12 March 2003 - Darkness rolling in

Cain and Llewyns

Cain laid his head on his hands and watched the mutants of the School. There'd been a bit of activity last night...and now he wanted to just go in there and rip their world apart. He toned down on the hate that rose up in him like a wave and stared down, making his thoughts quiet and still. Stuff it. He wanted to watch someone die. He crept down the hill and waited for one to come just that bit too close...

Siobhan giggled and ran out into the woods, easily evading the laughing Mary. "Can't catch meee-eee!" She sang as Mary ran after her.

Cain watched the two little girls run closer to his hiding place and snarled as he turned on his power. He sprang, fangs coming down and strength flowing through his body.

Siobhan screamed and ran backwards into Mary as Cain leapt at her, hands outstretched. The two girls screamed and kept screaming as they ran back to the School. Cain growled in frustration and ran after them, the bloodfrenzy clouding his brain.

Mordred had been talking with Vortigern, and then they both felt the welling of fear from their sisters. He 'ported to where they were and caught them up in his arms before jumping with them back to where Vortigern was still standing, eyes wide as he caught a glimpse of what had been chsing the girls. And such an air of hate and anger. Fangs. Hair. Human looking but not, and not a vampire either.

Cain howled in frustration as a dark haired male mutant whisked the two girls to safety. He wanted BLOOD! He retreated back up into the forest and savagely killed a homeless dog, entertaining himself with its pain.

"What in the bloody hell was that?" Mordred said in shock as he set his two sobbing sisters on the ground.

"I think the prof may have some answers. Or at least, I hope he does."
