Medea
Alexa paused by the shop and glanced in the windows. She had pass by it numerous times, curious, but never actually walking in.
Medea looked up as Alexa walked in and smiled to herself, knowing.
Alexa looked around, chewing her bottom lip as she eyes all the... stuff in there.
"Can I help you?" asked Medea.
"I, umm, I..." Alexa stammered. "Just... just looking."
"Of course."
It was her. Yes. Medea knew that there was a reason for her coming to Tulsa, and she knew she was now looking at that reason.
"What's bothering you, my dear?"
"Wh-what makes you think something is bothering me?"
"I know these things," Medea said, walking over.
She gazed into Alexa's eyes. Alexa looked away uncomfortably.
"It's a boy."
"What is?"
"The thing that's bothering you."
"That's... that's a rather general thing to say. That could apply to anyone."
"True," Medea smiled. "Well then, let's see what else there is then? This boy... whom you like very much... he is..."
Medea frowned a little.
"Spreading his seed and you feel a little... left out?"
Alexa said nothing. Medea's smile returned. This would work perfectly.
"I think I could arrange something to help you."
"Like... like what?"
Medea trotted back to her counter.
"How about... something to make him all yours for twenty-four hours, and then remember nothing."
"Drug him? Oh I... I couldn't..."
"Well, no one said you had to make up your mind now."
Alexa backed towards the door. Drug him? Drug Zac? That... she... no, that was crazy.
"Go on, sleep on it and come back with your answer."
Yes... leaving this strange shop, and the even stranger woman running it sounded like a very good idea. Alexa started out the door.
"I'll see you tomorrow then, Alexa."
Alexa fled. Medea smiled to herself. She would be back.
Further down the street, Alexa stopped running and glanced back at the shop.
"How did she know my name?"
