13 October 2003 - Just a little massacre

Tegan and AiMsTeR

Spook

Christina had reconsidered and postphoned Dathton until the Monday.

She shook Christian's shoulder, already ready to go.

"C'mon. Get up."

She left the room to finish packing the last few things into the car.

She fed RK, him twining around her feet and yowling.

The coffee pot whistled and she poured herself out a cup, then Christian. Waiting for his appearance.

She grinned slightly, then settled her face back into a blank mask. She was betting he'd be annoyed about being woken up like that. Well, she could've sent RK into do it.

Christian

Christian sat up as soon as she left the room and yawned.

He grabbed his sunglasses from the nearby table, then got up and made his way to the bathroom.

Finally, he made his way to the table and took the coffee.

"Got some fun ahead of us today or what?" he smiled, bringing the mug to his lips.

Spook

"Ohhhhh, god yeah!"

Christina bounced slightly in her chair, before sipping from her coffee mug, grinning at him.

"It's gonna be peachy keen and a fun day out at the fair, sweetie!"

She snickered.

"Except the screams will be for a significantly different reason..."

Christian

"Oh I don't know..." Christian smiled, closing his eyes as he took in the scent of coffee.

"Some may like it as much as we do. You know how to cut communications?"

Spook

"I," Christina drawled, "have been practicing. But I have, just in case my power decides to go iffy on me, hacked into the databases of all the power suppliers and phonelines. Everything in that town will go offline at 9:00 sharp."

She grinned.

"I even managed to figure out how to damp cellular signals."

Christian

Christian raised his eyebrows.

"Neat. I want to try something with your power, but it can wait. We'll do it after."

He put the mug down and rubbed his hands together.

"Ready to go then?"

Spook

"Yep."

Christina drained her coffee.

"We'll swing back by here to get RK and the last of our stuff...maybe stay the night. Then I want to get far, far away."

She stood, leaving the mug on the kitchen table.

"Let's go."

She walked over to the door, going outside to get behind the front wheel of the car.

Christian

"Always running," Christian rolled his eyes, but followed her out.

He made his way over to the car, opened the back door and got in.

"How far away is it anyway?"

Spook

"I'd rather be a live fox then a dead lion," Christina said.

"Hour away, tops. Less if I speed..."

She turned the car on and started to drive towards Dathton.

They arrived there in a little under 45 minutes and Christina slowed back down to the speed limit.

It was just coming to ten to nine as she drove to the school.

She parked in the teacher's parking lot, near the office. She looked back around at him and grinned.

"Let's go have some fun."

Christian

Christian nodded.

"Disable the powers the second we step in," he insisted, "don't need someone else doing it for me."

He got out and cracked his knuckles, grinned, then headed for the office.

Spook

Christina laughed as she sauntered after him. Damn, but this was gonna be fun.

They stepped inside the office, and Christina blanketed the school.

It was 9:00.

The power cut out abruptly.

Confused voices babbled.

"Ohhhhh...I love this..." Christina whispered, smiling.

The receptionist looked at them, confusion evident on her face.

"Yes? Can I help you?"

Christian

"Hi," Christian smiled, "could we use the PA system for a moment? Or get someone to deliver a message?"

"I'm sorry..." the lady looked even more confused, "do you have a valid reason? The PA is only used for school purposes..."

"Yes, yes, we know..." Christian leant over the counter, "but you know, something's going to happen soon. We just want it to go smoothly, alright?"

Spook

"I'm sorry, but the power doesn't seem to be working..."

"I'm sure I can get it going in a jiffy."

Christina smiled at the lady.

"Try the PA system now."

"Are you a technokinetic?"

"You could say that..."

The office lady fiddled with the PA system controls. "Testing, testing..."

It worked. She turned it off again.

"What did you say you needed it for?"

Christian

Christian raised an eyebrow, again wondering what Christina had done.

"Well, we didn't actually tell you in the first place," Christian scratched his head, "but it's important. We need you or someone else to call an assembly for the students."

"Oh! Is the theatre company performing today? I thought that was this afternoon..."

Christian glanced at Christina.

"Ah... yeah. That's it."

Christian

"We'd better go... unload the truck," Christian winked at Christina, unnoticed.

A sudden crack was heard, and a woman at the back of the room collapsed.

Spook

"Yeah, we should go do that thing..."

"Oh my goodness!" The receptionist tried to peer around Christian and Christina. "What happened?"

"She...fell down."

