Zac
Zac checked the address he had been given for the party Desiree had invited him to. Yep, this was the place. He got out of the car and headed inside.
He wondered again if this was such a good idea, considering the problems that had come of certain parties, not to mention his nervousness about contact with other people.
Well, it was too late now, and he looked around for Desiree.
Desiree
Although there weren't many people in the house, there were certainly many people in the backyard.
As Desiree danced with a few of her 'guy friends', she suddenly noticed Zac walking in.
"ZAC!" she yelled out, hoping he'd hear her over the loud music and people talking.
She began to fight her way toward him.
Zac
Zac thought he heard his name called (athough over the loud music, he eaier had really good hearing or it was his imagination. Then maybe the caller was just really loud), and saw some movement.
"Hey, Desiree," he said. "Loud party."
Desiree
"As always," she smiled, reaching out to shake his hand.
"There's free alcohol everywhere, real fuel out the back," she chuckled, as being her and her friends' way of distinguishing aliens from humans.
They kept all the kero out the back, away from the humans who normally preferred to stay inside. If they said that line to a human, they'd either disregard it or think they meant sluts.
"So come in, enjoy yourself. I don't really need to introduce you tot he host... she doesn't know half these people anyway."
Zac
Zac's eyes lit up.
"Kero?" he asked. "Cool! I thought this would just be..."
He trailed off for a moment.
"You into alcohol or real fuel?"
Desiree
"Keep your voice down, there's humans in the next room," Desiree hushed, grabbing his arm.
She began to lead him out the back to where a number of Dathrians and a few Semirellians were sitting around drinking kerosene.
"And it depends what you mean by real fuel," she smiled almost evilly, "but I'm a mutant. Hybrid? Full? What?"
Zac
"Ha! Like they can hear me over the stereo," Zac snickered, but her lowered his voice nonetheless.
He picked up a glass of kero and grinned at Desiree.
"I'm a full Dathrian," he told her. "So, a mutant huh? What's your thing? I'm a temperature manipulator."
Desiree
"Nice," she grinned, looking him up and down as she let his arm go, "I have invisibility, and I'm a little telekinetic. But not much."
She looked around as most of the aliens she knew were getting drunk, or past it.
"They normally start using their powers when they're too drunk, so we keep a few sober telepaths in case a human comes out. It would be easier not to invite them, but you know... you can't invite someone without someone else, blah blah blah."
Zac
"Mmm... yes..." Zac nodded. "Been there, done that."
He grinned in memory as he took a swig of his kero. He had a feeling he was gonna need it - all these people were beginning to make him nervous.
"It was so funny... This one time I was drunk I ended up - okay you know how alcohol warms you up? I totally dropped the temperature! Anyone who hadn't drinking started getting cold and complaining, but no matter how far they turned up the heaters they just couldn't get warm."
Desiree
"That would be funny," she hit his arm softly, "as long as I wasn't one of the ones freezing their ass off."
She started to dance a little again.
"Want to come inside and dance with humans for while?" she grinned deviously, "maybe play with them a bit?"
Zac
Zac tried not to flinch when she hit his arm. "Get a grip, Hanson," he told himself.
"Sure. Always fun to play."
He finished off the last of his kero in one fell swoop and followed Desiree inside.
Desiree
Desiree pulled Zac into the middle of all the dancers and began to dance with him.
Feeling playful, she glanced over at an ex-boyfriend who she knew was human, dancing with one of her friends. Sneakily, she used her telekinesis to undo his fly.
Giggling, she turned her attention back to Zac.
Zac
"You are not going to freak out," Zac told himself.
As long as he didn't touch anyone (which was going to be hard) he'll be fine. He would. Really.
"Think he's going to get a chill?" Zac asked cheekily, having seen what she had done.
Desiree
"Maybe with a bit of help from a temperature manipulator..." she whispered, tapping his Adam's apple with her index finger.
"I wonder where I could find one?"
Zac
"Don't freak out, don't freak out," Zac thought.
Zac attempted to hide his discomfort with a grin and lowered the temperature in the area of the boy's crutch - whoever he was.
Desiree
Desiree laughed as her ex started jumping around madly and playing with his crutch. He friend looked him over disgustedly and left the room.
"Well that's a relief. He doesn't deserve her," she murmured, then went back to dancing with Zac.
"So ah... I still don't really know much about you. You've kinda, just shown up like a knight in shining armour, so to speak," she giggled.
Zac
Zac was beginning to freak out.
"Yep, that's me. Sir Zac of Round Table," he grinned.
More kero, that's what he needed, Kero. And lots of it.
"I'm gonna get a drink."
Desiree
"Ok... 'Sir Zac'," Desiree giggled.
