Gwen
Gwen woke up and rubbed at her eyes. She glanced at the computer which was still on and reluctantly sat up from her spot on the couch. She'd gone to the mansion to pick the twins and Faolan up after talking to Mordred, then come home, and taken some sleeping pills and crashed on the couch in front of the TV.
Mordred still didn't know. Xavier had put the block up in her mind, so he wouldn't find out.
Gwen stretched lazily and stood from her place on the couch and went over to the computer and shut it down. She switched the TV off, and went upstairs, and fixed up Eavan and Bryant.
It was still pretty early so Faolan could sleep a bit longer before she'd have to worry about getting him breakfast. She went into her and Mordred's bedroom and grabbed some clothes, then went into the bathroom and showered and dressed in 3/4 jeans and a white long sleeved shirt. She ran a brush through her tangled wet hair, and then flicked it up on her head and left the bathroom, with a final look at her bruised face.
She'd just tell Mordred they were trauma bruises from the fall off the stairs.
It felt bad to be lying to him, but it was easier than telling him the truth.
Gwen took Eavan and Bryant downstairs and into the kitchen, sitting them in their chairs and then calling down for Faolan. She went about making breakfast for everyone.
Mordred, Vortigern and Spike
Mordred ducked out to say goodbye to Vortigern before he left to go home. Bollocks to Scott! He wasn't staying here if Gwen needed him. So Our Fearless Leader could just suck it up. Bastard.
"You're going then?" Vortigern asked
"Yeah. I'll see you probably when you come back to school," Mordred said.
"You know Cyke's gonna be pissed as all hell?" Spike asked.
Mordred snorted.
"And what makes you think I care? See ya, Vort, Spike."
He hugged Vortigern and shook Spike's hand before heading back to his tent to get his stuff. And Scott could bloody well look after that too!
He touched his stuff, concentrated and 'ported home.
"Gwen? I'm back."
Gwen
A faint smile played on Gwen's lips as she heard Mordred's voice. She set Faolan's breakfast in front of him, then went out to see him.
"Hey," she greeted softly.
Mordred
"Hey, love," Mordred said, walking over to her.
He kissed her gently, placing his hands on her hips lightly.
"You alright? Not hurting too bad or anything? How are the kids?"
Gwen
"I'm ok," Gwen said, wondering who she was actually lying for. Herself or for him?
She kissed him back and shook her thoughts away.
"Kids are alright, they're having breakfast in the kitchen. Scott didn't catch you?"
Mordred
"Scott couldn't catch me on a good day. On the absolute bitches of days Tav, Bobby and Julie have been giving him, he didn't have a chance. He'll probably notice when I don't show up for a meal. I left the tent where it was. He'll probably think I'm still sulking," Mordred said.
He traced the curve of her jaw, eyes worried.
"I didn't notice these before you left..."
Gwen
Gwen turned her head slightly and looked at the ground, avoiding his eyes. This was for the best, it really was.
"Oh, they... they um, appeared when I got home... trauma scars and all that."
She knew she was a bad liar, but hopefully this excuse would fool him, as long as he didn't try and get into her head.
Mordred
Mordred frowned slightly and kissed her gently.
"Mmm..."
He wasn't sure if he believed that. But he trusted her...right? No peeking.
"So, what's for breakfast?"
gwen
Gwen kissed him back, somewhat hesitantly. What was wrong with her? This was Mordred, the one person she loved, and he wasn't going to hurt her.
She led him into the kitchen.
"Toast, bacon, eggs, usual."
"Da!" Eavan and Bryant cried happily.
Faolan and Mordred
Faolan waved, mouth occupied with food.
"Hey Dad."
"Hey, you three," Mordred said.
He ruffled Faolan's hair and bent to kiss Eavan and Bryant on their foreheads.
"You being good for your mum?"
Gwen
"Always!" Eavan and Bryant exclaimed.
Gwen served Mordred breakfast and went about making him some coffee.
