Noah
Noah glanced over at AJ. He was feeling nervous for some reason. Maybe it's because he liked AJ and now she was going to meet Alli and Bella. And he could feel, deep down, that this was not going to go well.
"What did you think of the guys?" He asked, hoping to break the silence.
AJ
"They were cool," AJ nodded slightly, cracking her knuckles.
She hated the idea of meeting so many new people at once. Well, at least she'd know the guys... sorta.
"They remind me of the guys back in Perth. I know a guy called Chris alot like that Chris - looks like him too - but he's more into cars than music."
She stopped fiddling with her hands and looked at the window instead.
Noah
Noah laughed. "Chris is our token blonde. But you gotta love Smitty. Lys might be there... well she'll probably be there. She's Adam's younger sister, shes 16. The only reason she might not stick around is because she doesn't get along with Bella at all."
Noah pulled into Adam's garage and stopped the car, released his seatbelt and opened the door.
"Ready?"
AJ
"Ready as I'll ever be," she said.
She took off her seatbelt and opened the door, getting out. She was kind of hoping there'd be more guys than girls here, as she definately got on with them easier.
Noah, Alyssa, Adam and Peter
Noah led them up to the front door and walked in like he always did. He took AJ where he guess everyone would be, downstairs in the den, no doubt drinking, watching tv and listening to music.
"Hi all."
Alyssa looked up first and grinned. "N-Bitch is here!"
"The Lys-Bitch stayed around tonight, did she?" Noah asked.
"Yuh. Figured if it got too boring, I could beat the hell out of your bony ass."
Adam and the rest of the guys looked up finally. "Hey AJ!" Pete yelled.
"Hi Pete, I'm here too!" Noah said.
"Yeah."
AJ
"Yo," AJ curled her hand in a wave at Pete, then grinned at the other band members.
She chuckled at what Lys said.
"Hey, I've had experience with kickin' his bony ass," she grinned, eyeing Noah, "but really, his elbow and shoulder are bonier. Foind it out the hard way."
She looked around, and spotted the stereo.
"This thing's alien-friendly, right?" she asked Noah.
Noah, Alyssa, Adam, Peter, Alli and Bella
"Yeah, we're all aliens here." Noah replied, gesturing for her to sit down. He pulled the second beanbag out from under Chris.
"Hey, my feet needed that!"
The doorbell rang and Alyssa shot her looks at Pete. "That's her, isn't it?"
"Probably." Adam went to answer it and returned later with Bella and Alli. Bella and Alyssa's eyes met and they both looked angry.
"Noah, hi!" Bella trilled, her eyes still on Lys. Alli groaned and sat down next to Pete.
"Hiya all." She looked at AJ. "I'm Alli. That's Bella."
AJ
"AJ."
She looked her over warily. These were obviously the sluts the guys had told her about. You couldn't be anything but a slut wearing that much... or that little, clothing.
She glanced at Alyssa and had to stop herself from grinning.
Noah, Alyssa, Chris, Peter, Adam, Alli and Bella
Noah cleared his throat, trying to ease the tension around the room. Pete was grinning, amused that it was probably his fault that everything was so strained, while Chris continued watching tv. Adam was looking troubled, but talking to Chris. And Lys just looked ready to kill Bella.
"No plans, tonight, Lyssa?" Bella asked, trying to sound cutting.
Lyssa smiled sweetly and shook her head. "No, I just thought I might hang around here to see you. It's been awhile."
Alli looked nervous. "You're Australian?" Alli asked AJ. "Which parts?" She was making an effort to get along with AJ, although it was clear that they weren't the same types of people. But none the less, she was easier to get along with than Bella.
AJ
"The most isolated city in the world, so I found out," AJ replied with her eyebrows raised.
She leant forward and stretched her arms, then sat back with her legs apart comfortably.
"Perth, in the South/West if you didn't know."
She didn't mean that in a rude way, but she figured it probably sounded like it. Oops...
Noah, Chris, Alyssa, Bella and Alli
Alli nodded before turning to Chris, who was now leaning against her legs.
Meanwhile, Bella had moved to study AJ some more. "Hi. Are you Noah's new girlfriend?"
