Bastet's children
In three different locations in the convention center, a cat snapped their eyes to the sky and then slowly fell to their knees and howled.
Priss screamed as the magick ran through her. A Goddess was born, the Hellmouth snapping shut in snarl that reverberated throughout the earth. Giles! His pain overwhelmed her. The people in the room rushed to her side. Mouse fell down beside her and whimpered as Priss's pain overloaded her empathic sensibilities.
Sabre clutched at his head and yelled hoarsely as the pain ripped through him, sending him crashing to the floor. He wasn't used to magick, let alone of this magnitude. He felt the earth rejoice, and screamed again.
Nyx threw her head back and wailed, sinking to her knees. She knew Spike and the others were worried. She felt Buffy die, and wept. She had disliked the Slayer, but at least her death was for something worthwhile. As the Hellmouth closed, she started to laugh. Good on ya, blondie.
The three spoke together, eyes snapping open and blazing with unearthly light. "The Hellmouth is shut forever. Hail the Goddess who is born. Slayer, remember us to the Powers That Be. A Slayer falls, and another rises. So mote it be." And then they all fell stunned to the floor.

Faith
Faith jumped when she felt her cell phone vibrate. She pulled it out of her pocket and answered.
"Hello?"
Willow's voice was on the other line, sounding desperately upset.
"Faith, Buffy's gone. She ended... it's over... look... I'm... we're on our way. We've just got to get inside, and then it should be... can you get Amanda, Dawn, Spike and everyone and meet us at the front?"
"Yeah, of course."
Faith hung up, feeling empty. Buffy was gone. She felt like she'd lost a part of herself. Determined not to cry, she found the others and shakily asked them to come meet Willow with her, as she had some news.
