Sabre
Sabre sat in the control seat of the plane, grin stetching his face. He was flying the plane. Finally they were going to Prague. He couldn't wait. It had been rather a long time since he'd been in Europe, and he was looking forward to finding out what had changed, who had died, dusted or whatever the case may be, and all of it with Dru on his arm. His grin got wider. "Ye alright back there, lovely?" He called out to Dru.
Dru
Dru stood up in the back of the jet, through her arms out and spun around. "Oh it's been so long since I've gone through Europe! We shall leave a trail of blood! They shall tremble at the river of death we leave in our wake! Let's party!" Dru began to dance up and down.
Sabre
"It'll be glorious! We'll hunt and play and all the little humans will remember what it is to fear the night. But we remember not to tell the others. Never ever!" Sabre laughed. "They wouldn't understand it, Dru me girl. So, we'll land in Prague, and stay there for a bit, and then...Britain? No Watcher's Council now. No Slayer either. We can dance the nights away..."
Dru
OH yes!" Dru danced in the back of the plane as Sabre drove her back to Prague. What fun they would have!
Sabre
After a few more hours, Sabre landed the plane in Prague airport. He shut it down and got outof his seat, offering his arm to Dru. "Well, milady? Shall we descend into the teeming masses and have some fun?"
Dru
"Oh yes! I'm in the mood for little boys," she grinned at Sabre, taking his arm, her long flowing skirt swishing around her.
Sabre
"Whatever my lady desires," Sabre said seriously, raising her hand to his lips and pressing a kiss there. "Whatever, indeed. So, let's go have some fun!" They headed out, passing quickly through Customs aided by some serious amounts of cash. "So, pub, club, nightbox, or do we want culture? Theater, opera, muesum, sight seeing..." Sabre raised an eyebrow at Dru.
Dru
"Oh, wilt there take me to the opera? But I am not dressed for the opera, we should get my trunk, it has my finest gowns in it, along with Miss Edith and her friends, though I left to for Siobhan, I do hope that Dawn gives her them." Dru said, clinging tight to Sabre's arm.
Sabre
"I bet she will, Dawn is a nice girl. Trunk'll be right along, I sent it on to our motel. Hey, if we're gonna do Europe, we'll do it in style!" Sabre whirled Dru out in a spin, before bringing her back up against his chest. "Lots of different stles. Punk, rock, classic black..."
Dru
"Oh hooray! But first, I am hungry. I'd like a nice schoolgirl tonight."
Sabre
"How about that one, lovely?" Sabre jerked his head at a group of college students sitting outside one of Prague;s many cafes. "Sweet with cream and honey, are all these European girls."
Dru
"Oh yes!" Dru walked up to the girls. "How pretty you are!" she said to the youngest looking one, who was drinking a latte. "Won't you even be prettier dead?" The girls tried to run away as Dru vamped out, grabbing one of the girls, and drinking her dry.
"Let's go to the hotel, Kitty dear, I want to change before the opera."
Sabre
"Whatver you desire, my lovely." Sabre had watched quite calmly as Dry fed, not feeling a twinge of guilt as the vampiress killed a girl in fromt of his eyes. He looked up as sirens started to wail. "Time to go, sweet." He grabbed Dru's hand and ran for it. They caught another taxi to the Hotel Hoffmeister, allegedly the best hotel in Prague. He had to admit, it had a sense of old worldliness elegance to it. And the room was fantastic, spacious with colours gleaming from every corner, and a very large spa bath in the huge and lavishly appointed ensuite. Sabre grinned as he indicated Dru's baggage. "Your bags, Dru. Pick something and get prettied up. I'll wear the clothes the witch in Smallville gave me."
Dru
"Then I must match," Dru decided, and put on her petticoats, and hoops kirt, and then the pink dress Nyx had bought her in Smallville. She then put on her finest dancing slippers, and said the spell Nyx taught her to make her hair look as if her mother had not it. The finishing touch was the necklace Spike gave her for Valentine's Day, back in Sunnydale.
"I am ready, my dark one, are you?"
Sabre
"Indeed, Dru my love." While she had been dressing, he had slipped into his own clothes and hacked into the computer systems of Prague's operahouse. He booked them a box, calmly evicting the previous occupants and putting them down in the stands. "We have tickets and all. How does La Boheme sound to you?"
Dru
"Oh! It is my favorite!" Dru sang, "I love Mimi," she danced. "Shall we go then?" she asked, tying her bonnet on loosely.
Sabre
"Let us indeed." They walked out and Sabre hailed a cab. They got in and sped off through the streets of Prague for the Opera. When they arrived, Sabre paid the driver then offered Dru his arm. "See anyone you fancy, lovely? I can cut them out of the herd if you want."
Dru
Dru looked around and saw a sweet, shy, innocent-looking girl, who insantly reminded Dru of Willow in high school.
"That one," Dru pointed to the girl, grinning.
Sabre
"As you wish, my lovely." Spike raised her hand to his lips before walking off and starting to chat up the girl Dru had indicated. Very quickly he had her eating out of his hand, giggling and flirting. Sabre smiled, at least she got to feel the princess before she died. Soon, he cut her out from her party and led her away from the bustle of the opening theatre, so Dru could feed from her.