Noah groaned, remembering that Bella had the tact of... something with no tact at all.
Alyssa took great delight in this question, made a motion of 'play along' to both Noah and then to AJ. She smiled sweetly at Bella. "Yuh, that's this new girlfriend. Jealous, Belle?"
AJ
"Well... I guess you could call it that, eh?" AJ faked a yawn, putting her arm around Noah in the process.
She grinned. This could be fun.
Bella, Noah, Adam and Alyssa
Bella glared at Noah, hoping he'd deny it. He simply shook his head and leaned against AJ.
"Yeah."
Bella looked like she wanted to leave but Alyssa was having too much fun. "So... you look pretty cut. You gonna cry?"
"Lys." Adam's tone was dangerous. Lys looked over and could see him shaking his head. Everyone in the room stopped talking.
Bella shot her glare back at Alyssa. "I'm not gonna cry. It's never taken me longer than a week to get over someone."
Alyssa snorted. "It's never taken you longer than a shower to get over someone. Sometimes, you ain't even alone in the shower."
"What are you implying?"
"That you're a slut. And I'm not implying, I'm saying right out."
"I'm a slut? What about this girl with Noah, who is she?" Bella turned round on AJ, looking ready to kill.
AJ
AJ glared suddenly.
"Who you callin' a slut girl? Least I don't advertise it."
She looked Bella up and down with her eyebrows raised.
"That is seriously a case of 'I'm a village bicycle, come ride me'."
Bella, Allyssa, Alli and Room69
Bella rolled her eyes. "Whatever, I don't have to talk to you."
Lyssa snorted again. "AJ, you're wrong about Bella. She's not the village bicycle, she's the village doorknob, everyone's had a turn."
Meanwhile, the guys and Alli decided it was safer to sit this out and just watch.
Bella rounded back on Alyssa and half on AJ. "You think you're so much better than me, don't you? Well, you ain't! Check it out, you're still living at home, you little bitch!"
"Because I'm like, you know, totally like, younger than you!" Alyssa shouted, imitating Bella.
"And you." Bella's poisonouse glare fell onto Noah. "What, you just, get over me, is that it? I thought it was totally special, what we had."
Noah rolled his eyes, not particularly wanting to be involved, but realised he'd have to. "AJ's not a slut, you are. Look, yeah, we had fun, at least I thought we did, but then you did what you do to everyone else. You cheated."
"So you move on?"
"Yeah. I did. Big deal."
"Couldn't you move onto someone less skanky?"
Alyssa let out a loud cry of anger and jumped onto Bella, knocking her to the ground. "I don't even know AJ that well, but I sure as hell like her more than you, you little bitch!"
Bella pushed her off and stood up. "Well?"
AJ
AJ stood up.
At this point, it's probably best to point out that AJ is not a very slim girl... rather butch. But you probably already knew that...
"Hey girls, settle down," she put a hand up to stop Alyssa attacking Bella again.
"I ain't here to start nuthin'... I'll feel like a bully if I start hitting little girls."
Alyssa, Noah, Adam and Bella
Bella shrugged. "Whatever, the little cow started it."
Adam's temper flared up and he stood to yell at Bella. "Just, get out, ok? I mean, this is my house, and that's my little sister, you're talking about! Sure, she shouldn't've attacked you, but you shouldn't've said all that shit to Noah and AJ."
Noah raised his arms to calm everyone down. "Ok, look, clearly this was a mistake, Bella, you should go."
"What, just me? Why don't you tell AJ to get out, it's... this is so stupid. Noah, AJ's probably just gonna dump you or cheat on you or something. Besides, she ain't pretty like me."
"You mean ugly like you?" Alyssa said loud enough for everyone to hear it.
AJ
"Guys, guys..." AJ spread her arms.
"This is just between us girls, ok? Besides, I don't want any of yous gettin' physical then blaming yourselves for sumthin' later."
She eyed Bella.
"And I'm afraid that even though I dunno Alyssa that well, that I'm gonna have to defend her too. You got a prob' with her? Take it out on me."
She spread her arms in a 'come get me' manner.
