8 April 2003 - The return of Glory.

Glory

Glory stood up and smoothed out her red dress. "It's good to be back," she said, looking around. She had tried the Hellmouth in Cleveland, but there was nothing ther of any substance, but then she heard rumours of Slayers in Tulsa. She walked around in the Oklahoma night, looking for the brunette Slayer she was sure was there. Then she saw somebody kicking a vampire's ass.

"Hello Faith," she said to the girl. "I've been looking for you."

Faith

Faith dusted the vamp and looked up and saw Glory.

"Hi, you must be that hell bitch I've heard so much about."

Bastet's children and Logan

In Europe, Sabre growled and swung his head as if hunting for an elusive scent. "Now, who was the iidjit who let that blonde bitch out? I think I'll need to be talkin' to the Keeper of the Gates. Drusilla, my lovely, I think we need to return to Tulsa and cut short our sojourn here. Glory's back."

Nyx sat up next to Logan, breath coming in gasps. There it was again. That wrongness in the earth. "Logan? Logan! Glory's back!"

"And who's Glory?" Logan rolled over and looked at her.

"Someone that shouldn't be here, and is very bad news. She's in Tulsa, oh, I want to go! But if Priss needs me, she'll call."

"Giles! GILES! XANDER!" Priss screamed and ran through the house. "GLORY'S BACK! We must go! NOW! She's hunting Faith!"

Xander

Xander swore loudly. "Dammit."

He grabbed a jacket and some weapons and headed out the door to find Faith.

Priss

Priss more or less flew after Xander, white hair crackling with electricty. "I just pray we are not too late. GLorificus...she could beat even all of us. Even my mother would not willing engage her in battle. Oh mother, watch over us now..."

Xander

"It'll be ok, Priss. We kicked that ass once, we can do it again."

Xander paused, thinking that really Buffy had to die again for them to beat her. And technically Giles killed her... or him. Because he was Ben at the time. Xander shook his head. This was too confusing.

Glory

Glory reached over and picked Faith up by the hair. "Now, we can do this the hard way or the easy way. Will you tell me where my Key is?"

Faith

Faith wriggled out of her grasp and kicked her, flying back herself from the impact.

"I don't know where your key is..."

Glory

"Okay, the hard way it is, then." Glory punched Faith with her free had and then tossed her like a bean bag, cathing her by the foot and holding her upside down.

"Well try this again. Where is my Key?"

Priss

"Oh, I am going to talk to the Gatekeeper when this is over! She wasn't meant to be released, ever again!" Priss wrung her hands. "This way, Xander." Priss ran down the street towards the sight of Glory and Faith's confrontation.

Xander and Faith

Xander and Priss arrived to see Faith finishing off a vampire and turning to see Glory. Xander felt like crying. He didn't want to deal with Glory again.

Priss

"Courage, Alexander. Many brave men have held that name, but thou art the only one to distiunguish Xander so." Priss reached out for his hand and squeezed it comfortingly. "Be proud. She has not yet her full strength, I can feel that now. And thou hast prevailed before, against greater odds. Courage. Know that I feel afraid myself. Cowardice is what thou does with the fear one feels." Priss called on her mother as she stepped away from Xander, and lightening hit her with a resounding crack. "GLORIFICUS! Leave that child be, and come engage a worthy opponent!" Priss raised her hands and set jets of pure white light slamming into Glory's chest. "Run," she told Xander and Faith softly. "I'll hold her here. For a while, at the least."

Faith and Xander

Faith went to Xander. "I'm guessing that's the hell bitch... Xand... is she gonna be after Dawnie again?"

"That's the guess."

Faith and Xander prepared to run.

Dru

Drusilla smiled. "Has my pretty lover come back to me?" she danced around. "I love my Glorificus, as misguided and stupid as she is." Dru smiled. "Oh , do come Rosemary, we're going on a trip!'
