Barry, Robin, Kirk and Christian
"It's gonna happen today," Barry insisted.
"You don't know that for sure," Robin rolled his eyes as they stood on the side of the street.
He stood leaning against a light pole with his shoulder, while his older brother stood by with his hands in his pockets fretting. Why couldn't Barry relax for once in his life?
"Yes I do Robin. Why else do you think we're standing out here?" Barry looked around desperately for any sign of the punk or the blonde, "and it's going to happen on this corner."
He checked his watch, then looked to the sky. He saw a helicopter a little way off, heading in their direction. He grinned and pointed to it.
"It's happening Robin. That helicopter was right over them."

Kirk dug his hands in his pockets as he ran across the street. People were giving him strange looks, which wasn't unusual. But hey, at least they weren't vampires.
He spotted two old guys standing by a light pole just ahead. They seemed to be looking for someone. And they seemed familiar.
Ok, most likely famous. Well, he was steering clear of them. He'd had enough trouble with celebrities lately.
Just before he got to them, he went to cross the road again.

Christian felt his hand shaking and looked down at it. He knew Taylor's echo was his cause for being nervous. Just randomly his head would be flooded with memories for no reason whatsoever. Maybe someone or something was trying to get him to like Isaac or something, instead of killing him like he planned.
He sighed as he made his way across the street, not looking at anyone. He didn't need to. Anyone who saw him would most likely forget a second later or think he was Taylor Hanson. He was used to it.
Hearing a helicopter flying low overhead, he held a hand over his eyes to shield the sun as he looked up. Before someone smacked right into him.
"Hey man..." Kirk quickly apologized, not seeing him.
"GET OFF ME!" Christian yelled, pushing him away.
He didn't need this now.
Barry's head snapped up.
"Robin!"
"What's your problem?!" Kirk exclaimed in a bring-it-on tone.
Then he stopped and stared as Christian frowned.
"That them?" Robin leant in to Barry.
"Yes. I told you."
"Oh my God..." Kirk's eyes widened.
"What are you staring at?" Christian demanded.
"You... you again. Look, sorry about the crash, ok? You don't have to bite my head off..."
"What crash?"
"The crash... you know."
Kirk frowned. Christian remembered Taylor's crash clearly with the punk Dathrian, but really didn't need this right now.
"Taylor?" Kirk asked with a frown.
Barry grabbed Robin's shoulder.
"I have to intervene."
"No Barry, you can't..."
"I have to! This kid's desperate."
Christian snorted.
"I'm not Taylor Hanson man, forget it."
Christian waved his hand at him, then continued down the footpath shaking his head. Kirk stared after him as Robin held his brother back.
"He's the one you're looking for," Barry whispered, before Kirk looked up.
"WAIT!" Kirk yelled, running after Christian.
"Barry, we should get going..." Robin began, watching the two.
"No, no we have to help," Barry frowned.
"Well if you're not Taylor Hanson then who are you?!" Kirk demanded, catching up to him and stopping him - a hand on his chest.
Christian stepped back with a frown.
"Why the hell should I tell you?"
"Then I'll just think that you are Taylor and don't want to talk to me," Kirk raised his eyebrows.
"Fine. You do that," Christian nodded, attempting to push past.
"Look," Kirk stopped him again, "at least I know he doesn't have as big an attitude problem as you."
Christian glared through his sunglasses.
Kirk reached out and whipped the sunglasses away, revealing Christian's blue eyes. He hesitated.
"Give me them..." Christian snarled, snatching them away and putting them back on, "look punk, what is your problem?"
"You're telekinetic."
Christian froze. He counted himself lucky the street was practically deserted right about now.
"Look man, I don't know what you're talking about."
"Bull shit. You're a telekinetic. Do you even know your parents?"
"Yes I do as a matter of fact."
"Where are they?"
"Dead last I heard."
"And when did they die?"
"Who the hell are you?! Why the hell do you want to know?!"
Christian attempted to get past him again, but Kirk held him back. They were beginning to draw attention.
"Look," Kirk began softly as Christian rolled his eyes, "I have reason to believe that you are not know you think you are."
"What?"
"Just... work with me here..."
"You're saying I'm not me. What is there to work with?!"
Kirk cringed slightly, and eyed off Barry and Robin.
"It's working," Barry grinned.
"Isn't that nice. He's made a new friend," Robin rolled his eyes.
"No, no, no Robin. This punk kid is this guy's father."
"What?" Robin demanded, looking at his brother as if he was crazy.
"You'll see," Barry grinned, "come, we must follow them."
The two Bee Gees began to follow Kirk and Christian down the street. Looking around before an alleyway, Kirk quickly ducked down there pulling Christian with him.
When Barry and Robin made it to the entrance, they saw the two about halfway down. they'd stopped again.
"If only Mow was here. Invisibility would be so useful right now," Robin mused.
Barry just nodded.
"Look man. You are a Dathrian, pure blood. As far as I know," Kirk began, having bailed him up against a brick wall.
"I'm a Dathrian and human hybrid. I have a power called duplication. Let's me clone things and people."
To demonstrate, he tapped Christian's sunglasses, caught the duplicate and put them on his head.
"Now to cut a long story short, when I was little I wanted to know if I could duplicate people. I found out I could by trying on a baby in a park. The baby had blonde hair, blue eyes, and a telekinetic older brother. How do I know? I touch things to duplicate them. While I was touching this baby his brother ran into me. You know at that age it takes a while to clone living things, so I was halfway through and he screwed it up. The clone ended up with his power."
Christian shook head and tried to move away, but Kirk held him back.
"Listen man! Now you look too much like Taylor for my liking. He's a complete Dathrian, so if you're his clone, you are too."
"How do you know it isn't him that's the clone?" Christian frowned, trying to think of a way to get away from this jerk.
"Because I took the clone with me. Gave it to a couple who wanted a family. The mother took off not long after and I have no idea what happened to the guy. You're about twenty years old."
"Twenty-one."
"No you're not."
"How the hell do you know?!"
"Because I made you. Listen to me for Christ's sake."
"You're saying I'm not real, and you want me to listen to you."
"Oh no no. You are real. You are VERY real. You real pain don't you? That is real, ok? You're here. You're now. And my focus is on you."
"Nice to know," Christian screwed his face up.
"Trust me man... name's Steel by the way."
"Nice. Now let me go."
"Not until you tell me where I can find you."
Christian looked either way down the alley, Barry and Robin being out of sight. Then he picked Kirk up telekinetically and threw him to the other wall. He hit the wall with his shoulders and landed in a crouching position, his eyes wide.
"You're a freaking telekinetic. I knew it."
"Stay away from me," Christian growled, balling his hands into fists.
"Like it or not man, I'm you're creator."
Kirk shrugged, straightening his trench coat.
"I'll be keeping my eye on you."
He blew Christian a kiss, then took off down the other end of the alleyway.
Christian watched after him, a confused look on his face, before shaking his head and turning to leave.
Barry and Robin turned from the alley entrance and made their way back down the street, pretending to mind their own business as Christian emerged.
Robin shot Barry a worried glance.
