The Eye
The Eye was not one for simply lying about, waiting for things to come to him. No, he went looking. After all, what use is an eye that doesn't see?
Ashley was training. Training well. But this wasn't enough for The Eye. It would be time before she was ready to take down her first alien successfully. And The Eye wanted to satisfaction now.
He also wanted to get the upper hand on Leroy again. Leroy. Ha! It was a game between them. The collar had been the closest he had ever gotten to bringing him in. That collar... The Eye suddered. Leroy would pay for that insult.
The Eye considered. Leroy was awfully fond of that space station of his. It was, at this very moment, being built. The foundations should be finished within the week, enough for them to start teleporting up more help. Light maniuplators and Technokinetics were keeping the station shielded from the humans.
Perhaps there was something in that. Maybe the deaths of a lot of aliens involved in one of Leroy's projects would be enough to break him.
"Light manipulators... hmm... then again... maybe there's another way..." The Eye considered, remembering something vaguely.
He checked his files. They were probably a little out of date at the moment, but they should have enough... yes... there it was. Miette Braddock. Leroy's niece and Isaac's girlfriend. Well, well, if he could get to her, two birds with one stone.
But how? Simply killing her wouldn't be enough. He had to make a statement. He had to tell the world that this is what happens when you mess with The Eye. This is what you get.
The ultimate revenge.
The Eye stood and paced. Killign had been ruled out, and perhaps an injury should as well. Not bold enough. Not enough of a statement. And besides, she could be healed. No, he needed something stronger. Something...
Something that they couldn't easily dismiss.
Something that would cut them where it hurts.
"So... not physical but... emotional? Emotional scars last the longest."
It wasn't his usual style, but he felt it would be the best way. Usually he went straight for the mind.
The mind!
A smirk crossed his face as an idea crossed his mind. If he could do it... oh the fun he would have!
He booked a flight to London and started packing his bags.