Christina went over to the woman.

"She's dead!" The hunter said in mock horror.

"Oh my god! I better call an ambulance..."

"Yeah, you do that..."

Christina watched, smirking as the woman tried to use her mobile. Obviously, it didn't work.

"So, does this mean we start now, Chris?"

Christian

"Just don't make oo much noise. It'll scare the kids and teachers."

Christian cracked his knuckles, then leant on the bench again.

"We never got introduced... properly," he smiled at the shocked receptionist.

He moved his sunglasses onto his head so she could see his face.

"Christian Thomas. And you are...?"

Spook

"Quiet as a mouse." Christina grinned and cracked her knuckles.

"Oh, oh my god!" The receptionist's eyes widened in fear.

"And I'm Spook."

One of the woman in the office opened her mouth to scream, and Christina threw a knife into her throat. With a gurgle, she dropped to the ground.

Christian

Christian turned to Christina.

"Do you want to ah... have some fun in here while I go check out the assembly?" he raised his eyebrows, "I'm going to do the kids all at once, but you can have the teachers after."

Spook

"Oh, goody." Christina smiled dreamily.

"I don't really like killing children. They don't understand nearly so well what's going on..."

She walked into the office area and stunned the receptionist with a blow to the jaw before gagging her.

"You go on, have some fun.

The female hunter flipped a knife into her hand.

"And I'll have some fun here."

Christian

Christian shrugged.

"It's not so much fun as it is getting it over with. I hate hurting kids."

He shook his head, then left the administration.

Looking around for a moment, he listened for the voices of children talking and teachers telling them to be quiet, before heading for them.

As he made his way down a walkway, he saw all the children lined up in order of year and class. He smiled slightly, before a woman approached.

"Are you here with the theatre company?"

"Yes. Yes I am."

"Ok. The microphone is onstage if you need it to introduce yourselves. I thought there was going to be a backdrop..."

"Oh sorry, we couldn't get it here. I'm sure the performance will still get the message across."

"Of course. Is there someone else with you?"

"Yes, she's just getting sorted in the administration. She'll be out in a moment."

"Ok well... good luck and have fun."

"Thank you."

Christian smiled as she walked away, then stepped up to the stage.

Spook

Christina played around for a little bit with the gagged woman before slitting her throat. She dragged all the bodies into a small store room and locked it up, so if anyone came into the office, they wouldn't notice anything was wrong.

Unless they saw the large red bloodstains on the floor.

She started to hunt through the halls of the school, making sure everyone had gone to the assembly.

Christian

"Ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls..." Christian began with a smile.

"I and my partner, Christina Terry, will shortly be providing everyone here - especially ourselves - with some great entertainment. Please excuse me while I get set up."

He stood back from the microphone a little and cleared his throat, before looking up again. He moved his sunglasses onto his head, then chuckled a little as he ehard some of the teachers murmuring.

Cracking his knuckles, he didn't even flinch as a loud, sickening 'crack' sounded through the air.

All the children collapsed. Two teachers screamed.

Spook

Christina killed the cleaner but didn't find any teachers.

She strolled into the assembly area and smiled as she saw the lifeless bodies of the children.

"Are we ready to have some fun now, Christian?"

Christian

"Allow me to introduce my partner," Christian began into the microphone again, "though I do use the term reluctantly... Spook."

The teachers gasped, as a couple of parents clung to each other.

"And I..." he smiled, "am Christian Thomas. Your host for this morning."

Spook

Christina grinned, waved and blew kisses.

"Oh, I've wanted to do this for so long."

She stalked from her place where she;d been standing in the doorway to the rest of the school and out more into the open.

"The question is...where do we go from here?"

She smiled as some of them obviously tried to use their powers and failed.

Some of the women were sobbing quietly in fear.

"The smell of fear in the morning...almost better then coffee."

Christian

Christian chuckled.

"They're all yours," he offered, sitting down on the edge of the concrete stage.

Spook

"So..." Christina purred.

"Who should I hurt first? There's so many choices..."

She prowled like a predatory cat towards a small huddle of parents. A man got up and stood protectively in front of his wufe, face drawn with grief.

"You'll do."

Christina kicked out, sending her bladed foot deep into his stomach and twisting.

Christian

Christian watched, smiling slightly.

He saw the woman that had spoken to him earlier, and caused one of her lungs to collapse. He might keep her alive for a while.

"Just work your way around in a circle or something. Did you check the rest of the school?"

