Tina walked down the hall, Moonie resting on her shoulder. Then she saw a girl and a guy talking to St. John and the two Amish girls, and there was a an insect person flitting around the girl's head.
"Hey," Tina said. "You must be Oliver, Tate, and Buzza, I've heard a lot about you. I'm Tina, and this is Moonie," Tina said, holding out her hand to Tate./ moonie triued to hide behind TIna's neck.
"Don't mind Moonie, she's a little shy. Did you save Buzza's life? Becuase that's why Moonie stays with me."
Oliver, Tate and Buzza
"Well, me has," Tate replied cheerfully. "But Buzza's wiv me mainly cos me is a pathic shifter so me can talk their own language."
"Hi Moonie!" Buzza shouted, not the least bit shy. "Dis izzz my mate Tate."
He giggled.
"Mate Tate! Mate Tate!"
Oliver shook his head and grinned.
Moonie
Moonie peeked from around Tina's neck.
"Hi, me is Moonie. Me like the moon." Moonie flew over and shook one of Buzza's hands.
"You is pwetty, Buzza-Wuzza! Yellow and black is vewy pwetty colours!" Moonie said.
Buzza
"Oooh, you izzz very muchly like da moon, Moonie! And me-me like my colours too!" Buzza said. "Hey! Do ya wanna go flying wiv me to da top of dat gweat big tree over dere?"
Moonie and Tina
"Oh yay yay!" Moonie said. Twees is pwetty too!" Moonie said, following him. Watching them fly away, Tina held up her hand pushed it open, as if she were throwing an imaginary ball. She giggled.
"It's a match made in heaven."
Tate and Oliver
"Yeah," Tate sighed. "It's soooo sweet, and they make such a cute couple"
Oliver rolled his eyes. Girls!
Tina
"Lilly says I'm a hopeless romantic, and I need to stop believing in the idea of love, but I say that Lilly Moscovitz needs to get off her high horse. That's my power, I make people fall in love," she giggled.
Oliver and Tate
"Oh, that explains it," Oliver said. "Well, I'm pyrokinetic, and like Tate said before, she's a pathic shifter."
Tate was resting her head on Oliver's shoulder now, with his arm draped across his back.
"I empathically and telepathically find out what people what me to be," she sighed happily, "and then I becaome that."
Oliver was looking decidedly uncomfortable.
"And there's never a dull moment, I assure you."
Tina, Martha and Becky
"I'm sorry," Tina said, "But you two make such a cute couple!" She looked at Becky and Martha. "Don't you think they lookd goot together?"
"I think they do," Martha said.
"I don't know, " Becky replied, "but I think Tate thinks they do," she smiled.
Oliver and Tate
"Probably because certain people in the nearby vicinity think so," Oliver remarked dryly.
"Mmm... yep..." Tate replied happily.
She kissed Oliver's cheek.
"Okay, that's enough," Oliver said.
He lifted her arm and moved a step away. Tate looked a little disapointed for a moment and then sighed contentedly.
Tina, Becky and Martha
Becky and Martha giggled. "This is so cute!" Tna said. "So, Tate, want me to work a little mojo on him?" Tina winked.
Oliver and Tate
"Don't you dare!" Oliver exclaimed.
He turned to Tate.
"Understand me, don't you dare."
Tate looked at Oliver, then at Tina, and then back at Oliver.
"Ooooh... so divided," she said. "But my bond with Oliver is defintely the deciding factor here."
Tina, Martha and Becky
Tina sighed. "Okay, spoil my fun. Anyways, I had the hiccups earlier anyways. Um, that's actually why I came over here, Martha, can I talk to you for a minute?" Tina pulled the Amish girl aside.
"Um, I'm not exactly certain how to say this. Yesterday, when I was talking to you and John, and I got the hiccups? I, um, I accidentally put the whammy on you." Martha looked confused.
"Um, I kinda made you two fall in love." Martha's eyes widened. "Um, I thought I felt more about him, I mean, I really do love him, you mean, that's not real?"
"Oh, it's real, it's just, kinda mutant-induced." Martha sighed.
"Well, let's just see what happens. It's okay, Tina, I understand what it's like to have your powers get away from you."
"Thanks," she said, glumly. "Anyways, I gotta go. Try to avoid John until I learn how to reverse it, okay?"
"I'll try."
