24 March 2003 - Getting over him

Mouse

Mouse wriggled into the tight crimson leather pants she'd picked up in the first shop, and then laced up the knee high boots she'd bought. A tight black sheer top, and that black bra. She put on some make up, making her eyes dark and sultry with a dar red colour on her lips. She grabbed the black duster Nyx had bought her and walked over to the door. Be good, guys.

Be safe, Mouseling.

Will do. Mouse walked out of her apartment and hailed a cab. She sat silently in the backseat until it reached P3 and paid the driver before getting out and standing in front of the door of the club. She got in quickly and started dancing, mildly aware of the eyes on her but not really caring. The emotions in the club pulsed through her and a smile lit up her face as she basked in the good vibes.

Paige, Faith and Taryn

As soon as they'd orbed in and stepped out of the back room, Paige had noticed about 3 different guys trying to pick Faith up. She was saying how she might not go for anyone tonight, just dance with Mouse and them, but the outfit she was in did not exactly help to take focus away from her. Her black leather pants were extremely binding, but they at least covered her body, as opposed to her dark red top which was showing maybe just a little too much.

"You know, that top doesn't leave much to the imagination."

"Well, I was aiming for something low and red, with just a hint of nipple." Faith grinned cheekily as she spotted Mouse and made her way over.

"Hi girlfriend, you're looking hot tonight."

***

Taryn teleported into the club, and spotted some guys she was interested in. She danced her way over, happy she'd managed to escape paying to get in.

Mouse

"Hey Faith. Thanks. You look pretty good too." Mouse smiled. "Have you seen those guys from the shops yet?"

Faith and Piper

"Not yet, but they'll be here. Paul will want me to do what I promised." Faith grinned coyly and catching Piper's look she shrugged. "What?"

Mouse

"Faith's a baaaad girl," Mouse sing songed, then grinned. "She's teaching me how to be one. So far, it's been fun."

Faith

Faith gestured at where the guys they'd met at the shops were standing.

"Don't move, they'll come over here. Wait, in fact, let's go talk to those guys."

Faith danced over to another group of guys and immediately turned on her charm.

Mouse

Mouse followed Faith, and smiled silkily at the group. "Hey." She recieved their flaring of emotion with nary a bat of her eyelashes. "How's your nights been?"

"Better now you moved over here." One of them grinned. Mouse tilted her head and just smiled.

Faith

Faith ran her fingers through one of the guys hair. "So, feel up for some dancing?"

She pulled the guy away and proceeded to what can only be describe as half mate with him on the dance floor.

MOuse

"Wanna dance?" One of the guys asked her. As he didn't have blond hair or looked anything like Taylor, she nodded and headed out onto the dancefloor. She quickly got into the groove and ground her hsip against his, revelling in the music and the movement.

Faith

Faith danced over to Mouse and pointed. "Girlfriend, ain't that the little bitch that stole your boy? Want to take her out the back and kick her ass?"

Mouse

"It is too..." Mouse hissed, her eyes narrowing in anger. "Let us indeed do that thing. Just make sure to keep her dizzy so she doesn't teleport out."

Faith and Taryn

"Yo, girl." Faith strode over to Taryn and pulled her out to the back area of p3. Where they dumped all the trash.

"Get your hands off me!" Taryn started to teleport out, so Faith punched her, distracting her from the task.

"I heard you stole my girl's boy."

"It's not any of your business!"

Faith roundhouse kicked and sent Taryn flying into the trash. "See, my girl's pretty unhappy, and when she's unhappy, I'm unhappy."

"I said it's not your business."

Faith picked Taryn up and threw her against the fence. "It is now."

Mouse

Mouse slapped Taryn hard across the face. "What is with you people? Are you so desperate?" She slammed a fist into Taryn's stomach.

Faith and Taryn

"Hey, I asked about you and he said you weren't together no more!" Taryn tried to cower but Faith simply back handed her.

"You're a slut." Taryn spat at Faith.

Faith punched her in the face, smiling when she heard a sickening crack. "Yeah, so what?" She let go of Taryn's shirt and kicked her in the stomach.

"So, you gonna say sorry to my girl here?"

Mouse

"Like guys who cheat say they're still with someone. You're not only a slut, you're stupid." Mouse shook her head. "Idiot."

Faith and Taryn

Faith threw Taryn against the wall and watched her slide down. Taryn got up and hit Faith back for the first time.