Bella and Alyssa
Bella rolled her eyes and kicked Alyssa to the ground before turning to AJ.
"Bring it on then, bitch." She slapped AJ hard, waiting for some kind of reaction.
AJ
AJ raised her eyebrows, almost laughing.
"Now..." she began, ready to put on a show as she did with any fight, "now you must realize I'm not a girly-girl, so I can't slap you. But what I can do..."
She reached out and grabbed Bella's neck with her left hand, slamming her back against the closest wall. Then she moved her hand into a position so Bella couldn't open her mouth to spit or backchat.
"...Is kick your scrawny ass if you mess with mah peeps here."
Bella, Alyssa, Peter and Adam
Bella struggled in her grip as Alyssa started laughing so hard that she collpased onto the floor.
"Bella, you're such a dick!"
Bella glared at Lys and Adam stood up. "Ok, me thinks that we should sort some things out here." He moved AJ's hand away so Bella was free. Then he glared at Bella. "Look, you touch my sister again, and I don't care if you are a girl, I will kick your ass so hard you won't be able to sit down for years. Understand me?"
Pete decided that since he had invited Bella and Alli he should intervene as well. Plus, who was he kidding? He loved to stick his two cents in.
"Ok, let's all get this straight. AJ is a very cool chick, because honestly man, she whooped yo ass Bella! And Bella, you, I think it has been reinforced tonight, you are a slut. And I... I am hot. Extremely." Pete sat down again, grinning.
AJ
AJ snorted.
"It's not exactly a hard thing to do. She's too lil' to compare with someone like me... even if she is older."
She tilted her chin upward, then went back to sit next to Noah.
"And that wasn't me getting into her, that was warning. I didn't do nuthin' to her. If I was gettin' into her she'd have a hella alot more brusies... maybe even be unconscious."
She sat back and rubbed her chin.
"But I'm pretty much not in the mood right now."
Bella, Alli, Peter and Noah
Bella scampered out, leaving Alli in the middle of the room. "I spose I'm obligated to go after her, right?"
Pete nodded. "Yup. Guess so."
Alli rolled her eyes. "See ya's later." She left slowly, looking like she wasn't going to do much to cheer Bella up.
Noah put his arm around AJ when she sat next to him while Chris looked up from watching tv. "You know, I have this feeling I missed something."
AJ
"Like...?" AJ raised her eyebrows with a grin.
"By the way, sorry about that. I would have gone alot further if he hadn't intervened. Have alot of... bad temper to get rid of."
She smirked.
"She was askin' for it anyway."
Chris, Alyssa and Adam
"Yeah!" Chris exclaimed, still clearly having no idea about what was happening. He turned back to the TV, looking enthused. Alyssa threw a pillow at his head and he pretended not to notice.
"Nah, don't worry about it. If you hadn't, I would've." Adam paused. "Ok, I know the whole hitting girls thing is wrong for me, but if she'd touched Lys..."
Lyssa rolled her eyes. "Then I woulda beaten that ass down! I'm tougher than you, Adz, and you know it. By the way, thanks AJ."
AJ
AJ just waved her off.
"As I said, she was askin' for it."
She looked Alyssa over.
"And I kinda like ya so far. But honestly, I prolly woulda been into her even if I didn't. I can't stand her type."
Alyssa, Chris and Noah
Lys nodded. "Yeah, she a ho." She giggled and punced on Chris, who was making faces at her from the floor.
Noah grinned. "Well, looks like Bella won't be bothering me for awhile. I have you to thank for that. How will I make it up to you?"
AJ
"Just don't let me rot away in a hotel for the rest of my life... or however long we're gonna be on the road."
She stretched her arms above her head and yawned.
"So, any kerosene here or what?"
Noah
Noah created a large quantity of kero and cups for all. He handed one to AJ.
"You know, I thought you would've learnt your lesson about drinking." He teased.
AJ
"Well I dunno what happened, do I? Coulda had alot of fun for all I know. Besides, it's night. I'm aloud to go psycho."
She grabbed a cup and gulped down as much as she could, took a breath, and finished off. Then she reached for another one.
"Wanna get pissed tonight."
Then she remembered what had happened to Noah's wall, and looked up at Alyssa.
