Zoe
Zoe sat in her room, bored out of her mind. She'd tried colouring in all sorts of pictures for Taylor if he ever came back. Her mom and dad had tried to explain the situation to her, but she didn't really understand it.
"Bored, bored, bored, bored." Zoe sang to herself. She decided to go projecting around the neighbourhood. She'd always been told to be careful when using her powers, so she would do it quietly. Zoe projected into Avery's room, where Avie was playing with her harmonica and crying softly. Zoe shrugged and left. She projected down to Zac's room, where he was on the phone with someone.
"Mmm... yeah I have faith..."
Zoe frowned. This was boring. She projected out up to her mom who was making lunch in the kitchen.
"Hi mommy."
"Hi honey, what's up?"
"I'm bored."
"Why don't you go down and see if Zac will play with you?"
"I already did, he's on the phone talking about having faith."
"He's talking about what?"
"He just said 'I have faith'. Mommy..."
"Honey, I have to go see Zac about this Faith. I'll be back to play with you later." And with that, Diana left the room.
Zoe stomped her feet impatiently. She smiled, went to her room and projected out to the street and saw some other kids. She went over to them and soon enough they were all playing hide and seek together. A few hours later, Zoe was getting tired, because it was too much of a strain on her to have projected for this long. She let herself come backk to her body in her room and fell to the ground.
"Tired now. But not bored."