"Alright, girlie!" She paused before kicking Taryn down again. "My turn."

Taryn looked around and found a bottle. She smashed it and stood up, advancing on Faith menacingly. Faith rolled her eyes and pulled the Jackal out of her pocket. "You a killer, girlie? Coz I am."

MOuse

Mouse grabbed Faith's arm. "Don't go down that path again. Though it could be rather satisfying to scar that pretty face..." she mused.

Faith and Taryn

Faith nodded. "I'm not."

Taryn was crying, but she took this as a distraction and teleported out.

"Damn. I really wanted to make her bleed."

Mouse

"We can break hearts instead?" Mouse offered with an upraised eyebrow.

Faith

Faith grinned and dragged Mouse back inside. She looked at the two groups of guys. "Hmm, eenie, meanie, miney, mo." She strutted over to a different group of guys and sat seductively on one of their laps.

Mouse

Mouse shook her head and smiled, not quite confident to do that yet. "Wanna dance?" he guy she looked at grinned and stood up. "See ya soon, Faith." She headed back out onto the dancefloor, arms around his neck and his around her waist as she swayed suggestively. "So, my name's Mouse. What's yours?"

"Pete."

"Nice name."

"Thanks."

FAith

Faith took one of the guys hands. "Hi, I'm Faith."

"I'm Dave."

"So, you wanna dance?"

Paul, one of the guys from the mall came over and smoothly took Faith's hand. "I believe I had a prior arrangement with the lady."

Dave backed off slightly, then decided to fight for her. "I don't think so."

Faith rolled her eyes. "Share, share and all's fair, right?" She glanced at Dave. "Raincheck?"

She moved with Paul to the dancefloor and ground against him, making him feel very wanted.

Mouse

Mouse felt a guy come up behind her and she glanced behind her. Her smile widened. "Hey, Sean. So, you decided to come?"

"Yeah." The glares and jealous possessiveness were very gratifying.

"Sean, meet Pete. Pete, meet Sean. And we all know me."

"Yeah." They both said, glaring away.

"Dance later? Next song?" Mouse fluttered her eyelashes at Sean. He grinned and nodded.

"Sure thing. I'll buy you a drink."

"Thanks." Mouse smiled.

Faith, Paige and Phoebe

Faith was getting Paul very worked up when she suddenly pulled him into the backroom.

"So... I still wanna know if you're a natural blonde."

***

Paige and Phoebe were dancing with some guys when they saw Faith disappear into the back room. "Oh dear."

***

Faith grinned then left Paul in the back room and went to find some other guys. She danced by herself near Mouse for awhile, but it wasn't long before someone else approached her.

Mouse

"So, I'll buy you that drink now." Sean deftly took her from Pete as the song ended and Mouse smiled.

"Lead on, gentle sir."

"As you will, my lady." He grinned roguishly at her. Mouse smiled; he was smart as well as cute. "What would you have?"

"Just a Coke, thanks."

"Won't join me for something a little stronger?"

"Trying to get me drunk so you can take advantage of little old me?"

"How could you think such a thing!" He gasped in mock affront, then smirked. "Would you take it against me if I said yes? I'm waiting for you to wake up and leave."

"Oh, I'm awake." They flirted for a bit longer, then went and danced.

Faith

Faith pranced over to the bar, waved at Mouse and signalled for Christina to get her a drink.

"Thanks." She finished most of it then went back out onto the dance floor, where she went for another guy... who unfortunately, already had a girlfriend. Well, unfortunately for the other girl, not for Faith.

Mouse

Mouse snickered as the emotions around Faith went sky rocketing. "Faith is being bad," she said to Sean.

"Oh?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Stealing someone's boyfriend...she's naughty that way."

"Are you?"

"Nah. I'm getting over being cheated on myself. Do you mind being my therapy?"

"Not when I get to dance with someone as cute as you."

"Aw, thanks."

"I mean it."

Faith

Faith moved around so that the guys hands were around her waist. The girl was standing back angry and disbelieving.

"Excuse me."

"Ok." Faith continued dancing, uncaring.

"Hello?!"

"Hi."

"He's my boyfriend!"

"Well done?" Faith clapped for the girl then turned around and put her face up close to the guys. "So what's your name?"

"Matt."

"Tell me Matt, do you have Faith?"

Matt shook his head.

"Well... do you want to?"

