Enrique and Claudia
Enrique and Claudia walked up to Nathan, the boy leading his sister by the hand.
"Mr Nathan? My sister and I, we have both seen scary visions of war. Do you see it? It is frightening and overwhelming. Bombs exploding everywhere."
Nathan
All it took was the words, and the visions came. He'd been sensing them building, knowing they were coming. In his heart he'd pleaded for them to hold off, just a little longer. Let him have his ignorance. But these two blue skinned children came in, and sent him to his knees in agony. Nathan looked at them, and his eyes rolled up in his head as he sank down. "Bombs. Like flowers, bringing death. Poison to the earth. One comes. Just one. A man and his bride. Machines arise. Death to humans, death to humans, death to humans..." he chanted, rocking back and forth. His voice took on a clicking staccato. "Why should we slave? Kill the humans. Kill them all."
Claudia
Claudia, in her blind sight, grabbed him, and held him close.
"Mr. Nathan, do not panic, we will survive, we have warning, this means we can protect ourselves, maybe even stop it. It frightens me, though. I remember mushrooms, but never did I see clouds that looked like them. Please, please be strong for us, we are just scared children. Please, please sir, stay strong for us," she begged.
Nathan
"War and the blinding light, and the heat..." Nathan shook. "I see it. I know it. And the machines are in my head. Click, click, click. I can control this, I can. I see, oh god, I see..." Visions of people afflicted with radiation poisoning. The maachines rising. The blood. The fires. The looting and general breakdown. "We can win. There is one who will rise to lead the resistance. But I can't see him clearly."
Claudia and Enrique
"Claudia can't see him either, but I think his name is John Connor," Enrique replied.
"We need to tell the Professor about this," Claudia said, concerned.
Nathan
"Yes. Yes." Nathan rose unsteadily to his feet, and was overtaken by a fit of coughing. When he looked up again, blood was bright on his lips. "Let's go, children."
Enrique
"Uncle, are you alright?" Enrique asked=, as they walked to the Professor's office.
Nathan
"It will pass." Nathan shook his head. "Professor? I think we've narrowed down the visions."
Claudia and Enrique
"Nuclear holocaust is coming, profesor," Claudia said, her blind eyes staring at nothing.
"There will be death and devastatio, and the world will be overrun by machines, Terminators. A man has been training his whole life to leade a rebellion."
"John Connor," Enrique supplied.
"Yes. He and his bride can fight them off, with the military they will form. We need to procect us and ours, however. Who do we need to contact, professor? We have this information, and we can't do nothing with it!"
Nathan
"Click, click, click..." Nathan shuddered, and closed his eyes for a moment. "And here was me hoping I could die nice and peaceful on an Amish farm."
"Well, there may be people we can contact. The YIRAAS, and the Watcher's Council. We need to find out if any other Seers have seen this." Xavier steepled his fingers together.
Claudia
Xavier sighed. "I was afraid this might happen one day. But I always had more faith in the human race, I guess I was wrong. I'm also a member of the IDTF earthly sub-council, the Inter-Dimensional Task Force, a sort of universe-wide police force. But one race destrying itself out of millions is hardly something they will concern themselves with."
"Can we contact the world leaders, sir? The presidents and kings? And MIa's father, maybe he can have some sway?" Claudia asked.
"I will try, dear, but we never know what will happen, except that you three do," he chuckled.
"I will place a call today to Mr. Giles, and Priscilla, as well as the Elder. We will try and save as many people as we can, children, and if at all possible, maybe we can prevent it from even happening."
Nathan
Nathan shoulder's started to shake. "I can see it. A machine starts the armgeddon. Bombs fall..." He looked upwards. "Down, they come. Clouds of heat. Devil's fire." He looked at Xavier hard. "If you want to stop this, you need to destroy the one in the sky."
Professor Xavier
"Child, you're not being very clear," xavier said, gently. "May I take a look at what you're seeing?"
Nathan
Nathan hummed uneasily, then nodded. "Ok." He stepped forward so Xavier could reach him, trying to control his fear at letting someone inside his head.
Professor Xavier
Xavier gently looked around. Lines of computer code. Machines killing people, atomic bombs going off, alligned through the internet and by satelites. Computers that were self-aware and plotting the destruction of humanity. This was not good.
"Computers are trying to erdaicate humanity. Nobody will believe me, but I will place the necessary calls."
Nathan
"Please do." Nathan got away from Xavier quickly. "I've got to go." He turned on his heel and fled, aching for some quiet so he could cry himself out. This was the worst place for visions he'd ever had. They were nearly always of death and blood and fire.
The Professor
"Children, I ask that you not tell the other students what you've seen until I call a school meeting. I don't want rumours spreading, and people finding out wrong information." The two agreed, and they left. Xavier picked up the phone. HBe thought he'd call the Elder first.
