17 February 2003 - Touching down in OK

AJ

"Over there," AJ's father indicated where they were to pick their luggage up.

AJ was sick of airports. With good reason.

She rolled her eyes as they went to get their suitcases. Her father leading the way, they finally picked them up, and headed outside.

"I have a business colleague here to fetch us," her father informed her, playing with his mobile phone.

"Oh joy," she sighed.

He glanced at her, but paid it no mind.

She followed him outside, before he spotted the car and they made their way over.

"Ralph?" he called.

"Yeah," the driver replied.

AJ's father nodded, and went to put their luggage in the trunk. AJ watched, ready to help, but her father wouldn't let her. She'd been let out of hospital just the day before, so he wasn't ready to let her do anything. She hated it.

Finally, they got into the car, and headed off to their hotel.