"What power do you have anyway?"
Peter, Noah and Alyssa
"I'm empathic. What about you?"
Pete cut in. "Oh her power rocks. It's so... whoa!"
Noah rolled her eyes. "You like it coz you didn't have to clean my walls... but then again, I don't have to clean these walls!"
AJ
AJ had another drink, laughing about halfway through.
"Oh yeah man..." she chuckled as she set the cup down, "but you know... we could have a hell of alotta fun with it when I'm drunk."
Then she leant in to Noah.
"Wanna... um... change the party's direction? Shall we say?"
Room69 and Alyssa
Noah grinned, feeling a bit light headed. Pete was basically drunk, he and Chris were steadily working their way through their fourth drinks while Adam turned the tv off and switched on some music.
Alyssa stood up and danced around to the radio.
"Yes, let's change it. Roof, I vote."
AJ
"Hey, how'd you even know my power?" AJ raised her eyebrows.
"Eh, who cares. Roof we go."
And suddenly, AJ changed everyone's gravity to reverse.
"Just please, don't anyone go outside. I'll be too drunk to care by the time I shoulda saved ya."
Noah and Alyssa
"AJ, you're drunk." Noah felt himself now on the roof and he grinned. "But this is fun."
Lys looked scared then relaxed. "Hey... roof party. Cool."
AJ
AJ poked her tongue out at Noah, then screwed her face up.
"I need to get my eyebrow pierced."
Then she stagged, and fell into Chris, who wasn't looking too happy at not having the TV on the roof with them.
She giggled.
Chris, Alyssa, Noah and Adam
Chris caught AJ easily and took another drink. "I like the roof. It's like the floor only up. Well now down."
Lyssa looked confused. "Is he drunk?"
Noah shook his head. "Nope. And that's the sad thing."
Adam grabbed AJ's hands and started to dance. "Wooo!"
AJ
"Oh yeah baby," AJ impersonated Austin Powers.
She started shakin' it, getting closer to Adam, giggling.
Then she stopped suddenly and patted Adam on the head.
"Sorry baby, you're not my baby."
She turned to Noah, grabbed his hands, and pulled him up.
"Will you dance wif me?" she pouted.
Peter, Alyssa and Noah
Pete giggled childishly. "Ooh lost out to Noah!"
Alyssa danced over to Pete and hugged him tightly. "Shut up, Petey."
Noah put his arms around AJ and smiled. "Course I will."
AJ
"You..." AJ poked him in the chest, then tapped her finger upward until she got to his nose, "were gonna be my American boyfriend. And you didn't."
She pouted.
"We didn't remember. We had fun though."
She giggled like a little kid again.
Noah and Peter
"You didn't remember... I didn't remember. Who could remember? I do remember this though." Noah leaned in and kissed AJ while Pete cheered so hard that he fell over.
AJ
AJ wrapped her arms around Noah's neck in an attempt to get further down his throat.
Oh yeah, she remembered this all right.
Alyssa and Room69
Pete let out this strangled cry which everyone pretty much understood to mean "finally".
Noah pulled away and kissed her nose softly. "I remember that."
Chris, meanwhile, took Lyssa's hand and danced with her slowly, swaying to the now slow music coming from the stereo. Adam grinned, knowing that Lys and Chris liked each other. A lot. But he still felt protective for his baby sis.
"Hey Pete, we're the only people who aren't gonna be a couple tonight."
Pete mock glared. "We're NOT going to be? But... I love you Adam!"
Pete came charging at Adam, looking like he was going to swoon into his arms. Adam merely stepped back and pissed himself laughing as Pete hit the ground. Err... roof.
AJ
"Aww Adam, poor Petie hit da roof," AJ giggled, then started jumping on the spot.
Then she suddenly lunged for Noah and kissed him again.
"What kinda crap is this?" she turned to the stereo after pulling away from him again, "come on, hasn't anyone got Linkin Park?!"
NOah
Noah kissed AJ again and changed the CD.
"Linkin Park for the lady."
AJ
"Woohoo!" AJ exclaimed, then began dancing with Noah.
She sang along enthusiastically to every song.
