Faith and Piper
Faith sat at the bar, swirling her straw as she sat, bored out of her mind. Some guy who's name she couldn't actually remember had been trying to chat her up for the last half an hour and so far there had been no chance of an escape. Well not politely. Faith bit her lip, trying to keep from screaming until she had a thought. When was she polite?
"Hi, yeah, you're kinda... well really dull. So I'm gonna find someone else to talk to. Bye!" Faith got up and left, leaving the guy sitting speechless. She danced into a group of about four guys and started to dance in the middle with them. She danced with them for a few songs before making her way over to Piper, who was behind the bar again.
"Hey you, where's Zac tonight?" Piper expertly twirled the bottle in her hands and poured her a shot.
"I'm not sure... I haven't spoken to him today."
"Awww." Piper grinned at Faith.
"Yeah, boo hoo for me." Faith rolled her eyes and took the shot. She shook her head. "Busy tonight?"
"Yeah... and not enough wait staff."
"Chrissy and Mad?"
"Maddy's in the kitchen at the moment and Chris couldn't make it. Wanna give me a hand?"
"Yeah, sure." Faith jumped over the bar and started to serve drinks while still talking to Piper and dancing.
"No patrolling tonight?"
"Nope, Xander gave me a night off. Things have been slow of late, anyway... that'll be ten dollars. Thanks." Faith winked and handed the drinks over the counter.
"You know, you can work here whenever you want."
"Sure, free labour."
"I'll pay you, doofus."
Faith bent down and retrieved more glasses. "So, job offer?"
"Yeah, you gonna take me up on it?"
"Sure. Sweet, thanks." Faith took the money from a customer and handed them some drinks. "Piper, go dance, girl! You've been behind here all night. I'll cover it."
Piper smiled at her and went out from behind the bar. "Thanks." She danced over to her sisters, twirling around happily.
Faith giggled and continued to serve drinks and chat to customers.
