Ash
Ashley bit his lip as he dialed Ike's cell phone number. He'd meant to ask the guys before, but they couldn't put on a gig that night (which he was sure they could) they could always make do with the stereo. No big.
His fingers tapped away as he heard it ring. Admiral Twin were going to be at the party, and they'd offered to do a set as well.
Isaac and Zac
"Ooh, I'm vibrating," Isaac said, fishing his phone out of his pocket.
"You have that on vibrate?" Zac asked, giving him a silly grin.
"Zac? Wipe that dirty thought from your mind right now."
"Aww, but I like dirty thoughts."
"You would. Oh, it's Ash" Isaac then answered the phone. "Hey Ash."
Ash
"Hey man," Ashley grinned, "listen ah... sorry to put this on you so late, but would you guys mind playing a few acoustics tonight? We have Admiral Twin there for a few songs, and I was wondering if you either wanna join them and/or do your own set?"
Isaac and Zac
"Oh okay," Isaac replied. "Well, it's fine with me. I'll just run it past Zac and Tay. Hey Zac, you wanna perform some song at Ash and Mindy's party tonight?"
"That's tonight?"
"Yes it is."
"Oh, I forgot. Umm, yeah, I don't mind."
"Okay, Ash? Zac's fine with it. I'll just find Tay."
And Isaac went looking.
Christian
"Cool man," Ashley nodded, ticking off 'Entertainment' on his list of things to organize.
He still had the bridal party to go... he'd organized with Mindy who they were going to ask, they just had to pop the questions.
Isaac
Isaac headed up to Taylor's room and spotted him at his desk.
"Hey, Tay, you wanna sing some songs at Ash's and Mindy's party tonight?" he asked.
Christian
Christian looked up from his dragon illustration. He'd been working on it for a few nights, as he didn't need much sleep.
"Uh... yeah sure, I guess..."
He was a bit hesitant for no reason imparticular... apart from never performing before a crowd before.
But in the back of his mind he knew he could survive from Taylor's memories, if only that.
"Which ones did you have in mind?" he asked, sketching a bit of a background for the beast.
Isaac
Isaac shrugged.
"Don't really know. Ash?" he said into his phone. "Any songs in particular you want?"
Ash
"Nothing negative," Ashley insisted straight away, "but other than that, I just want you guys to have fun. You know it's an engagment party, so the usual stuff for something like it. One special request though..." Ashley's voice dipped, "Love Song. Mindy loves it."
Isaac
"Fair enough," Isaac replied. "Tay? Nothing negative and we gotta play Love Song. Cool? Cool. Ash? Was there anything else?"
Christian
Christian nodded, continuing to draw.
"Umm... I don't think so. I'm counting on the fact that there's either a drum set there or A.T. are gonna bring one. If not just do the usual. Just bring your acoustic and if you need a tambourine. Basically you know what to do. You've been doing it for years," he grinned.
"See you tonight?"
Isaac
"Sure thing. See you then," Isaac said and hung up.