As long as she kept busy, she wouldn't break.
Mordred
Mordred watched Gwen uneasily. She was hiding something from him...he could tell. What though?
"Ta, love," he said as she served him breakfast.
"And isn't this a step up from Storm's cooking? She might be a powerful mutant, but she sure as hell can't cook."
He started to eat and opened a channel to Faolan.
"Do you know what's wrong, whelp?"
"No. She's afraid and sad and guilty. But I don't know why."
Faolan kept eating his breakfast, eyes downcast.
"Thanks for the heads up anyway, Fao."
Dammit, he knew there was something wrong. Now, how to make her tell him what it was so he could go beat the shit out of it...
Gwen
Gwen smiled slightly.
"Poor people at camp... and it's so hard to be tactful when she can summon lightning to strike you."
She paused thoughtfully.
"Of course... that wouldn't really matter for me..."
Gwen put Mordred's coffee in front of him, then went over to the fridge and pulled out the orange juice. With her back to Mordred, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
Mordred
Mordred got up and put his arms around her waist, resting his head on her shoulder and kissing her neck.
"I know something's wrong...don't you trust me?"
Gwen
Gwen tensed slightly, then relaxed.
"No, I'm ok, and I do trust you. Just... my stomach hurts, that's all."
"And everything else... it's hurting to pretend..."
Mordred
Mordred nibbled slightly on her neck, eyes thoughtful.
"If you say so, love. You know I love you, more then anything. I just want you to feel like you don't need to hide anything from me..."
Dammit, he knew something was wrong. And if he had to guilt her into telling him, he would. And if that failed, he'd take a looksee for himself. No matter how much he hated doing it.
Gwen
Gwen closed her eyes, and willed the tears to go away.
Dammit, it hurt to lie to him, but this was for the best.
"I know..."
She turned around and looked at him.
"I love you too... but I'm ok, really, just a little sore, but I'll manage."
Mordred
"If you say so, love..."
Mordred looked doubtful and kissed her softly.
"Love you."
Gwen
"I love you too."
Gwen kissed him back, then went about cleaning up for Eavan and Bryant.
Gotta keep busy, otherwise I'm going to lose it..."
Tears were already escaping.
Mordred
Mordred walked after her, unwilling to let it rest. He turned her face to him again.
"It can't be nothing if you're crying. Tell me."
Gwen
"It's nothing, I'm just tired and not sleeping, and sore."
Gwen looked away from him, silently begging for him to not make her crack, because he was so close...
Mordred
Mordred smoothed his hands over her upper arms.
"Tell me."
He moved a tendril of hair out of her face and took the contact to move inside her mind. He blinked in surprise.
"You blocked me."
He turned away abruptly, hurt and angry.
Gwen
"You were going to peek?"
Gwen bit her lip and put her hand on Mordred's shoulder.
"I just... it was the right thing, after all, I've been attacked telepathically a few times..."
Mordred
"Don't you trust me?" Mordred said in a low voice.
"What are you hiding, Gwen?"
Gwen
"Nothing, Mordred, please, just let it go, there's nothing wrong," Gwen pleaded, her voice quivering.
"I'm not hiding anything."
Mordred
"If Vort was here, I would be able to break it," Mordred said.
"Dammit, Gwen!"
He turned away, biting his lip and fighting to get his temper under control. Maybe telepaths shouldn't hook up with non-telepaths.
"If there was nothing wrong, you wouldn't be so upset. I'm not stupid."
Gwen
Gwen's tears fell more frequently.
"I know you're not, I just... there's..."
She turned to leave.
Mordred
Mordred grabbed her arm.
"Don't walk away from me, Gwen."
He turned her to face him, expression pained.
"I *love* you. Don't do this."
Gwen
Gwen freaked out when Mordred grabbed her arm roughly.
Nononononononono...
"Don't, no don't! Please, God, no!"
Gwen tried to pull away, not wanting to remember.
