Diana
Diana got up and paced around Zac's room again, looking at her watch for the millionth time. It was still relatively early. 11:30pm. She'd given him until 12, so he had half an hour to get home before she started calling him.
"Zac, where are you?"
Zac
"Mom?" Zac asked.
Great. Now she was checking up on him on dates!
"I'm in the middle of having sex, can you call back later?"
Silence.
"Only kidding, Mom," Zac laughed. "I'm attempting to create a romanitc situation at the lookout on the hill. I knew I should have turned off my phone..."
Faith
Diana frowned. "When d you plan on getting home?"
***
Faith stifled her giggle behind her hand and decided to be really mean and tease Zac while he was talking to his mom. She took off her jacket, shivering slightly in the cold night air, and lifted her shirt over her head and threw it at Zac. She grabbed his hand and kissed it softly.
Zac
"You said I have until 12," Zac replied. "And that's when I'll be back."
Zac's eyes moved to Faith's bra for a moment, then back to her twinlking eyes. He smirked and wagged a finger at her.
Faith
Faith moved and sat in between Zac's legs and turned up to kiss him gently. She took Zac's free hand and put it on her stomach and entwined their fingers together.
***
"Ok, well I'm waiting up, so you better not be late."
Zac
"Don't worry, Mom, I won't be late," Zac replied.
He stifled an urge to kiss Faith back while he was on the phone. If she had any idea what they were doing he'd be lucky if he ever got out of the house again.
Faith
Diana had a feeling he was doing something while he was talking because he seemed a little distracted, but he was probably just preoccupied with... what was her name? Ah, Caitlin.
"Ok, well I'll see you when you get home then. Have a nice night, Zac."
***
Faith raised Zac's hand so it was slightly above her stomach. She leaned up and kissed Zac's cheek and moved slowly down to his lips, before giggling softly into his ear.
Zac
"Okay, bye Mom," and Zac hung up.
He turned off his phone and turned to Faith.
"You are a very naughty girl," he told her.
Faith
Faith grinned cheekily. "Hmm... maybe you should've called me a bad girl coz then... you would've had to... deal with it."
Zac
"Nah, you would have enjoyed that," Zac grinned. "Can't have you enjoying putting me in a pickle like that."
Faith
Faith retrieved her shirt and put it back on, then out her jacket on.
"Sorry, it was gettin' a bit cold."
She winked at Zac. "Although, thinks are looking hotter." She looked at Zac's watch. "Dang, we only have 20 minutes before you have to go home. What can we do in that time?"
Zac
"I could name a few things," Zac replied cheekily. "But uhh... this probably isn't the place."
He took her hand and weaved his fingers in hers.
"I think it's just nice sitting here with you. But if that's too boring for you, we can always go back to the van."
Faith
Faith relaxed against Zac and lay her head on his shoulder.
"I think sitting here is perfect."
Zac
Zac smiled. He brought up his hand and played with her hair.
Things were silent for a time.
"You know what, Faithy? I think you're the most beautiful creature in the whole world."
Faith
Faith sighed in contentment, closing her eyes as Zac played with her hair.
"Zac, you're the sweetest guy that I have ever met."
Zac
Zac rubbed his cheek against hers.
Soon - too soon perhaps - it was time for them to go. They got into the car and Zac drove Faith home. He walked her up to the door.
"Good night, fair maiden," he said.
Then he kissed her.
Faith
Faith gently kissed him back and unlocked the door.
"Good night, baby."
Zac
Zac reluctantly returned to the car and drove home.
After parking the van, he opened the front door, and lo and behold, surprise, surprise, Diana was up waiting for him.
"Hi Mom."
Diana
"How was it?"
Diana glanced at her watch. He was only about 5 minutes late. She could forgive him for that.
Zac
"It was good," Zac replied.
He grinned, noticing her check her watch.
"Was I late?" he asked with a silly grin.
Diana
"Only by 5 minutes. So tell me about Caitlin."
Diana lingered in Zac's room.
Zac
"Umm, well... she's really great. I mean, of course she is because I wouldn't date her if I didn't think she was great. And umm... I don't know... what did you want to know?" Zac stumbled.
Diana
"Am I going to get to meet her? I think it would be nice."
Zac
"Yes Mom," Zac replied. "You will get to meet her. Gee. It was only the first date!"
Then he gestured to the stair well.
"And if you don't mind, I'd like to go to bed now please."
Diana
"Ok, ok. I give up, Zac. I honestly give up." Diana lifted her hands in a surrender gesture and left him alone.
Zac
"Mom?" Zac called after her. "I don't mean to shut you out..."
There was no reply, so Zac shut the door and got ready for bed.
