Faith
Faith was fed up. She'd done all she could in New York, for now, and she couldn't face going back to Tulsa, so she decided to go to LA and give Angel the heads up.
Paige orbed her to LA and then left. Faith would have to buy that girl a present for all the orbing she did. As Faith looked around the lobby of the Hyperion, she smiled wearily. It was like being home.
"Angel?" she called tentatively.
Angel stuck his head out of the office and his eyes lit up as he saw her.
"Hey Faith!" He rushed over and hugged her. She gave a big smile.
"Knew you couldn't resist a hug." Faith patted him on the back and stepped back, just as Gunn and Wesley stepped out of the office.
"Faith." Wesley said, with a slight twinge of affection in his voice.
"Ah Wes, I'm beginning to think that I'm starting to grow on you."
Gunn grinned and punched Faith lightly on the shoulder. "You're growing on me, girl."
"Gunn, missed you." Faith punched him back playfully. "What's been going down here?"
Angel shrugged. "Same old stuff. Bunch of demons came tried to kill me, but I killed them."
Faith nodded. "Ah same old then."
"But how are you? After all that..."
"Five by five." Faith didn't want to talk about the Kenny thing again with Angel, so she changed the subject. "I'd love to say this was just a house call, but I'm more here to talk shop. Glory's back and she's causing disasters at Mutant High."
Gunn looked up. "Gwen."
"She's ok. She's hanging tight." Faith lied. He didn't need to know the truth at the moment. "But you're more needed here." She explained the whole situation and when she was finished Angel's smile had faded and he was back to brooding.
"So what do we do?" Angel sat down on the seat and leaned his head in his hands.
"Right now, we can't find her."
"So are you... staying?" Gunn asked.
"Yeah. I figured I could use a break."
"Here, I'll take you to your room then."
Fred
Fred poked her head out. "Oh! It's the Strong Girl! How're you doing MIss likes-to-fight?" she asked.
Faith
Faith simply waved and continued up to her room. She wasn't really in the mood for talking.