"No..."
Mordred
Mordred dropped her arm and backed away, horrified at her reaction.
"Gwen, I'm sorry. God, I didn't mean to..."
Gwen
Gwen wiped her eyes and fled from the kitchen, running upstairs to their bedroom and throwing herself down on the bed, wincing in pain, but somehow not caring.
"God, no..."
Her harsh, racking sobs filled the quiet of the house.
Mordred and Faolan
Mordred rubbed his hand over her face, shocked and frightened by her reaction. He didn't follow her for a few minutes, listening to her weep. Tears started to roll down Faolan's cheeks.
"S'alright, Fao, s'alright. I'll go talk to her, alright?"
Faolan nodded.
"Watch the twins for me. Only be a few minutes."
Mordred went slowly up to their bedroom and sat down on the bed near her.
"Gwen, something is wrong. Tell me, please. I'm begging you, cariad."
Gwen
Gwen cried harder.
"I can't..."
She sat up and buried her head in Mordred's shoulder.
"Because if I say it out loud, then it really happened..."
Mordred
"What, love? What happened?"
Mordred carefully put his arms around her, fearful of upsetting her again.
"If anyone hurt you...I'll hunt them down and kill them with my bare hands. And then I'll kill Scott."
Gwen
Gwen stopped moving and slumped into Mordred's arms.
She'd cried herself to sleep.
Mordred and Vortigern
Mordred held her gently then laid her down on the bed. He pulled the covers over her, and then went downstairs.
"Look after the twins for a bit, Fao."
He 'ported back to Australia.
"I need you, Vort."
Vortigern stood and took Mordred's hand before they 'ported to Mordred's house.
"I need you to help me break the block," he told his twin as they walked up to his and Gwen's bedroom.
"She won't tell me. And I think I need to know."
"Alright," Vortigern said quietly.
He really didn't think this was a good idea. The twins entered the room and sat on either side of Gwen. They put their hands to her head and started to slide past the shield Xavier had set up.
Gwen
Gwen whimpered slightly in her sleep.
She got off the plane, and went through the normal procedures, collected her luggage and went outside to hail a cab. She got into the next free one and then they took off, but they were going in the wrong direction.
Gwen tapped the driver and told him, but he ignored her, and she tried the doors, but they were child locked... eventually he stopped them in an alley and pulled her out of the car. She was screaming and crying, so he hit her a few times... then...
The overwhelming feeling of dirt, trapped beneath her skin. He threw her luggage out of the car and drove off, leaving her to wander home though New York in a dazed state...
Mordred and Vortigern
Mordred's eyes started to glow gold.
"He's a dead man."
"Yes he is," Vortigern agreed, sickened by what they'd witnessed through Gwen's mind.
"And Scott is in for a world of pain," Mordred growled.
"I'm going to F*CKING KILL HIM! THIS IS HIS FAULT!"
Gwen
Gwen woke at the sound of Mordred shouting.
"Oh God, no! No, you didn't see..."
Her shoulders shook.
"He hurt me... and I couldn't stop him... and you weren't here, and..."
Tears rolled down her cheeks.
"And you couldn't know, because then you'd hurt..."
Mordred and Vortigern
Mordred touched her face gently.
"I'm so sorry you thought you couldn't tell me. I'm not hurt. I'm f*cking pissed. I am going to kill them both. This bloody monster, and then I'm going to kill Scott."
"Killing a teacher is probably not a good idea," Vortigern said.
Mordred turned furiously, eyes sparking gold and teeth lengthening.
"You think I care? This wouldn't have happened if he wasn't such a PRICK! I'm going to f*cking castrate him!"
Gwen
Gwen started to cry harder, getting agitated at all the yelling.
"No... it was... I shouldn't have..."
Mordred and Vortigern
"This wasn't your fault," Mordred insisted.
"It wasn't," Vortigern said softly, hugging her gently.
