15 May 2003 - Hunting in NYC

Sabre and Rosemary

Sabre stopped the car and helped Dru and Rosemary out. "So, what do you want to do first?" He pecked a kiss on Dru's cheek. "What do you feel like eating tonight? Or do we want to go dancing first?" They'd managed to get out of the mansion without anyone realising what they were going to do.

Rosemary and Dru

"I'm hungry, Papa," Rosemary said, her eyes flashing yellow.

"Oh yes, my dark prince, we must eat first, then we can dance. Is there anyplace here as delicious as the Bronze was?" Drusilla asked.

Sabre and Rosemary

"Probably. New York has a lot of nightclubs." Sabre nuzzled her neck. "Why don't we go find one?" Soon, they were inside a nightclub. Rosemary gasped and clapped her hands.

"Oh, it's ever so much larger then the ones in Prague!"

Dru

"Oh, Rosie, let's gopick us up some pretty boys," Dru said. The two vampiresses began to prowl. They picked out two college boys and began to dance with them. They silently, took their hands and pulled the boys into the corner, vamped, and began to suck them dry while Sabre watched.

Sabre

Sabre ordered a Guinness from the bar and drank it. "Doesn't taste the same as it does in Ireland, that's fer certain sure," he grumbled to himself.

Dru

"Oh, Lover, let's go have some fun and wreack some havoc. It's so much fun!" Dru said, pulling Sabre to his feet and dancing with him

Sabre

"Maybe, just a bit..." Sabre danced with Dru in the press of the nightclub. "A massacre sound like fun to you? These Americans never know a vampire until it comes up and bites them." Rosemary's arms snaked around his waist, and he leant back to press a kiss to her mouth. "And you two are the prettiest vampires here."

Rosemary

"Oh, lets take out the whole club!" Rosemary said. "Oh Papa, I hope I wasn't out of line," she looked down. "But may we, please? We should eat them all."

Sabre and Rosemary

"Why not? Use these though." Sabre handed two necklace charms to the two vampiresses, putting a similair one around his own neck. "Now, this will change what we look like, so no one comes back to the Mansion looking for us."

"You're so smart, Papa!" Rosemary giggled and then spun around. "Shall we, Mama? Let's go play."

"Have fun, girls." Sabre went to get a drink before they killed the bartender.

Dru and Rosemary

Dru ran over and locked the door, and then she and Rosie got up onm the stage an vamped out.

"I don't believe I gave anybody permission to move," she said, as she snapped the guitarist's neck.

"Now, you're all going to die, but you may get to come back, if we like you," Dru said. "I do so need new minions." She warned her daughter. "Now, Baby, don't give them too much of your own blood if you want them as a servant. If you want an equal, give them as much as they can drink," she said, as she killed the rest of the band.

Sabre

Sabre drank down his Guinness, before flicking his claws out. Why should his girls have all the fun? He started to hunt his way through the crowd, selectively killing the ones he felt would be weak vampires and that neither Dru nor Rosemary woud be interested in. Screams resounded.

Rosemary and Dru

Dru was turning quite a few minions, but Rosemary had found a boy she quite fancied.

"May I take a mate, Mummy?" she asked.

"Most certainly, my daughter," Dru said as she sunk her teeth into a toung woman's neck.

"Drink up, dearie," Rosie said as she held her wrist against his mouth.

Sabre

"Chaos reigns." Sabre laughed. "Shall we set fire to the place before we go?"

Rosemary and Sabre

"No, we must leave the bodies time to rise," Dru said. "Let's burn down the building next door. Oh Dark Prince, meet your new son-in-law."

"Papa, this is Luka, he's my new mate," Rosie sang, as Luka swung her around.

"Sabre, we should teach them a real fight, do you think there's a Slayer around?"

Sabre

"I wish. Let's go pick on a Fyarl or something. Something strong. Something that can give us a strong fight. Humans are fun for the running, but otherwise...I want to be challenged."

Dru

"Spike taught me to speak Fyarl. They are quite stupid, you know," she told her two children. "Let's go, my sweet," Dru said.

Sabre

The group of now four headed out. Watching Luka was cute. "Hungry, Luka?"

"Yes. Starving."

"What do you feel like eating tonight?"

"Oh, I don't know. Her."

"So, go chat her up. Move her into a dark place and drink her dry." Sabre shrugged.

Rosemary

Luka did as Sabre directed, and when she was dead, he was full and sated.

"Mmmm, so sweet," he said, blood still on his lips. Rosie leaned over and licked them clean.

"You taste so good, my darling," she said. "Papa, can we have our own place? Just the four of us? Here in the city, away from the boy that tried to stake me?"

Sabre

"Whatever my girl desires," Sabre promised. "Park Avenue sound good to you?"

"Yes, let's live it up. Live with the rich." Luka's face unridged, eyes losing their feral amber glow.

"I could buy, but I think a home has so much more memory if we kill the originial inhabitents." Sabre pulled Dru close. "What do you think, Dru pet? Shall we go house hunting?"

Dru

"Oh yes!' Dru clapped her hands, and spun around. "The stars are positively singing! And if our new boy is a good poppet, he'ss get a prize, like Mummy & Grandmummy's," Dru sang, holding out her hand. Suddenly, her hands went to her head.

"Oh no, it's all wrong!"

Sabre and Rosemary

"What's wrong, lovely? Tell Sabre." Sabre enfolded her in his arms.

