25 December 2003 - The warning label

Joy and Michelle

Rachel

Rachel came over after lunch, like she had planned. And she had a surprise in store. She found a shop that sold custom bumper stickers. So when Zac hugged her, she attatched the bumper sticker to his back. It said. "Ride At Your Own Risk."

She tried so hard to keep a straight face.

Zac

Zac eyed Rachel suspiciously.

"What?" he asked. "What's so funny?"

Rachel and Jessica

"Nothing," Rach said, innocently. Jess walked in, and burst out laughing.

Zac and Isaac

"What is it?" Zac demanded. "I know it's not nothing! Ike!"

Zac went off to look for Isaac.

"Ike! What's so funny?"

Isaac blinked.

"Huh?"

Rachel and Jessica

Rach and Jess high-fived.

"You rock," Jess said.

"Yes, yes I do," Rach agreed.

"Chica-dude, let's, like, I dunno, like, eat something," Rach said. "I'm hungry."

"You're always hungry," Jess pointed out.

"I'm pregnant, I'm supposed to be hungry all the time. Seriously, though. I thought your brother persiously needed a warning label. Although, I really wanted to put it somewhere. . . lower," Rachel said, winking.

"EWWWWWW!" Jess squealed. "Dude! That's my brother! YUCKY!" They followed Zac, to see how he would react when he discovered the label.

Zac and Isaac

"What are they laughing at?" Zac asked. "Is my hair green? Do I have spinach in my teeth? (Which would be a good trick seeing as I haven't eaten any spinach in ages)."

"Hmm..." Isaac said. "Stand still."

Isaac walked around Zac slowly. He snickered.

"What? What?"

Isaac pulled off the bumper sticker and held it out to he could read it.

"Hey!" Zac objected. "Rachel!"

Rachel and Jessica

Rachel giggled insanely. "Merry Christmas Zac. You've now rated a warning label. Although. . . I did wanna put it lower." Jess covered her ears.

"Not hearing this!"

Zac and Isaac

"I'm with Jess on that one," Isaac agreed.

Zac wagged a finger at Jess.

"You'll get yours," he said.

Then he folded the bumper sticker in half so that it couldn't be stuck on him again.

Rachel

Rachel giggled, and patted her purse. "There's more were that one came from!" she laughed. "You have to admit, Zac, you're definitely 'Ride At Your Own Risk' material."

Zac

"Yeah, well, I'll have you know that there's only one person who I'm going to let risk that and she's my fiancé," Zac said stubbornly. "And seeing as she's probably not coming over today, she ain't gonna see it. So there."

Rachel

Rachel giggled. "I'm hungry. Is there anything to eat?"

Zac

"Not for mean practical jokers like you," Zac declared.

Rachel and Jessica

Rachel pouted. "Not even for the mother of your child?" she asked, quiverring her bottom lip. Jess giggled.

Zac

"Get in line," Isaac joked.

Zac poked his tongue out at him.

"Yeah, yeah, you're all so very funny," he said.

Jessica

"Seriously now," Jess asked, "how many children HAVE you sired? Including the ones who aren't born yet?"

Zac

"Weeellllll," Zac said. "There's Julie's B'E and Tom. Nyx's Saku. Dez is due in March, and of course, Rach, in June."

"Wow..." Isaac mused. "Five kids in less than a year... unless you or Dez have multiples."

Rachel

Rachel narrowed her eyes. "If I have more than one baby in June, Zac will never be reproducing again," she said, glaring fiercely.

Zac

Zac smiled at Rachel sweetly.

"What can I say, Rach? You rode at your own risk."

Rachel

"You weren't baring a warning label at that time, and therefore I could sue you for failure to caution me against the risks," Rachel said pointedly. "But in the meantime, lead the way to the food," she said, placing one hand on her rumbling stomach.

Zac

"No you couldn't," Zac replied. "Because it wasn't my fault, it was the condoms fault for breaking."

Rachel and Jessica

"Ew ew ew ew ew ew ew!" Jess replied, putting her hands over her ears. "I am SO not hearing this!" Rachel grinned.

"Come on, don't you wanna know ALL the dirty little details? I thought that's what girlfriends were for?"

"EW! That's my BROTHER! EW EW EW EW EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!"

Zac and Isaac

"Yeah, I'm with Jess on that one," Isaac said. "Don't really want to know. We have enough evidence as it is of Zac's... activities."

Zac poked his tongue out at him.

Rachel and Jessica

"All right, all right. No more talking. Only eating. The pregnant girl is hungry, so let's go," Rach said. SHe grabbed Jess and Zac and pulled them to the kitchen.

Zac and Isaac

And so they enjoyed their lunch. And despite Rachel's request, they did continue talking. Arguing. Discussing. WHatever.
