time is getting on now. Why don't we go home and sleep on it? We can do more mischief tomorrow."

Felisha

"Yeah, I am getting a bit tired. But before be go to bed, want a cupcake?" she said, snickering. She took two out of her back, and munched on one while she handed Mi the other.

Miette

"No thanks," Miette replied. "Last time I had one of those I puked my guts out, and I only had the one freaking bite."

Miette handed the cupcake back.

"See ya!"

And she started off home.

Felisha

Li said goodbye and headed home.
