Isaac
"Ikey!"
Mackie jumped on Isaac's bed.
"Wake up Ikey!"
Isaac blinked at him.
"What is it Mackie?" he asked sleepliy.
"It's Christmas! Get up! Get up!"
"Wanna sleep - "
"No! Not time for sleeping! Time for presents! Up, up, up!"
"Okay, okay, I'm getting up," Isaac said reluctantly.
Just five more minutes, that's all he - okay no he wanted at least another hour, but that wasn't the point.
Zoe
"Christttttmaaaaas!" Zoe cried happily, jumping up and down as she joined Mackie and Isaac.
"Wake up! Ikeyyy!"
Isaac
Isaac muttered something.
"Whatcha say?" asked Mackie.
"Nothing, nothing."
Isaac sat up and yawned.
"Okay, I'm up."
Mackie wasn't entiredly convinced, grabbed Isaac's arms, flew up in the air and dragged him out of the room.
Jessica
Jessi heard her little brother and sister jumping around and squealing, so she decided to get up. It was good to be home again, as long as Diana stayed off her back.
"Merry Christmas!" She said, giving everybody hugs, reserving a big bear hug for Ike.
"Nobody else is up yet?" she questioned.
Zac and Isaac
Zac opened his eyes and stared at the floor.
"Hey, it's Christmas..." he said softly.
Then he shot up.
"Yay! Christmas!" He grinned.
He opened up the door to Saku's room and peered inside.
"You up yet Saku?"
He was answered with a meow. Zac scooped him up.
"Today we're going to celebrate your first Christmas," he said, carrying him upstairs.
"Hi Jess," Isaac yawned.
"Jessi! It's Christmas!" Mackie yelled.
Jessica
"I know! Mackjie, why don't you and Zoe wake up Mom and Dad. Gently," Jess said. "I think Ikerz and I need some coffee before we really want Christmas. I'm gonna go down and put on a pot." Jess went downstairs, and headed for the kitchen, spotting Zac and Saku.
"Tigger!" she said. hugging him. "Merry Christmas, bro. You too Saku," she placed a kiss on his little kitten head.
Zac and Isaac
"Merry Christmas," Zac grinned.
Isaac yawned again, sat down, and set his telekinesis to work.
Saku mewed, wriggled and Zac set him down.
"And what do you want for breakfast this morning, Saku?"
Mackie bounded over to their parents door with Zoe and knocked on it loudly.
Jessica
Jess put on a pot of coffee, and turned to the fridge, grabbing a strawberry yogurt.
"I love Christmas," Jess said smiling. She just wished Tulsa got more than the teeniest tiniest amount of snow.
"Zac, Rach is coming over after she does Christmas with her dad. Is Faith coming over?"
Zac and Isaac
"Is she?" Zac asked in surprise, pausing briefly in his prepreation of Saku's chicken and milk.
Saku mewed again, then changed to human.
"Up!" He said, holding out his arms.
Zac smiled, picked him up and sat him down on a stool.
"I don't know if Faith's coming over. I invited her, but yeah... her and Mom..." Zac trailed off.
"She'll come around," Isaac said.
He started cooking bacon and eggs.
Jessica
Jess smiled. "She's doing better. But she still hurts a lot. I think it's the baby's power. It's gotta be something violent." Jess nodded. She ate her yogurt, and then smelled what Ike was cooking. "Oh, that smells good, Ikerz." She looked at the pan while pouring herself a cup of coffee.
Isaac and Zac
"Yes, yes it does," Isaac agreed.
Zac battered his eyelids at him.
"You want some, don't you?"
Zac nodded.
"Okay, but stop doing that. It's disturbing."
Zac chuckled.
"You want some too Jess?"
Jessica
"Mmm yes," she sighed. "This feels good, everyone back together for the holidays."
Avery
Avery yawned as she stepped into the kitchen.
"Morning all, merry Christmas."
She had arrived back home from the station late the night before.
Jessica
"Avie! Merry Christmas," Jess said, getting up to give her sister a hug. "Did you sleep well?"
Avery
Avery hugged Jess back and then moved to sit down.
"Mmm, really well, thanks."