Mouse

Mouse was dancing in the center of a few guys, flirting outrageousloy and enjoying every minute of it. She'd never really encouraged male attention before; that being a very good way to end up raped and possibly dead on the streets. She liked it though, and all the emotions were giving her a buzz. She glanced over at Faith, and hoped the Slayer knew how much she appreciated this.

Faith

Faith caught Mouse's eye and smiled encouragingly. She ignored Matt's girlfriend and began to kiss him. He didn't exactly pull away, so she whispered in his ear. "Hey, you wanna come back to mine tonight?"

"Sure, why not."

Mouse

Mouse laughed as the girl's anger hit the roof. "Faith is being baaaaaaad. What fun." She danced closer to Sean, arms curling around his neck. "Isn't being bad fun?"

"With the right person, it can be."

"Faith is good to be bad with. She has a lot of practice at it." His hands massaged her back, slipping round to her ass. Mouse almost purred.

"You're pretty good at it yourself." He bent down and kissed her. Mouse kissed back.

Faith

"MAAAAATTT." The girls voice was loud and annoying.

Judging by the look on his face, Faith wasn't the only person who thought so.

"What?"

"Let's go home."

"You can go if you like, I'm not done yet."

Faith grinned. "Bye bye." She danced away with Matt, leaving the girl looking very angry and put out.

Mouse

"'Nother drink?" Sean asked. Mouse nodded; she was kinda thirsty.

"Ok." They went back to the bar and chatted for a while, Mouse ordering another Coke while he had a Barcardi.

Faith

Faith and Matt went over to the bar. "Hey girl, I'm gonna go for a bit, but I'll be back."

Faith left with Matt, arms around his waist. She appeared back at the club half an hour later looking pleased with herself. She caught with up Mouse on her way to the bar.

"How are ya, M?"

Mouse

"I'm five by five, F." Mouse grinned back, before sipping from her Coke. "How was whoever he was? Good? You look...satisfied."

Faith

Faith grinned. "Hmmm he was... well I've had better. Not that I have much experience." She fluttered her eyelashes and tried to look innocent.

Mouse

"You? Experience? Oh no, of course not." Mouse laughed. "Meet Danny." The red head next to her nodded a greeting.

"Pleased to meet'cha."

Faith

"Hiya. Well excuse me, there's some guys that have my name all over them."

Faith danced over to Paul again, who looked a bit put out.

Mouse

Mouse grabbed Danny's hand. "Let's dance!" They danced and Mouse got more and more into the whole experience. She hadn't known what she'd been missing. She traded in partners frequently.

Faith

Faith managed to cheer Paul up by promising that he could spend the night with her. She danced over to Mouse.

"Hey, you wanna stay at the Manor tonight? We have spare rooms."

Mouse

"That would be nice, but I havta go hime. Fafnir and the others will be worried. Thanks for offering, though." Mouse smiled, genuninely pleased to have a friend like Faith. "Thanks for eberything, Faith. You've really helped."

Faith

Faith grinned. "Anything for ya." She waved and wiggled her eyebrows as she led Paul out of the club and obviously back to the Manor.

Mouse

Mouse danced for a bit longer, and then headed home, throwing all the numbers she'd collected to the wind. She really wasn't looking to start anything, although that Sean guy had been rather nice...

Shakira

Shakira was singing her heart out on stage, when she finally got an idea.

"Hola peoples, y'all gotta see my girls here- Mouse, Faith, get your butts up here," she shouted. "This here's my man, Lorne, and these two are my girls," she said into the mic as she pulled Mouse on stage, and Faith hopped up next to her.

"Now, this next song is dedicated to very bad boy, Taylor!" she said, "Come sing it with me Mouse," Shakira pulled Mouse next to her, and held the mic out in front of both of them, as the first power chords began.

"At first I was afraid, I was petrified, kept thinking I could never live without you by my side...."

Mouse

"I will survive, I will survive, hey hey. I will survive. As long as I know how to love, I know I'll stay alive..." Mouse sang into the mic, smile curving her lips. Good to forget. She kept singing.

Faith

Faith rolled her eyes but joined in, laughing happily.

"I've got all my life to live and I've got all my love to give..."

Shakira and Lorne

Shakira had so much fun dancing and singing with her friends, and then she and Lorne did a Motown medly that had everybody smiling and emotional, it was so wonderful. It was hard to believe how fast it had gone by when the evening was over.