"And believe me, I know exactly how you feel. You feel so dirty, like what could you have done to draw his attention. What you did. But it's never your fault."
Gwen
Gwen's lip trembled.
"It... then I had to lie to you... and I'm sorry..."
She broke off and cried, unable to say anymore.
"And it's still so dirty... I can't... just can't get clean..."
Mordred and Vortigern
Vortigern held her gently and Mordred came closer to put his arms around her and his twin.
"I love you," Mordred said.
"This doesn't change who you are."
Gwen
"MAMA! DA!" Eavan and Bryant wailed helplessly.
"So dirty," Gwen mumbled.
Mordred and Vortigern
"You're not," Mordred insisted.
He looked at his twin.
"I'll go see to the kids. Talk to her for me?"
Vortigen nodded as Mordred got up and went downstairs to soothe the twins.
"God, didn't think I'd have to talk about this again..."
Vortigern shook his head slightly.
"You know when we all got kidnapped and taken to the lab?"
Gwen
Gwen nodded slowly.
"Yeah..."
Vortigern
"Ok..."
Vortigern took a breath, carefully not looking at her.
"I was gangraped."
Gwen
Gwen wiped her tears away.
"It's... people like you don't deserve that treatment..."
Vortigern
"People like us don't," Vortigern corrected her.
"Spike killed them for me while I watched. Mordred would do the same for you, if you want. He'll kill him anyway, no doubt about that. Convincing him not to kill Scott is going to take some doing."
Gwen
"I just..."
Gwen looked away.
"It wasn't Scott's fault, it was..."
Vortigern
"It wasn't your fault," Vortigern insisted.
"I didn't ask for it, you didn't ask for it. Some people get off on forcing others, being cruel and hurting them. It has nothing to do with who we are."
Gwen
Gwen nodded slowly.
"I... I need Mordred."
Mordred and Vortigern
"He'll calm down the kids and be right up," Vortigern said softly.
"Anytime you want to talk...I'll be glad to. I couldn't talk to the counselor about it, because unless you've been there...you have no idea what it feels like. If it wasn't for Spike and Mordred, I would've gone insane. Don't shut us out. We love you too."
Mordred entered slowly, glimmers of gold still chasing through his blue eyes.
"Gwen..."
Gwen
Gwen closed her eyes and turned her head away.
No more love...
"Thanks, Vort... I..."
She wanted to say she loved them too... but she just couldn't.
What was love anyway?
Mordred
Mordred crawled onto the bed and took her hands in his.
"I'm so sorry...I should have been there."
Gwen
"It wasn't your fault," Gwen said quietly.
A tear fell from her eye onto his hand and she stared at it for a long moment.
"I'm sorry I blocked you... I just didn't want you to know and be angry at me."
Mordred
Mordred looked shocked.
"How could I be angry at you?"
He ran his fingers down the edge of her face gently.
"It *wasn't* your fault. And when I find the bastard, I'll bring you back his heart on a plate. How's that?"
Gwen
Gwen leaned her head on Mordred's shoulder.
"Just need it to stop hurting and stop being dirty..."
Mordred and Vortigern
"I wish I could just take it from you," Mordred said.
"I'm so sorry..."
"It does, eventually," Vortigern said.
"Little comfort now, when it's so fresh..."
Gwen
Gwen nodded and reached over and squeezed Vortigern's hand.
"But it never truly goes away, does it?" she asked softly.
Mordred and Vortigern
"No," Vortigern said softly.
"But it stops hurting so much after a while..."
Mordred buried his head in his hands. Both times, he'd failed.
Gwen
Gwen looked down sadly, then hugged Mordred.
"Don't be sad," she whispered.
Mordred
"I can't help it," Mordred said.
"I... I love you so much and I hate to see you in so much pain. And I can't really do anything about it."
Gwen
Gwen sighed and kissed him softly.
"But I'll survive... it's what I do."
Mordred
"God, I love you."
Mordred kissed her back.
