Isis
Isis considered the matter of Zac. She almost felt sorry for the guy - sedated practically all of the time because he may be able to escape through the use of his powers - and Zada would use every opportunity to take advantage of him.
It was so not fair. Taryn gets to have Taylor's baby. Zada's gets to have Zac as a sex slave and what does she have? Nothing! Ikey-sweetie even has a telepathic shield now.
Isis regretted using her power on him now. Ike wasn't dating that English snob any more and she could have moved in. But the deed was done, and he knew who she was and there was no way she'd get anything by him.
Maybe she should have Ike abducted too and then... nah. She would much rather that Ike was conscious when they had sex.
Nope, there had to be another option. Maybe Zac had the answer. Maybe he knew a way...
No wait... Zac WAS the answer... but to do what she wanted... she would have to betray her sisters.
Isis stared into the mirror.
"Ike... or Zada?" she asked. "Love or Loyalty?"
She chewed her lip and tapped her fingers. She stared at the pictures of Isaac she had wallpapering her room, and then at a picture of her and her sisters. She kept looking between them, trying to decide which was more important.
Zac
The trank was wearing off again when Isis entered the room.
"Hi Zac," she said softly.
"Who are you?" Zac asked.
"Someone who can help you get out of here..." Isis said, picking up the next needle.
"No! No! No don't! Not again!" Zac cried out.
"Shh!" Isis hissed. "Look... listen this is the deal -"
"I don't want you! Go away! I'm not sleepign with you again!"
"You never slept with me," Isis said in disgust. "That would be Zada. My name is Isis."
Zac was confused.
"No shape shifter?"
"No. I'm a telepath. I want to help you."
"Why?"
"Well, let's just say... I... a deal... I want to make a deal with you."
"What kind of deal?" Zac frowned.
Man if only the sedative would wear off, maybe then he could think properly.
"It's very simple. I'll help you escape and you get Ike to go out with me."
"Wha-at?"
"I get a date with Ike, or you continue playing the sex slave for Zada."
"I... I..."
Zac thought hard, eyeing the needle. He usually got the next sedative before he reached this stage and he had no plans on having another.
Surely... surely Isaac wouldn't mind? Surely his brother would not want him to go through this?
"You... won't hurt him will you?" Zac asked.
"No, never!" Isis replied. "Well, unless he wants me to..."
"Ike isn't a sadist," Zac paused. "Okay, I'll... I'll do my best."
"I swear if you betray me..."
"I promise! I'll get you your date. Now please... let me go... I wanna go home..."
Isis nodded.
"Okay," she agreed.
Isis started working on the restraints.
Isaac and Zac
Isis was nice enough to drive Zac back home - in his own van. When they arrived at his house, Isis gave him back the keys and told him she'd wait to find out about Isaac.
Zac was still a little woozy, but he had control of his powers back. At any rate, he ran up to the door and unlocked it.
"Hello?" he called. "Anyone home?"
Not waiting to see if there was answer, Zac walked up the stairs to Isaac's room.
"Ike? You in here?" he asked.
No, he wasn't, so Zac headed to the rec room. Isaac was on his guitar.
"Ike!" Zac cried.
"Zac? Zac!" Isaac exclaimed. "When did you? How? What happened?"
"Oh nothing much, just got abducted by this phycho stalker who kept me sedated for... I don't know how long and she..." Zac trailed off, not wanting to say it. "Anyway... someone named Isis helped me escape. But she wanted... she wanted..."
"What?"
"She wanted a date with you in return. I agreed. I'm sorry, but I had to get out of there! I couldn't... I couldn't go through all that again... and I figured it was just a date..."
"It's okay Zac," Isaac replied. "A little odd, but okay."
"She's out the front."
"Okay then."
Isaac started to follow Zac out, when Zac stumbled.
"You know, maybe you should wait here," Isaac said.
"Okay."
Isaac walked out the front and saw Isis waiting.
"You!" he gasped.
"Umm, hi Ike," she said.
Isaac stared at her.
"You helped Zac?"
"Yes, I did," Isis hurried on. "I'm sorry about... about what I did. Really I am. I... I wanted to make it up to you, but I didn't know how. And I didn't think you'd speak to me."
"Well, you're right. If it hadn't been for this, I probably wouldn't have," Isaac sighed. "Well, a deal is a deal. And I can speak for all us Hansons that we're grateful. But I swear, if I find out you had anything to do with Zac's abduction in the first place..."
"I swear I didn't!"
Silence.
"How about I pick you up this Saturday?"
"You pick me up?" Isaac questioned in surprise.
"I meant it when I said I wanted to make it up to you."
"I uhh... well, okay, that's fine. What time?"
"6?"
"Okay then... I'll see you Saturday."
"Okay!"
They parted ways, Isis practically skipping all the way home.
