Miette and Isaac
Isaac was having a shower when Miette suddenly appeared in the bathroom.
"Miette!" Isaac exclaimed.
"Hi sweetie!" Miette said cheerfully. "You'll be happy to know that one of my followers found something!"
"Couldn't it have waited until I was out of the shower?"
Miette paused, blinking as Isaac turned off the taps and reached for a towel. Then she giggled.
"Oh sorry! But they found them, you see... they went to Australia."
"Australia?" Isaac repeated.
Miette nodded.
"Perth even."
"Perth... I have a friend who lives there."
"Oh what a small world! We can stay with him."
"Her actually. Well, for the most part..."
Miette looked confused.
"Her name's Friday. She's half Dath and her power is sex change."
"Oh!" Miette giggled. "Sounds like fun."
"But in any case I don't think we could stay with her. Her house is probably full enough as it is."
"Oh. Oh well. We can still visit. It'll be fun."
"We're rescuing Tay remember?"
"Yeah, yeah... say maybe Friday can turn Craigy-sweetie into a girl!"
Isaac shook his head in amusement as Miette cracked up laughing at the idea. After a couple of minutes she finally sobered.
"Well," she grinned. "When you're ready we'll be on our way Down Under..."
She paused and looked Isaac up and down.
"And Australia isn't the only 'down under' I'd like to see."
An indignant look crossed Isaac's face as Miette turned into light and departed.