"Would you like to help me kill him?"
Gwen
"I can't see him... not face to face... not while he's still in my head."
Gwen looked out the window.
"I'm sorry."
Mordred
"I'll tape it. And when you want to, you can watch it," Mordred said.
"I'll kill anyone who hurts you, you know that. Isn't Kate so wonderfully dead?"
Gwen
Gwen let herself slide into Mordred's arms and she kissed his neck softly.
"I know... I love you..."
She closed her eyes.
"It just hurts right now."
Mordred and Vortigern
"S'ok, love. I got ya."
Mordred hugged her gently, kissing her forehead.
Vortigern watched them then started to ease off the bed.
Gwen
Gwen reached for Mordred's hand and entwined their fingers.
"Don't leave me," she pleaded quietly.
Mordred
"I won't," Mordred said.
"I'll have to take Vort back before he's missed. I'll kill Scott then."
Gwen
"Don't kill Scott... he didn't know that I was going to be... to be... to be..."
Gwen stopped talking and bit her lip.
Mordred and Vortigern
"He's a walking dead man," Mordred said darkly.
Vortigern paused at the door.
"Don't kill him."
"Ok, I'll just hurt him a real lot," Mordred said.
"And make him *wish* he was dead."
Gwen
Gwen straightened up.
"I need another shower..."
Mordred
"Right..."
Mordred kissed her again.
"I'll take Vort back while you do that."
Gwen
Gwen nodded and hopped off the bed.
"Thank you both."
She padded into the bathroom and closed the door and locked it, letting the tears come again.
Mordred, Vortigern and Faolan
Mordred took Vortigern's hand and 'ported his twin back to the campsite. He staggered for a bit, a lot of his energy taken out of him by the multiple trips.
"You be alright?" Vortigern asked.
"Yeah, I'll be fine," Mordred said.
"I'm going to find Scott."
"Don't kill him."
"I won't. Not where there are witnesses anyway."
"*Don't* kill him."
"Fine."
Mordred walked off to find Scott.
Faolan soothed the twins, purring anxiously.
He hoped everything would work out.
Gwen
Gwen had a quick, scalding hot shower, then dressed in baggy white sweat pants and a long sleeved black shirt. She went downstairs and started to clean up from breakfast, turning and pausing to pat Faolan's head softly.
"Thanks," she said.
Faolan
"S'ok," Faolan said.
"Hope Dad is alright...he was *very* angry."
The kitten nodded solomnly.
Gwen
"He'll be alright," Gwen promised.
She lifted Eavan and Bryant up.
"So, you wanna go watch some TV for a bit?"
Faolan
"Yes," Faolan said.
"Cartoons?"
Gwen
"Of course, anything you like."
Gwen led them all out to the living room and switched the TV on to the cartoon channel.
Hopefully Mordred would be home soon.
Faolan
Faolan snuggled up to her, purring and sending soothing vibes out to everyone.
"He'll be home soon."
Gwen
Gwen nodded and leaned down to kiss his forehead.
"I know... has anyone ever told you that you're exceptionally wise for your age?"
Faolan
Faolan looked at her and smiled.
"One is what one is."
He purred steadily.
Gwen
Gwen smiled faintly and put her arm around him.
Mindlessly watching cartoons would help.
Faolan
Faolan curled up into her, playing with the twins and watching cartoons.
"Love you, Gwen. Cos Dad loves you so much he can't help himself sometimes."
Gwen
Gwen smiled.
"Love you too, Fao."
She paused.
"Can't help himself do what?"
Faolan
"Can't help feeling so much," Faolan said.
"He gets tangled up sometimes."
Gwen
Gwen's smile widened slightly.
"I love him too... very much... I love all of you."
"YAY!" Bryant and Eavan chorused.
Faolan
Faolan giggled and leant up to kiss her cheek.
"See, we all love you too!"
Gwen
Gwen lifted Faolan into her lap and bounced him on her knee slightly.
