Kenny
Kenny stalked through the streets of Tulsa.
So, Faith thought she could keep Zac safe? Well, she was about to find out how wrong she was.
He turned the corner and was greeted with the sight of Zac out the front of his house.
"Well, well, well. A bit late for kiddies to be out, ain't it? After all, there are baddies out. And you know what? I'm one of them."
Kenny moved closer to Zac slowly.
"Just you and me. No pesky Slayer to get in the way this time."
Zac
Zac looked up at him.
"Pesky slayer?" he repeated. "You dated her, and you call her pesky? I think you're just sore that I have Faith, and you don't."
Zac stood up.
"I'm not interested in fighting. You, or anyone else, outside of a YIRAAS Challenge. But you're in luck, there's one coming up in a couple of weeks. Talk to me then."
Kenny
"I had Faith... last night in fact. She's cute when she's sleeping, isn't she?"
Kenny gave an evil grin.
"Or is she cuter when she's hurting? I can't make up my mind about that."
Zac
Zac glared at him.
"What did you do to her?" he demanded. "I swear, if you hurt even one hair on her pretty head, I will make you regret you were ever born!"
Kenny
Kenny laughed.
"You should see her... she's sitting up in her room, on the window, looking like she's going to kill herself."
He grinned evilly again.
"I didn't hurt her... you did. At least, she thinks you did."
Kenny shifted into Zac's form and let out a chuckle. "So poor Faith, doesn't know where to turn. I think she's definitely cuter when she's hurt, don't you?"
Zac
Zac gave him a dark look.
"How dare you. HOW DARE YOU!" He bellowed. "Have you ever felt the sensation of your blood boiling? Because you're about to find out!"
Zac began focusing his power...
Faith and Kenny
Faith jumped out of her window and ran in the direction of Zac's house. She had a really bad feeling about tonight. She arrived just in time to see Zac and Kenny about to fight.
Kenny moved closer to Zac, trying to push him away. He aimed a kick for Zac's stomach and was stopped only by Faith arriving and pushing him to the ground.
Faith stopped and looked between the two.
"I..." She pulled her knife out of her pocket.
"Faithy, don't... it's me. It's ok. He's a shapeshifter." Kenny pointed at Zac.
Zac
Zac didn't want to kill Kenny in front of Faith, so he ceased his efforts to boil his blood.
"Shapeshifter am I?" Zac glared. "Well, I guess if I was a shapeshifter, I would be able to do this..."
He heated the ground beneath Kenny's feet to the point where there was no way he could stand still.
Faith and Kenny
Kenny shifted back into himself.
"Damn. You're good. You've got yourself a good kid there Faith. Now you get to watch as I kill him."
Faith roundhouse kicked Kenny away from her.
"You asshole. I can't believe how much I'm gonna kill you."
Kenny grabbed her neck and lifted her off the ground before throwing her across the street.
He advanced on Zac and shifted his hand into a board, and hit Zac with it.
Zac
"I object!" Zac said. "You're not going to kill me and you're not going to hurt Faith again ever."
On that, he froze Kenny.
"See? I told you! Take that, evil villian!"
Faith and Kenny
Kenny quickly shifted into Zac before he was frozen.
Faith paused. She raised her fist to punch him, but she couldn't do it.
"I can't... he looks..."
Then she remembered what he did to her in Zac's form and she let out a loud scream. She roundhouse kicked and watched as Kenny shattered into a million pieces.
As the pieces fell around her, she collapsed to the ground, crying.
Zac
Zac ran over to Faith and embraced her.
"It's over now, Faithy. It's over."
Faith
Faith sobbed into Zac's arms.
"He... and it was you. And I didn't know what..."
Zac
"Shh..." Zac said. "I will never hurt you, Faithy. Never."
