7 June 2003 - Julie and Friday

Julie

Julie smiled when she read Friday's latest journal entry. It had been she who told her about cables (and other such things) having male and female ends.

Julie, like a few others who had read Friday's journal's, knew they could only be true. However, unlike the others, Julie hadn't tried to tell her about aliens and mutants and the like. She knew Friday would act, well, much the way she had already been. Skeptical. And Julie didn't blame her. Sometime she had a hard time believeing her own predicament.

Julie and Friday had known each other a long time. But that was hardly surprising. One a technology junkie, the other an internet junkie. They got on like a house on fire.

Friday knew that Julie was pregnant (although she didn't know who to) and Julie realised from reading her journal that there was probably a few things she didn't know about Friday too. Still, Julie wished she knew a way to tell Friday what she knew about aliens without her getting all... clammed up. Friday was still vehmonant about her journal simply being a story. Proof was what she needed, but how do you send someone proof via cyberspace? Both girls were well aware of doctoring images and the like, and in fact, both girls could do it.

Julie sighed. She was going to find a way. She was sure of it.