"Love," Eavan and Bryant said solemnly.
"With all my heart," Gwen told all of them. She kissed the top of Faolan's head.
Faolan
Faolan wrapped his arms around her neck.
"Can I call you 'Mum' sometimes?"
Gwen
Gwen hugged him close.
"You can call me that whenever you like, Fao."
Faolan
"That's nice," Faolan said.
"Cos Mama isn't around very often, and I love you too."
Gwen
Gwen nodded.
"Your mom's just really busy now, but hey, at least you have your Da."
She ran a hand through his hair.
"And your brothers and sisters."
Faolan
"Yep," Faolan agreed.
He purred louder.
"Can we invite Sera 'n Saku round sometime? And Kanny? Vic's somewhere with her dad though. He was scary."
Gwen
Gwen nodded.
"We can invite them anytime you like."
She thought for a second.
"Kanika's at the mansion, so that's easy... for Saku, we can either go to Tulsa for a bit, or have Zac come here, and Serafina will be easy, we'll just drop in at LA."
Faolan
"Yay," Faolan said.
"Sera's dad is glowery."
Gwen
Gwen laughed lightly.
"He's a bit broody, yes. But he's a good man."
Faolan
"Kanny's dad is scary too. He's so grrrrrr."
Faolan nodded.
"Saku's dad was nice."
Gwen
"Saku's dad is quite normal compared to the others."
Gwen leaned her head back against the couch.
Faolan
"Yes."
Faolan leant his head against her shoulder.
"Do you think he's really gonna kill people? He was angry enough to."
Gwen
Gwen ran her hands through his hair again.
"I don't know, Fao. I don't know if I've seen him this angry."
Faolan
"He was angry and guilty and shamed and sad and messed up," Faolan said.
The kitten sighed.
"It was very loud."
Gwen
Gwen nodded.
"When he gets back, we'll work it out."
Faolan
"Yes."
Faolan leant up and kissed her again, before turning to watch the cartoons again.
Gwen
Gwen smiled and closed her eyes as she rested her head against the back of the chair.
She needed Mordred again.
Faolan and Mordred
Faolan looked up as Mordred appeared, lip cut and eye bruised. He was still shaking with anger.
"F*cking Logan. The f*ck it was any of his business."
Gwen
Gwen gently nudged Faolan off her lap and went over to Mordred.
"You're hurt... sit down... Fao, can you get the first aid kit?"
Mordred and Faolan
"Yes."
Faolan scampered off to get it.
"I'm fine, love," Mordred said.
He winced slightly as he moved his hand.
"Punching Wolverine is like hitting a metal wall."
Gwen
Gwen led Mordred over to the chair.
"Love, you shouldn't've done that."
Mordred and Faolan
"Maybe not."
Mordred sat down heavily, rubbing his bleeding knuckles. Faolan came back with the first aid kit and offered it to Gwen.
Gwen
"Thank you, Fao."
Gwen opened it and pulled out some anti septic and gauze, and dabbed Mordred's cuts gently with it.
Mordred
Mordred hissed slightly as it stung his cuts.
"I..."
Gwen
"What's wrong?"
Gwen kissed his cheek.
Mordred
"I got expelled. I think."
Mordred sighed.
Gwen
"Mordred, you shouldn't have done that, it wasn't worth it."
Gwen sighed.
"Can you move your hand at all?"
Mordred
"Yeah, hurts though," Mordred admitted.
"Think I must have jarred the bones, sprained my wrist or something."
Gwen
Gwen nodded.
"We can go to the hospital if it gets really bad."
She paused.
"I'm booked in for... just a check up."
She shook her head slightly and lifted a bandage, and as carefully as she could, she bandaged up Mordred's hand and wrist.
Mordred
"Right, right..."
Mordred watched her.
"It was worth it though. I broke Scott's nose."
He grinned slightly.
"Worth it just to see the look on his face."
Gwen
Gwen nodded and kissed his forehead.
