9 May 2003- Doing What It Takes

Zada

Zada had been watching Zac for the last month. Ever since she'd found out where the Hansons lived, she'd been sitting in the garden, watching the house, peeping into the windows, following him everywhere.

Everywhere which seemed to be a rather large mansion, not far from where she lived.

And in the mansion, lived some dark haired slut, which Zac had been sneaking around seeing for quite some time now.

Well, that was going to change.

There was no way that stupid brunette was going to steal Zada's dream of marrying Zac and having lots of babies with him.

Unless of course, Zada just became her.

Zada grinned as she shifted into Faith. She looked in her little handheld mirror.

"Ha, nice."

Zada coughed, and tried to remember the way that girl had spoken. And what was her name? Ah Faith. After she'd found out about her, she'd researched her history and found Kenny. The one guy from her past who was just stupid and aggressive enough to help with her plan. And it had been really funny to watch Faith struggle with Kenny.

Although, his hurting Zac had been quite uncalled for. And if Faith hadn't killed him that night, she probably would've.

Certain that this was going to work, Zada strutted to the front door and knocked.

Zac

Zac flung open the door.

"Faithy!" he said with a grin. "I saw you through the window."

He wrapped his arms around her in a tight embrace.

Zada

Zada grinned and nuzzled Zac's neck.

"Aw, I missed ya baby."

She let her hands run up and down his back.

"So... your parents home?"

Zac

"For once, no. Dad's at a council meeting and Mom's shopping. So come on in."

Zac, with one arm wrapped around her waist, led Zada into the house, and towards the staircase.

"You know I live in the basement, don'tcha?" he grinned.

Zada

Zada smiled back at him.

Oh my god, this is working!

"Yeah... cool. Private."

Zac

Zac grinned and guided Zada down the stairs. He opened up the door to his room and allowed her to enter first.

"I don't think you've gotten a chance to get a good look in. I mean, there was that time that Paige picked me up - our first time together - but we were more interested in each other at the time."

He winked at her.

Zada

Zada nodded absently, having no idea whatsoever about what he was saying. She was still just freaking out that she was in his room.

"I'm still pretty interested in you."

She looked around and nodded happily. "Nice place."

Zac

"Why, thank you," Zac grinned.

He sat down on his bed and patted the space next to him.

Zada

Zada couldn't stop smiling as she sat next to Zac. She reached over and squeezed his hand.

She was still really confused about Faith's relationship with Zac.

"Don't you care that I'm older than you?"

Zac

Zac touched her face.

"No, I can't say that I do," he replied.

He leaned forward to kiss her.

Zada

Zada leaned in and kissed him, closing her eyes, and reaching her hands around his neck.

She couldn't believe this was working. But it was time to put step two of the plan into motion.

Pulling back from the kiss, Zada fixed a mean expression on her face. Well... Faith's face.

"Zac, I don't think this is gonna work."

Zac

Zac stared at her.

"Why? What? What do you mean?" he asked, wide-eyed.

Zada

Zada stood up.

"I just think this age thing... it's not gonna work. Plus, you're young, you don't know what love is and well... I don't love you."

Zac

"You... you... you don't mean that..." Zac gaped. "Surely you... Faithy?"

He grabbed her hands and held her close.

"No..."

Zada

Zada disentangled herself, inside feeling happy because she was breaking them up.

"I do mean it. You know, you were just a fun thing. Just a toy. And I've had my fun, so I guess I'll be going."

Zada turned around to leave.

"Bye Zaccy."

Zac

"A fun thing? A toy? Faith!"

He ran up the stairs behind her.

"Faithy... surely you don't mean it... I love you!"

Zada

"Really? That's great. See ya."

Zada patted him on the head and left, giggling.

Oh that was complete. Now all she had to do was get Zac to like her. The real her.

Zac

Zac could feel the tear pricking at his eyes. He fled back to him room, threw himself on his bed and cried.
