Isaac and Zac
"Shh!" Zac hissed. "He's coming!"
Isaac walked up to the house and walked inside. He had forgotten about Taylor, Zac and Sheldon planning a birthday party for him, as it had been a few days now. And a party wasn't exactly on his priority list.
So he really was not suspecting the huge yell of 'Surprise!' as he walked in.
He nearly hit the roof, he jumped so high.
Avery
Avery ran forward and hugged Isaac.
"Happy birthday Ike!"
Isaac and Zac
Isaac stared in shock for a moment, then hugged his sister back.
"Th-thanks," he stammered.
"Oh look," Zac smirked. "We startled him. Ha! And you said it wasn't a surprise party if you knew about it."
Avery and Zoe
Avie turned and poked her tongue out at Zac.
"Don't be mean to Ike."
Zoe nodded and hit Zac as hard as she could. Which wasn't very hard.
"Yeah!"
Isaac and Zac
"Ow!" Zac exaggerated. "My, Zoe, you're getting strong. You're Mighty Girl!"
Isaac chuckled.
"Thanks everyone," he said. "Thanks a lot."
Avery and Zoe
Avery let go of Isaac and went over to harrass Taylor and Mouse.
Zoe grinned cheekily.
"I hurted Zac!" she said proudly to Ike.
Taylor, Sheldon and Ash G
"Well at least he's happy about it," Taylor smiled, wrapping an arm around Mouse and having a drink of kero.
"Don't tell me there's going to be another bully in your family," Sheldon smirked, coming up behind Zoe and tugging gently on her hair.
"If my guess is right, she's going to take after Zac," Ashley raised his eyebrows from nearby.
Isaac and Zac
Isaac smiled at Zoe.
"Yes, yes you did," he said.
"All right," Zac said. "I'm going to have some kero."
"But not too much... I remember what happened last time I had too much."
Avery, Faith and Zoe
Avery frowned.
"Something we don't need, another Zac," she commented.
Zoe stuck her tongue out at her. She turned around and hugged Sheldon.
"Sheldon!"
Faith raised an eyebrow at Zac.
"Underage drinking, tsk tsk."
Sheldon
"Hey, you wanna blame someone? Blame Tay. He insisted on it," Sheldon pointed out, pointed towards where Taylor was drinking, "and he's underage anyway."
He let Zoe go, and ruffled her hair.
"And another Zac could be cool," he raised his eyebrows.
Mouse
"Hey, Ike, happy birthday," Mouse said, smiling at him.
She leaned slightly into Taylor's side.
Fafnir growled softly, dropping to his paws by the front doors and settling into guard.

Faith and Avery
Faith walked over to see Mouse and Taylor.
"Hey Mouse... hey Tay," she said.
"What about me?" Avery pouted.
"What about you?" Faith teased, putting her hands on Avery's shoulders. "Hi Avie."
"Hi!"
Taylor and Ash
"Hello Faith," Taylor smiled, leaning his head on top of Mouse's.
"It's good to see you again. You really need to come and see our new place sometime."
"And how come we haven't been invited?" came Ashley's voice, as he and Mindy appeared.
"Well I could extend the invitation," Taylor grinned, having another drink.
Isaac and Zac
"It's not underage drinking at all," Zac said. "There's no law in America that says you have to be a certain age before drinking kero. There might be on the space station, but there's sure as heck nothing in the USA."
He grinned broadly.
"Thanks Mouse," Isaac said. "Well, you guys have been busy, huh?"
"Yep!"
Mouse
"Hey, Faith," Mouse said.

Faith, Avery and Zoe
"That'd be nice," Faith said. "Anyway, I'm gonna go keep an eye on Zac. See ya."
She waved and went over to Zac.
"Hi you."
Avery went and hugged Mouse carefully.
"Hewo!"
Zoe ran over to Zac and Faith.
"Up?" she asked Faith.
Faith smiled and lifted her up easily.
Zac and Isaac
Zac smiled.
"Hi Faithy," he said.
He took a swig of his kero.
"We need to get Ike drunk," he nodded.
"No you don't," Isaac objected.
Zac smirked.
Taylor and Sheldon
Taylor looked down at Mouse's swollen abdomen, looking worried all of a sudden.
He looked up at Mouse.
"Who was that meant for?"
Sheldon chuckled, having another drink.
"I say we need to get Ike drunk too."
Mouse
"Faith," Mouse said quietly.

She looked a bit sick and put her hand over her stomach, rubbing gently and sending soothing feelings through.
"I think it's because she's a Slayer."

^Itches.^ A plaintive wail.
Faith and Zoe
"Zac, leave your brother alone," Faith said, looking amused. "Not that it wouldn't be fun to get him drunk and take photos of him doing stupid stuff..."
"Yeah, Zac, and Sheldon! Leave Ike alone!" Zoe said.
Zac and Isaac
"Aww, it's so nice to feel loved," Isaac smiled. "Say is Madison here?"
"Why are you sticking up for him?" Zac asked. "He needs to get drunk for once, just for the fun of it."
Taylor and Sheldon
"I seem to remember being told about Ike getting drunk before... and someone interrogating him," Sheldon raised his eyebrows.
He hesitated.
"Ok, now I really wanna get him drunk. I want to ask him some things."
"This is really unnerving..." Taylor began softly, the statement meant for Mouse.
Faith and Zoe
Faith raised an eyebrow.
"Because Ike has put up with a considerable amount from both of us, Zac, and he deserves a night off."
Zoe nodded.
"And I love him, because he is nice! So if you don'ts stop being mean to him, I will bes mean to you!"
Faith grinned.
"Yup, see, what she said. And Ike, Piper made Madison work tonight, because, well, Chrissy's gone... you know, insane... so, she'll be here later."
Mouse
"You're telling me," Mouse murmured back.
"You're not the one they're trying to make tear someone's throat out. Excuse me."
She kissed his cheek affectionately, then headed towards the bathroom.
Taylor and Sheldon
Taylor watched after Mouse, worriedly. He waited for a moment, then followed her.
"Now a good way to start..." Sheldon began, grabbing a nearby glass of kero and holding it towards Ike, "is to take a first sip..."
Zac and Isaac
"Sheldon, I'm not drinking," Isaac said. "I might have had a glass or two tonight, but now sine you and Zac seem so... intent on getting me drunk, I'm going to pass completely."
"Aww," Zac pouted. "Spoilsport."
Taylor and Sheldon
Sheldon frowned and put the glass down.
"Regardless of whether you want to or not, you're going down tonight," he declared.
Taylor knocked on the bathroom door.
"Mouse? Are you ok?"
Mouse
Mouse leant her head against the cool tiles for a moment, closing her eyes.
"I'm fine."
She washed her hands and then opened the door.

Taylor raised his eyebrows, one hand leaning against the doorpost as he blocked the doorway.
"You can't lie to me. You should know that by now," he insisted, "and I can tell you're not fine."
He leant over and kissed her forehead.
"But if you want me to back off, I will."
Isaac and Zac
"Sheldon, you're not getting me drunk," Isaac said pointedly. "Now... what other... Zac?"
"Yes?"
"Is that fairy bread?"
"Yes."