"But you're expelled... spose that doesn't matter, you're at the end of your school life anyway..."
Mordred
"Yeah."
Mordred rotated his wrist slightly.
"Not like I was ever that good a student anyway. And I *was* going to celebrate leaving school by punching Scott in the face anyway."
Gwen
Gwen smiled faintly.
"Do you need to lie down or anything?"
Mordred
"Nah, I'll be alright."
Mordred pecked her on the lips.
"How are you feeling?"
Gwen
"Like something gross crawled inside me and died."
Gwen decided to be blunt.
"But I'll be ok."
Mordred
"That's good, that you'll be alright," Mordred said.
"I love you. You're beautiful and precious, and I'm going to kill him slowly and painfully. Might ask Spike for some advice."
Gwen
Gwen caressed his face gently.
"I love you too. Thank you..."
Mordred
"The least I can do," Mordred said softly.
He turned his head to kiss her fingers.
"Oh god, Gwen..."
Gwen
"What's wrong?"
Gwen peered at him with sad eyes.
Mordred
"I just...haven't we suffered enough? Haven't you gone through enough already?"
A tear slipped down Mordred's cheek.
"God, I love you so much..."
Gwen
Gwen lifted her hand and wiped his tear away gently.
"I love you too..."
She kissed him gently.
"We'll be ok... I'll live, Mordred."
Mordred
"I know," Mordred said.
"But he won't. Rapists are the scum of the earth."
Gwen
Gwen nodded.
"Agreed."
She paused.
"Are you sure you're ok?"
Mordred
"No more then you are," Mordred said.
"How about we stay in today? Watch some movies, order food in. I can start hunting tomorrow."
Gwen
Gwen nodded.
"Could you..."
She thought for a second.
"Could we do this after Christmas? I just don't want us to have that ruined."
Mordred
"Alright, love, anything you want," Mordred said.
"I'll hold off till then."
Gwen
"Thank you."
Gwen shuddered involuntarily.
"I'll put Eavan and Bryant down for a nap."
She stood and picked up the kids and headed upstairs.
Mordred and Faolan
"Alright."
Mordred wiped his hand across his eyes angrily. Faolan put his hands on Mordred's knees and leant his head across them.
"We'll be alright."
"I hope so, Fao, I hope so."
Gwen
Gwen put Eavan and Bryant into their cots and watched them for a few moments, tears sliding down her cheeks.
She hastily wiped her eyes and glanced in the direction of the shower. She shuddered and went to go have another shower, burning herself under the hot spray and scrubbing at her skin again.
Faolan and Mordred
Faolan went off to play with his toys and Mordred walked slowly up to his and Gwen's room. He opened the door, then closed it behind him.
He went to the bathroom where he could hear water running and opened the bathroom door.
Gwen
Gwen sat in the corner of the shower, knees against her chest, crying quietly, her body red raw.
Mordred
"Gwen, love..."
Mordred entered the bathroom and toed his boots and socks off, before pulling his shirt over his head. He slid into the shower with her, ignoring the fact that his jeans were getting soaked as he pulled her gently into his arms.
Gwen
Gwen leaned into Mordred, and buried her head into his shoulder, crying harder.
"I can't get clean," she whispered sadly.
Mordred
"You're clean," Mordred insisted.
"You're pure. You didn't do anything to deserve it, and it's not your fault."
Gwen
Gwen's shoulders shook with grief.
"I just want to feel something else... help me, please..."
Mordred
Mordred tilted her head up and kissed her slowly.
"I love you."
Gwen
"I love you too..."
Gwen kissed him back, closing her eyes.
Mordred
"Always."
Mordred kissed her again.
"You're mine."
Gwen
"Yours," Gwen agreed.
She hugged him and kissed his neck.
Mordred
"Believe me when I say I love you," Mordred said.
He ran his fingers gently over her bruises, then dropped his head to kiss them tenderly.
Gwen
"I do..."
