Gwen
Gwen crawled out of the tent, wincing slightly. She couldn't sleep, she was in too much pain, so she dressed in jeans and a long sleeve black shirt, and headed into town for a walk around, and maybe a drink.
After being gone for a few hours, mindlessly wandering, she decided to head back. As she walked into the campsite, she came face to face with the very unimpressed face of Scott.
"Hey, you're up late," Gwen decided to go for the joking approach.
Judging by his look that was a big mistake.
Scott
Scott gave her a long look.
"Gwen, you're not supposed to be wandering around at all hours of the night," he scolded. "You may not be a student, but you should at least try to set a good example."
Gwen
"Couldn't sleep."
Gwen folded her arms across her chest.
"And I didn't take anyone with me, and no one knew I was gone, so there's no big deal."
Scott
"I knew you were gone," Scott replied. "Look, I'm sorry Gwen, but I'm going to have to ask you to go home. This is not the first incident."
Gwen
Gwen stared at him angrily.
"Scott, in case you hadn't noticed, I'm old enough to look after myself... this is so unreasonable."
She rolled her eyes.
"Fine, whatever."
Scott
"I'm well aware that you can take care of yourself. My concern is the effect your actions have on the students," Scott said firmly. "You're neither student nor teacher here, Gwen."
Gwen
"Yeah, and you're not much of one either."
Gwen shook her head and raised an eyebrow.
"Is that it? Can I go pack now?"
Scott
Scott gestured towards her tent.
"You'll probably be more comfortable at home," he said.
Gwen
"Whatever."
Gwen walked past him and crawled into her tent, wincing slightly. She looked around and started to toss her clothes into her bag.
Mordred
"Gwen, love, what's wrong?" Mordred said, sitting up.
"Why are you...packing?"
Gwen
"Ah, well our fearless leader is sending me home."
Gwen zipped her bag with a flourish.
"Because I went out for a walk and he caught me. That and I'd be more 'comfortable' at home."
