Michelle

Hunter, Tate and Ivan

"Tate!" Hunter exclaimed, giving her a hug. "Hey! How you doing?"

Tate smiled broadly.

"I'm great."

"And how are the negocitations coming?"

"Oh... good..."

"You don't sound very certain," Ivan said.

Tate shrugged.

"Humans are weird..."

"We know. How are they weird?"

"Well... one of their team seems to think we've really got these grotesque bodies and half expects bugs to start crawling out our eyes or something."

"Eww, really?"

"Yes. And it's really, really hard trying to stop myself from doing that," Tate said. "I have to concentrate very hard on the bond I have with the others on our team."

Ivan chuckled.

"It's not funny. It would seriously subotage everything."

"Well, I think it's really good that you're learning to control that part of you," Hunter said. "Me and Oli were really worried that Leroy was going to be wrong."

Tate smiled.

"Thank you, but we're not out of hot water yet. We're having a break over Christmas, but yay, right back into it next year. Oh joy, oh prosper."

"Isn't that the plan? For joy and propsering?" Ivan grinned.

"Uh huh."

"Do they... do they know about the space station?"

"No. And we're not going to tell them. At least, not anytime in the near furture, if at all. Gotta have some secrets."

"Yeah... I think the idea of us having a space station around their planet would make them slightly nervous."

"They're paranoid enough as is it without giving them more ammunition."

"Exactly."

And the three chatted a bit more, before moving on to more interesting topics.