Gwen took a deep breath.
"I love you."
Mordred
"No matter what happens, you'll always be my Gwen," Mordred said.
He kissed her again.
Gwen
"Promise?" Gwen asked fearfully.
She kissed him back and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Just make it go away..."
Mordred
"Anything you want," Mordred said softly.
He placed his hands on her hips and pulled her into his lap.
Gwen
Gwen leaned her head against Mordred's shoulder and sighed, then lifted her lips to his and kissed him deeply.
"Love you..."
Mordred
Mordred kissed her back, placing his hands carefully around her waist.
"Love you too."
Gwen
Gwen hesitated for a second, then reached down and flicked at his nipple rings.
"Just wanna feel something else," she said softly.
Mordred
Mordred gasped then moaned.
"We don't have to...only if you're sure."
God, he wanted her.
Gwen
Gwen nodded.
"I'm sure."
She slid her hand down and rubbed him through his pants.
Mordred
"Oh god..."
Mordred's head fell back against the shower wall as he rubbed her stud gently.
Gwen
Gwen moaned softly and kissed him softly.
"Please, I need you inside me..."
Mordred
"Let's get out of the shower," Mordred whispered to her.
He reached up and turned the water off and then 'ported them both to their bedroom. He slid his hands down her body, kissing her deeply before he started to take his jeans off.
Gwen
Gwen nodded.
She whimpered when Mordred's mouth left hers.
Mordred
Jeans dropped in a sodden heap on the floor, Mordred returned to kissing her. They landed on the bed and he slid his hands down her to rub her gently.
"Whatever you want, however you want, love."
Gwen
"I just want you," Gwen whispered, kissing him again.
"Please don't leave me..."
Mordred
"Never, oh god, never," Mordred promised.
"I love you, Gwen. Could never leave you."
He kissed her gently and desperately.
Gwen
A tear slid down Gwen's cheek as she reached down and stroked him softly.
"I need you..." she whispered.
Mordred
Mordred moaned, arching up into her hand.
"Probably best...if you're on top. I don't want to hurt you..."
Gwen
Gwen nodded and moved so she was on top.
She closed her eyes for a second, then reached down and kissed him softly, and sank down over his length.
Mordred
"Oh god, Gwennnnnnnn," Mordred moaned.
He settled his hands on her hips and leant up to kiss her briefly, before taking her nipple into his mouth.
Gwen
This was right... this felt right, and she could forget...
Gwen moved slowly over him, increasing her tempo.
"Love you..."
Mordred
"Love you too, cariad," Mordred said.
He rubbed over her stud gently.
Gwen
Gwen moaned softly, as another tear fell from her eye.
"Just need you... always..."
She leaned down and kissed him.
"Promise me, forever..."
Mordred
"Forever and always," Mordred promised.
"Love you, Gwen."
He kissed her back, nipping lightly at her bottom lip.
Gwen
"Love you too..."
Gwen moved faster and reached down and fondled his balls.
Mordred
Mordred moaned, hips thrusting up into her gently. He rubbed her stud and reached up to caress her breasts with his free hand.
Gwen
Gwen moaned softly, letting her other hand waner up to his chest to tug on his nipple rings.
Mordred
Mordred gasped, back arching slightly.
"God, Gwen!"
Gwen
Gwen closed her eyes as she came.
"Goddddd..."
Mordred
Mordred moaned, feeling her tighten around him. He pulled out her orgasm with his fingers before he came.
"Gwen!"
Gwen
Gwen bent her head and kissed him desperately.
"Missed you..."
Mordred
"Missed you too, love."
Mordred licked along her lips.
"Love you."
Gwen
"Love you."
Gwen slid off him and lay next to him on the bed.
Mordred
Mordred pulled her into his arms and kissed her gently.
"Always, Gwen."
Gwen
"Always..."
Gwen closed her eyes and snuggled into Mordred's side, feeling safer than she had in a long time.
