Zac and Isaac
Zac was outside the house in his van. He had been out part of the day on a 'date' with Mouse. They were now waiting for the right moment to go in.
He cell rang and he picked it up.
"Hey Ike,"
"Taylor's in the lounge now," Isaac informed him.
"Okay. Thanks."
"No problem."
They hung up. Zac grinned, glad that he had gotten Isaac in on it. He turned to Mouse.
"Tay's in the lounge. Now's the best time," he told her.
Mouse
"Well, what are we waiting for?" She grinned at him, eyes dancing with mischief. "I wanna show off the new side of me." She gestured down at the tight leather pants, knee high boots and snug sleeveless top, all in black. The tattoed bracelets and the Eye of Horus showed clearly, and at the back you could see the tail of the wolf. "Shock much?"
Zac
Zac looked at her and sighed contentedly.
"You're such a sexy thing it's going to be hard taking my hands - and lips - off you again."
He brushed a lock of her hair out of her face. After getting out of the car, he went over to Mouse's door, opened it and held his hand out to her.
"Milady," he said.
Mouse
"Gentle sir," she said as she took his hand and stepped out of the car. Arms around each other, they walked up to the house. Mouse leaned her head against Zac's shoulder and smiled. This was gonna be fun. And it served him so right. At least she wasn't serious about this. "Hey people, how's life treating you all? Well, I hope."
Zac and Isaac
Zac nuzzled Mouse's neck. Isaac stared.
"Zac?" he said in 'surprise', "You're seeing Mouse?"
"Mmmhmm..." Zac replied.
He breathed in the scent of Mouse's hair. Damn, she smelt nice. Pity she wasn't interested in him.
Avery and Zoe
Avery looked horrified while Zoe didn't notice because she was colouring in.
"Zaccy, look!" Zoe held the picture up, smiling proudly.
Avery frowned. *Zac? What are you doing?* She asked in his head.
Mouse
"Well, since a few things happened, I decided to hook up with Zac. You wanna know why I'm going out with Zac, you can ask Taylor." Mouse smiled sweetly. "I sure would like to hear his explanation."
Zac and Isaac
*I'm helping Mousey get some revenge on Tay,* Zac replied to Avery - he knew she'd hear him. *And boy, he has no idea what he lost, obviously.*
"Tay?" Isaac asked. "What happened? I thought you and Mouse were together..."
"No more," Zac smiled. "My Mousey now."
Zac hugged her closer and kissed her head.
Avery
*Ew. But ok. He deserves it.* Avery grinned, but still sounded disgusted in her mind.
"Well, I don't care who you're with Mouse, as long as you keep hanging out here."
MOuse
"Yep. My Zac." Mouse smiled a cat got the canary smile. "He's fun. Almost cattish, in his own way. I always got on well with cats." She ran her fingers through his hair, still smiling. She hoped she was getting under Taylor's skin. "Faith took me shopping as well, do you like my new look? And we went clubbing, at p3. That was also much, much fun."
"Sure thing, Avery." Mouse smiled. "I like most of the Hansons. How have you been? Alright?"
Christian
Christian was sitting on the lounge, chatting on the net through Taylor's laptop.
He didn't even have to look up when Mouse and Zac came through the door, he knew what they were playing.
"It's good to know you finally moved on, Jane," he began, typing away, "but just remember Zac only wants girls for his night excersize."
He chuckled.
Mouse
Mouse saw red. "At least I know that about Zac," Mouse snapped back. "I really didn't expect to be find you more or less in bed with a stalker, did I? I won't be so shocked if it happens again, but somehow I think Zac will be less gloating about it."
Christian
Christian laughed, glancing at her for a moment.
"I didn't gloat about it, that was simply the way you took it."
He typed away for a moment, then looked between Mouse and Zac. He chuckled.
"I know what you were trying to do. There's no way Zac would be interested in you Jane, you're too tight. Seriously. And for the jealousy thing, it's not working. I've had my fun."
Mouse
Mouse flinched, then her eyes narrowed. "Empath, Tay. I know what I felt. And this isn't to make you jealous, at all. Haven't you ever looked at your brother? At least he looks like a guy." She knew she was being petty, but she didn't care. This way, she wasn't hitting him repeatedly.
Christian
"That doesn't change the fact he wouldn't be interested," Christian raised his eyes at Zac with a grin.
"And you were also a very shocked empath, meaning you could have seen and felt something in an instant and not felt the afterthought."
He tapped away again.
"And the girl jokes are just getting old. I get it from everyone, so you think it's gonna hurt me from you?"
Zac
"I'll have you know, Tayles, that I am very interested in Mouse, and for once I don't care if she doesn't want to have sex with me," Zac said. "Oh, and by the way, the world does not revolve around you."
Christian
"I never said it did," Christian shook his head.
"Jane is merely pointing this half of the conversation at me because I'm meant to be the ex who'll come crawling back. She obviously doesn't realize I've moved on and she should too."
He said that with a pointed look at Mouse.
Mouse
"Already have, Tay." Mouse frowned. "Already have. Gee, I guess blondness does affect your intelligence. Sorry, other blond people who are not Taylor."
Christian
"Well if you've moved on then there's no reason to gloat in my face, is there?" Christian pointed out, unfazed.
He went back to typing on the laptop.
Mouse
"I'm not gloating, Taylor. But Fafnir still wants to rip your throat out. And I would suggest not going outside for a while." Mouse studied her newly manicured nails. "As you know, animals like me. They are not impressed. Shall we go, Zac?"
Christian
"Yeah? Well animals like me too. And the animals around here have known me a hell of a lot longer than they've known you," Christian pointed out.
Rolling his eyes, he realized he wasn't going to get any peace while they were still here.
"Go out and have fun for once in your life," he said, closing the laptop and getting up.
"I'll no doubt see you around sometime."
He smiled at her, then made his way upstairs to Taylor's room.
Mouse
Mouse's eyes were red with anger. "Zac, if we don't leave now, I will kill him. Slowly. Painfully. Let's do as she suggested and go have some fun." She looked at the other Hansons there. "I'm sorry you have to be related to someone that rude. I have great sympathy for you all. Let's go."
Zac
Zac walked with Mouse outside.
"Sorry everything didn't work out quite the way we planned," he said.
He took his hands off her and smiled appologetically.
"Look, I know you're not interested, but if you ever change you're mind, I'd like to take you out sometime. I know I'm not exactly the best kind of boyfriend, so maybe as friends?"
Mouse
"Friends sounds good. Thanks." She smiled at him, and then hugged him hard. "It hurts, you know? Could have so easily loved him, as in the forever kind. And then he acts like that, and I just ask myself, how could I live on the streets so long and not seen it in him. Thanks, Zac."
Zac
Zac hesitated for a moment, then gave her a hug.
"Yeah, I don't know either. What's gotten into him, I mean. If someone told me a month ago that Taylor would cheat I would have laugh in their face."
He paused.
"Did you want me to drop you home?"
Mouse
"I have a few things to set up. The animals like him, my ASS they will when I'm done." Mouse grinned up at Zac. "One thing you don't do, is piss off the leader of the Pack. For Tay, that was me. The animals will get that. I'll see ya round, Zac." Mouse hugged him once more and set off down the street.