She let him go, waited a moment, then began to follow. He was certainly someone she wouldn't mind bedding... He was so muscular! Must work out alot.
Zac
Zac was almost tempted to leave, but that would seem rude... wouldn't it? He sighed. He should have known better than to come to a party with all these people when he was having this problem.
He downed a second drink and started on a third.
There were lots of cute girls at this party... Desiree for one... He knew he and Faith were dating but it was okay if he looked, right?
Desiree
Desiree followed him outside, and watched him continue to drink. She didn't think it'd be long until he'd be completely out of it, then maybe...
"Control yourself," she whispered to herself.
"Who ya talkin' to?" a rather lanky girl came over to her.
"Myself," Desiree turned to the host, who was compeltely off her face.
"Reeeeeeally? And who's the hot guy, spunk wit'cha?"
"His name's Zac."
"Zac? Zac. I know a Zac. I know that Zac."
"Sure..." Desiree trailed off, taking her chance to walk away when her friend stumbled in to someone.
She smiled at Zac and made her way over to him again.
Zac
"Hey you're back," Zac said. "No, your front... and a nice front it is too."
"Settle down Zac," he told himself.
"I'd offer ya some kero, but it would probably kill ya," Zac went on. "That's the problem with kids nowadays. Can't hold their kero."
Desiree
"Depends on the species," Desiree whispered.
She smiled to herself, knowing he was tipsy. If he kept drinking like this, he'd soon be gone.
"But I'll be fine. There's plenty of kero here," she offered him another glass.
Zac
Zac knew he should stop drinking. But he didn't want to. The idea of touching someone, or being touched by someone wasn't freaking him out so much any more.
"Thank you," he said, taking the glass from Desiree.
An appropriate name. Desiree was definitely desireable.
"You stopped doing that Zac, remember? You got Julie pregnant and now you're dating Faith, and you're not going to cheat on her!" but the voice seemed to fade as Zac started on this glass of kero.
Desiree
Desiree bit her bottom lip playfully as he finished the glass.
She took it from him, put it on a nearby table, and offered him another.
"Are you having fun so far?" she smiled up at him.
Zac
"Absolutely," Zac said, obviously drunk.
He gulped down another glass.
"You know... you're a real sexy thing Dezzy."
Desiree
Desiree grinned.
"You're not so bad yourself, Sir Zac..." she whispered the last few words.
She took hold of his collar, stood on her toes, and kissed him slowly. Smack dang on the lips.
Zac
Zac kissed her back, all warning bells merely a dull ringing in the back of him mind, and easy to dismiss. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close.
"Mmm..." he said when he pulled away. "Want to take this somewhere a little more... private?"
Desiree
"Certainly," Desiree insisted, tracing his jawline with her index finger.
Then she took him by the shoulder, led him upstairs, and then into one of the spare bedrooms.
Once in, she closed the door, then put her arms around Zac's neck and kissed him again.
Zac
Zac lowered Desiree onto the bed, still kissing her all the while. The he pulled off his shirt and started on hers.
"It's getting a wittle cold in 'ere..." Zac slurred, lowering the temperature. "No drink. Haveta make do with body heat..."
Desiree
"I don't care," Desiree groaned a little between kissing him.
She quickly helped him remove her shirt then began on her pants. With a bit of a giggle, she used her telekinesis to unzip his fly and start to pull his pants down.
"I get the feeling you haven't done this in a while..."
Zac
"About a week," Zac replied between kisses, his hands running over her body. "Before that I was raped for a bit over a week by my psycho stalker who kept me sedated most of the time."
Had Zac been sober he would not have admitted any of this. Of course, had Zac been sober he wouldn't be in this position in the first place.
Desiree
"Hmm... I don't think you've lost anything. It's been a few weeks for me."
She pressed against him harder.
"Psycho stalker, huh?"
Zac
"Yesh," Zac answered. "Now, 'nuff talking..."
Despite the still small voice (and alarm bells) ringing in the back of his head, Zac proceeded to engage in very lustful and strenuous sex with Desiree.
Desiree
Afterward, Desiree rolled onto her back and sighed, pulling the sheets over her.
She wasn't so cold anymore, but it was just habit.
Then she turned to Zac, and looked him up and down.
"You're great, you know?" she said softly, touching his face.
Zac
"Dats what... all my loversh shay..." Zac replied before falling asleep.
Desiree
Desiree giggled as he fell asleep, and ran her fingers over his face.
She liked this one. She'd have to keep in contact with him.
Sighing, she slowly got out of bed and began to get dressed again. She could tell by the level of noise that alot of people had either left the party, or had passed out.
Pulling Zac's jacket over her small top, she made her way out of the room to find a drink.
