The Eye
The Eye was in Perth, Australia. That was where the riddles had sent him.
He believe he had found, at last, the site of the bomb. The day before he had broken down a wall, but he had been forced to stay out of the cave because the air was stale.
But it should be fine now.
So the Eye made his way into the cavern, his torch on with fresh batteries. The air still wasn't the best.
He walked for a long time. So long he lost track of time. It felt like forever. At last he came to a large metal door with pictures engraved into it. He stared at it for a time and then refered to his notes.
"It should be... this one..." he pressed one of the pictures and sure enough, it was a button that opened the door. The Eye scampered inside before the door closed again.
Inside the room were walls filled with the same kind of text that had been on his thunder box. And in the middle of the room was a large sphere.
"The bomb..." The Eye whispered.
But as he moved closer to it, he sensed something was amiss. It took some referring to his notes but he came to the conclusion that the bomb was not activated.
Weird.
Still... The Eye gazed around the room. He had to get a translator down here.
He HAD to know what it said.