She grinned at Isaac.
"Could I grab some too?"
Isaac and Zac
"Sure," Isaac replied.
"Merry Christmas Avie!" Zac said.
Mackie opened the door when there was no answer and pounced of their parents bed.
"Wake up! It's Christmas!"
Avery and Zoe
"Merry Christmas Zachary."
Avery grinned at her brother.
Zoe followed Mackenzie into the room and pounced.
"WAKE UP! SANTA CAME!"
Jessica
Jess giggled as she heard her little brother and sister from upstairs. "They're antsy. I think they want to open the gifts. I remember when Avie was like that, when she was little." Jess grinned. Jess had always been more of a family person than a present person.
She'd rather give things than get them. She dug into the plate Ike had handed her.
"Ikerz, this is soooo good."
Hansons
"I try my best," Isaac replied, telekinetically giving everyone else their bacon and eggs as well.
"Thankys," Zac replied.
Diana rubbed her eyes and looked at her children.
"Mackie... Zoe..."
"Gotta get up Mommy!" Mackie said. "Christmas!"
"Why don't you two go downstairs? We'll meet you down there."
Avery and Zoe
"Tank ya," Avie said, accepting her food, and poking at it with her fork. "Yay, real food, not space station food. Ok, arguably, that's real food, but it's not cooked by Ike."
Zoe jumped off the bed.
"Ok, mommy! Come on Mackie!" Zoe exclaimed, grabbing her brother's hand.
"SANTA!"
Walker
"Gosh," Walker rubbed his eyes as he sat up.
"Christmas again so soon."
He leant over and kissed his wife.
"Merry Christmas Di."
Hansons
Diana smiled.
"Merry Christmas, Walker."
Mackie bounded down the stairs with Zoe.
"Oooh I smell bacon!"
Isaac chuckled.
"Yeah," Zac said. "There's no food like food cooked by Ike."
"Zac?"
"Yep?"
"You're not getting seconds."
"Drat."
Jessica
Jess chuckled, scootching her chair closer to Zac, so she could lay her head on her brother's shoulder. She looked at Mackie.
"Are MOm & Dad on their way down?"
Zoe and Avery
"Bacon, bacon, bacon!" Zoe chanted.
"Hmmm, craziness at the Hanson house, something I've missed," Avery said, smiling.
Hansons
"I guess you guys wants some then?" Isaac said.
"Yesss..." Mackie said. "But... pressies..."
"We're waiting for Mom and Dad still. We always open them all when we're together."
"Hey Ike, since you're putting more on..." Zac said.
"Okay, you can have seconds."
"Yay! Hey, this is gonna be weird... Taylor's not here. Of course, we make up for it by having Saku here, but still... weird."
Walker
Walker yawned and rubbed his eyes as he made his way into the bathroom then began downstairs.
"I sure hope you're cooking for everyone, Isaac," he grinned, making his way into the kitchen.
Hansons
"I think something can be arranged," Isaac replied.
More bacon and eggs started cooking and Diana gave him a smile. She remembered the first time Isaac had tried his mind at cooking. She thought it was very kind and considerate of him to continue to do so on the odd occasion.
Mackie bounced around impatiently.
"Hurry up and cook faster food! I wanna open pressies!"
Zac snickered.
"Yeah!" he said babyishly. "I wanna open pressies too!"
Zoe and Avery
"Pressies!" Zoe joined in the chanting with Mackie.
"Zac, it's quiet time," Avery said, nodding. "Or I'll... do something."
Jessica
"Oh, come on, Avie, let 'em have their fun," Jess said, grinning. "Christmas rocks."
Walker
"I would prefer for them to settle down," Walker smiled at Jess, taking his place at the table.
He looked up expectantly, watching Ike's movements.
Hansons
"Done," Isaac said, floating the plates of breakfast in front of their respective eaters.
"Thank you Ike," Diana smiled.
"No problem."
"Bacon!" Mackie shouted.
He stuffed some in this mouth.
"Den pwezziez?" he asked.
"Pressies after breakfast," Isaac smiled. "And don't talk with your mouth full."
"Aww, rats," Zac joked.