Dru
"What a pretty girl you've brought me, my dark one." Dru said as she kissed the side of the now frightened girl's neck, and swiftly vamped out and began to drink. The girl was so pretty and innocent that Dru quickly made a decision. she cut her own wrist and held it to the girl's mouth, "Drink, luv," she commanded. Just before the had brough the girl to death, she asked.
"What's your name, darling?"
"Rosemary," the girl gasped as she fell over the brink and into death.
Sabre
"Rosemary...nice name. Was she sweet and innocent, lovely? I think she'll make a wonderful vampire." He patted Dru's shoulder in congratulations. "You always have the best taste."
Dru
"What shall we do with her before she awakes?" Dru asked. "My dark kitty, will you carry her into our box? We can pretend she's only dozed off," Dru decided.
Sabre
"Why not? Let her first meal be cultured!" Sabre laughed then swung the girl's body easily into his arms, rearranging her so she looked like she was sleeping or possibly whispering something into his ear. "She will drink wine, and we'll have a grand time. I'll be the talk and envy of the otwn with a dark goddess by me right, a sweet little girl by me left." They started to walk into the Opera house.
Dru
Dru was delighted as she watched her favorite opera, though by the end of the second act, she was beginning to lose focus, and was unable to stop herself from rising and dancing in place to the beautiful music. Mimi's death always moved her so much. Before long, Rosemary awoke, feral and hungry for her first drink.
Sabre
Sabre stroked her hair. "How are you feeling, lovely?" He asked. She turned yellow eyes on him.
"Hungry..."
"Why don't I go get your girl something to eat? Or do you wish to lead her on her first hunt?"
Dru
"She should learn early," Dru replied, "Angelus always hunted for me, and I did not know how for so long. Come with me, pretty!" Dru sang, "I am your mummy now." She led the girl out into the hallway, and then they snuck into the next box.
"Pick a good one, dearie, and bite quickly, or else they might hurt you." Dru whispered to her childe.
Sabre
Sabre watched the opera through his glasses, ignoring the scent of spilled blood and fear coming from the next box. A muffled scream, but it was covered to all ears but ones as keen as his under the music. He sang along quietly as he waited for Dru and her new Childe to come back.
Dru
Rosemary was a fast learner, and before long, was well fed, and she ad Dru returned to their box, and rejoined Sabre, each sitting on one side. It was almost comedic, the way they each laid their head on his shoulder.
Sabre
Soon the opera was over, and Sabre escorted his ladies from the box. "Well, shall we go hunting?" His teeth gleamed in the reflected light of the streetlamps as he smiled. "I'm sure Rosemary is simply ravenous."
Dru
"Oh yes, we just must!" Dru said, clapping her hands. "I want a child, a little one, the pureness of the blood will strengthen my little one," Dru decided.
Sabre
Sabre shook his head. "I'll leave that to ye then, Dru lovely. I won't help ye steal a babe." Adults, or close enough yes. They could run. But not a child. Sabre's face showed he wouldn't be moved on this. "I won't stop ye, but I won't help ye neither. Sorry, lovely."
Dru
"Oh, all right" Dru acquiesced. "I need to see the stars. Oh, but Sabre, I must get under the stars!" she cried, suddenly panicking. "It's all wrong! All wrong!"
Sabre
Sabre enfolded her in his arms, shushing her. "Look up, look up to the sky, lovely. See them shine? I bet they sing for you...what's so wrong?"
Dru
"Four deaths, but only two Slayers? That can't be right! Oh no!" Drusilla looked around. There was a Slayer in Prague, that nobody was expecting.
Sabre
"O, dearie, dearie me," Sabre said softly, then he raised his head. His eyes narrowed. A Watcher to the right. "Rosemary! We're going!" He grabbed both of their hands and they more or less ran back to the hotel. Sabre thought he'd managed to lose the Watcher by the time they got back to the Hotel. "Dru, pack your things, lovely. How do you feel about going to Paris?"
Dru
Dru clapped her hands. "Paris! Oh Paris is so pretty, but, shall I eat the Slayer? I've killed one before," Dru said, thinking of Kendra.
Sabre
"Priss would get upset, you know she's trying to get the Council off the ground again. If you eat their Slayers, they havea bit of a problem." Sabre looked at Rosemary. "Slayers hunt you, vampires. You're a demon. They like to kill demons, it's their destiny to kill you. Watchers help the Slayers with the mental side of it, cos ya gotta face it. Slayers ain't the smartest girls."
Dru
Dru sighed. "Alright, let us fly. Paris is so pretty at night!" Dru sang.
Sabre
"Ok, then. Rosemary, help your Sire pack." The new Childe nodded and started to pack away the few things Drusilla had out. "I need to hack into the airport and set a few things up..." He sat down at his laptop and started clicking away, frowning in concentration.
Dru
Dru smiled as Rosemary helped her pack up her dolls. She carefully put away Miss Edith, and then picked up Miss Chloe, Miss Edith's best friend.
"This is for you, me sweet daughter," Dru sang, as she handed Rosemary the doll. "Her name is MIss Chloe, and she is Miss Edith's best friend, and not nearly as naughty." She kissed her new childe on the forhead, and Rosemary beamed. Before long, they had everything packed away, and waited for Sabre, so they could be off.
