Ashley and Taylor
Ashley had finally pulled away from the Halliwell/Matthews sisters long enough to go looking for the Hansons. Thinking Taylor and Sheldon would still be by the door (even at this time of night) that's where he headed.
He saw the two of them just standing around talking to Harry, and approached.
"Yo Tay!"
"Hey Ash, what's up?" he asked, leaning back against the doorway and resting his foot on it.
"You up for a challenge tomorrow?"
"You mean a fight?"
"He'd kick your ass," Sheldon laughed.
"Yeah, a fight."
Taylor glanced at Sheldon.
"How the hell am I supposed to fight you Ash, and win fairly?" Taylor frowned.
"I don't know. Bring a baseball bat."
"Yeah, and if I knock you into a coma I get blamed. No thanks."
Ashley shrugged.
"What about you Sheldon?"
"Rack off."
"Mr Greyson, I hardly think it's fair to ask someone to fight when they have no physical power," Harry spoke up with a grin.
"Would you go against me?" he raised his eyebrows.
"No, I'll be busy all day. Just like these two should be."
Taylor groaned.
"And keep your eyes off the girls tomorrow, ok?" Sheldon grinned.
"Sheldon, you're thinking of yourself. Please don't get us mixed up, for Christ's sake."
"Watch your language," Harry warned.
"Sorry."
"Why don't you challenge Ike?" Sheldon grinned.
"Ike?"
"Why, think you'd lose?" Taylor grinned slyly.
Ashley straightened his jacket.
"All have you know, Ike is very good at controlling my power, ok? Well, if I let him," he grinned, "but he's getting used to playing with me."
"Ok, too much information man," Sheldon insisted, cringing.
Ashley whacked him over the head as Taylor laughed.
"You could always go against Zac."
"He'd probably burn me to a crisp."
"Well do you want someone to go against or not? What about..." Sheldon looked around, then grinned.
"What about Katie?"
Ashley shuddered.
"She's already challenged me. Sunday at 2 o'clock."
"You're serious?" Taylor raised his eyebrows.
"Yes I'm serious!"
"You know, I sent a bird to find you this morning, and she said you were already fighting with her..."
"Fighting with her? She slapped me."
"Oooooooh, Ash got slapped," Sheldon grinned.
"You could probably get her disqualified for that. That's still assault," Taylor grinned at Harry.
Harry rubbed his chin.
"Sam must have seen it through the monitors, he should have spoken up about it," he frowned a little, "she should be disqualified from at least one event. We have a very low tolerance for assault. Want me to check it out?"
Ashley grinned, "could you?"
Harry nodded.
"There's not many people coming through the door. Taylor, if someone comes send the sparrow after me."
Taylor nodded, before he left. Ashley couldn't contain himself for much longer.
"This is so cool!"
"Hey, just becaus she might be out, doesn't mean you'll win," Taylor pointed out.
"I have to win! We've won every year!" Ashley exclaimed, "I've gotta tell Ike!"
And with that, he bounded off. Taylor and Sheldon shook their heads in amusement.
Isaac and Miette
Isaac and Miette were watching the Conjuring.
"That is so cool," Miette remarked softly as Sharon created the teddy bear. "I had no idea we could do such things."
Isaac smiled.
"You'll be surprised."
"I've been surprised enough."
Then Isaac felt a tap on his shoulder.
Ashley
"Ike! Guess what?!" Ashley exclaimed, his face totally lit up.
"You know Katie? You know Katie? That red-haired chick? That bitch that beat us last year at the sculptures? That one? I got into a fight with her earlier - which she started - and she turned her hand into leather and slapped me. She might be disqualified!"
Isaac and Miette
Isaac nodded slowly.
"I see. So rather than pitting your prowess against hers, you're going to be sneaky and underhanded," he teased.
"Who's Katie?" Miette asked.
"She's a girl Ash competed against last year," Isaac explained. "She and her friend kicked our butts at the shapeshifter sculputures."
"Oh, I see."
Ash
"I'm not being sneaky and underhanded! In fact I didn't even think about it!" he exclaimed, jumping up and down a couple of times on the spot.
"I was talking to Taylor, Sheldon and Harry, Taylor mentioned some bird had seen me fighting with her, I said she slapped me, and Harry took it from there. He's going to check it with Sam the surveillance guy right now!"
He couldn't help but chuckle.
"Dude, we have to win for sure this year!"
Isaac
"You don't hear me complaining," Isaac answered, rubbing his hands together gleefully. "But in the meantime, I want to watch the conjuring. Jess is on soon."
Ash
"Oh cool," Ashley grinned, "well, I won't keep you. I might go find Piper before the dinner starts."
He jumped up and down again.
"I met Piper on the net, and I met her and her sisters today. I'll see you at dinner man."
He winked, then rushed off to find Piper, Paige and Phoebe again.