"Mama, mama!" Rosemary wailed. "What's singing?"

"Shh, Rosie love. Don't make her more upset. Tell me, Dru love."

Dru

"Big blasts. Like mushrooms. Big puffy mushrooms, all over the world. When the summer sun is still high, and nobody is prepared!" Dru fell down and wrung her hands.

"Oh not good, not good!"

sabre

Sabre cursed long and steadily as he knelt beside her. "Humans don't deserve this world, 'cause they only want to destroy it. Stupid meddling monkeys! They always go that one step too far. Can you see when, Dru? This year, next year, a day?"

"Atomic war," Luka whispered.

"Nuclear bombs. Oh, I'm scared." The two new vampires clung to each other, eyes wide.

Dru

"This summer, when the sun is still high. July, August maybe. Perhaps one of the young seers at the school can discern the day. there will be one human who has prepared to lead the resistance. A boy, only 23, but preparing for this his whole life. He and his young bride will lead the humans. We shall lead what remains of vampires, but we must protect our babies!" Dru warned.

Sabre

"Of course, lovely, of course. Now, why don't we go find your new house? We'll settle in, and then we'll tell them. I want you and yours safe before I tell the people at the mansion, alright? And then we can make sure that everyone will be safe." Sabre lifted her to her feet.

Dru

Dru let Sabre carry her, and she pointed out the house she wanted.

"That one looks perfect," Dru said, her eyes flashing yellow.

Sabre and Rosemary

"Well, you look after yer Sire, Rosemary. And I'll go get us an invite." Sabre put Dru on the ground gently, and strode up to the front door. He knocked. A Mexican woman opened it. "I was jest wonderin' if I could use ye phone. Me car broke down." He smiled disarmingly.

"I ask," she said seriously. "Por favore, wait here." The woman disappeared, but then some cutesy little teen girl walked up to him.

"Rosa, he can come in and use the phone." She fluttered her eyelashes. "We should be nice to out of country visitors."

"So fer, everyone's been very nice to this Irish lad. Me name's Sean, what's yours, lovely?" Sabre headed inside with her. "Do ye mind if my friends come in too?"

"Sure they can come in." Stupid little girl.

Dru and Rosemary

"Pretty girl," Dru said, "Do you have a name?"

"Lilly," she answered.

"Hello Lilly, how old are you?"

"Thirteen."

"How long do you think you will live, Lilly?"

"I don't know, 'til I'm really old, like a hundred." She was a very pretty little girl.

"Would you like to live forever?"

"Of course." Wrong answer. Dru took the little girl and turned her, while Sabre and Luca went after the adults. Dru carried her upstairs, as she and Rosemary went to investigate.

Sabre

"Rosa, Rosa, Rosa..." Luca sing songed. "Do you think I should turn her?"

"Why bother?" Sabre shrugged as he prowled through the rooms.

"Because she already knows how to clean this place?"

"Good point." Luka drained the woman, and then gave her just a bit of blood. Barely enough to turn her. "I bet people who live in a place like this have some good Scotch." They opened a door, and found the parents of the girl downstairs. "Turn the father, you can kill the mother." Sabre let Luka in.

"What is the meaning of this?" The man rose to his feet angrily. The woman screamed as Luka vamped out.

"We're moving in."

Dru and Rosemary

Dru carried Lilly to the nursery, where there were two sleeping children. "Rosie, you may turn them, if you like, would you like children?"

"Oh yes, Mummy, yes, please," she said, and she moved to turn the 6-year old boy, and his twin sister. When that was done, Dru left the three sleeping vampires in the room.

"Luka, leave the mother with her blood, but dead. Put her in here so they can eat when they awake." Dru directed. Then she founf the master bedroom.

"Oh, I've found my room!" she cried. "Rosie, pick out the perfect one for you and your mate, Papa and I will take this one," Dru sang, dancing around the large space.

Sabre and Rosemary

Luka snapped the woman's neck efficently. The man went for a gun, and actually managed to shoot the vampire. "See, that won't kill me, but it *really* stings." Luka didn't waste anymore time talking, but quickly drained the man and made him drink from the boy's wrist. "I am so gonna hurt you when you wake up."

"Isn't he perfect, Mama?" Rosemary whirled in a circle. "Such a lovely boy, all bloodthirsty and hungry. And so, so handsome." They kissed, slicing each other's mouth open with their fangs. "Let's go find our bedroom, but, but you still love us, don't you?" A pouting vampire can be very cute.

"O'course we do. Now, run along and get to know each other better." Sabre smacked her on the ass, and she squeaked, then left with Luka. They dragged the mother's body to the nursery. "So, Dru, lovely, what will we do until your minions wake up?"

Dru

Silently, Dru grabbed Sabre and pulled him back onto the bed, kissing him passionately. They made love severaly times, because vampires have amazing stamina.

Sabre

"You," Se kissed her neck, laving the faint mark that showed where Angelus had bit her, "are one of the smartest, lovelest women," kissing down the curve of her shoulder, "I have ever met, Dru my lovely."

Dru

"And you are the most wonderful man I've ever met," Dru said, delighted at finding a new mate. She hadn't had anybody truly dark since Spike chose Buffy over her.

Sabre

"Let's sleep, yes? And wait for all your children to wake up." Sabre kissed her again, then pullled the covers up and they went to sleep for a bit.