Spook

"Yes, I did. Just a cleaner. I snapped his neck."

Christina twisted her foot again, sending the blade deeper as the man wailed in agony.

"No one else. Everyone's here."

She withdrew her foot and the man sank to the ground, moaning.

Christina went onto the next person.

Christian

Christian nodded, as he gazed around at the teachers.

He couldn't help but get the feeling he'd missed something...

Oh well. He watched Christina for a moment, then lay down on the stage - keeping his eye out for anyone who'd try to run.

Spook

Christina systematically tore her way through the adults present.

The ones who actually tried to stand up to her spent a lot more time dying then the others.

They bunched together like frightened sheep against the wolves as Christina calmly picked them off.

"Sure you don't want to join in?" she asked Christian.

Christian

Christian pursed his lips, looking down the walkways.

"I might actually give the school the twice-over," he said, getting up, "you can never be too careful, after all."

He glanced at the teachers, then left the stage.

Spook

Christina shrugged.

She went back to killing.

One of the remaining teachers made a run for it, but Christina caved her skull in with a kick.

The others were easy prey after that.

Covered in blood, Christina went to the bathrooms and washed some of it off.

Then she went to join Christian in making sure there was no one else alive in the school.

Christian

Christian entered classroom after classroom, and occasionally went through teachers' bags.

When he'd gotten about halfway through the school, he thought he heard something... a bang? Someone dropping something?

"Chris?" he called.

Not getting a reply, he made his way into the next classroom. In time to see the closet door closing, soundlessly.

Frowning a little, he began to make his way over.

Spook

"You called?"

Christina walked up the school corridor, looking at the messy paintings and other artworks that hung from the walls.

"What's up?"

Christian

Christian held up his hand as if to silence her, then rested his hand on the doorknob of the closet. In one swift move, he had the door open. A woman shrieked, and a young boy yelled.

Then the boy bolted.

"HEY!" Christian yelled.

"Find your sister!" the woman yelled.

Christian frowned, snapped her neck, then followed the boy out the door.

Spook

Christina whirled and followed Christian.

The boy ran down the halls, breath coming in audible pants as his shoes thumped on the floors.

Christina caught him by the back of the shirt and yanked him up into her arms as he kicked and struggled.

"So, kid, where is your sister?"

"I'm not telling you!"

Christian

Christian had stopped following when he'd seen Christina come after him. He could have so easily grabbed the kid with his telekinesis...

Closing his eyes for a moment, he listened carefully. He heard a car door shutting.

Opening his eyes, he nodded at Christina.

"I'll find her."

He headed towards the car park, picking up pace a little when he heard the engine start.

Spook

"Ok, so I guess that means we don't need you," Christina told the boy.

"Please don't kill me!"

"Oh, hush." Christina efficently snapped his neck, then decided to go through the school again.

She searched very carefully, and couldn't find anyone else.

But she went back through and did it again, anyway. Just in case.

Christian

When Christian spotted the car, it was just about out of the parking area. He sighed, and lifted it from the ground. Making sure the doors couldn't open, he made his way over.

Looking up, he knew the girl was hiding inside. Rolling his eyes, he lowered it so that it was only a couple of centimetres from the ground. Then he wound down the window.

"And just... where did you think you were going?" he raised his eyebrows, leaning against it.

"H-home?"

Christian shook his head.

"Sorry about that."

Spook

Christina trotted out of the school, and grinned when she saw Christian.

"Caught the escapee?" she drawled as she walked over.

"I went through twice. Thoroughly. There's no one in there but the dead."

Christian

Christian nodded.

"Ok."

He turned to the girl, opened the door, and held out his hand as he looked her up and down.

Old enough to drive, heck.

"What say you and I have some... fun before the game's over?" he smiled.

The girl didn't move, but Christian pulled her out and into his arms.

Spook

"No! Oh god, no!" The girl struggled futilely.

Christina rolled her eyes.

"Go play. I'm going to go and look the map over."

She headed off to their car.

Christian

Christian shut the girl up, then took her back to the nearest building and inside.

Holding the door shut with his power, he got it over and done with. When it was over, he lay beside the girl and sighed.

"Please... I'll, I'll do anything if you let me go..." the girl stuttered.

Christian pursed his lips.

"I don't think there's anything I need at the moment. Besides something you can't give me."

The girl hesitated, looking frightened.

"What? And I can try..."

Christian shook his head and snapped her neck.

"Freedom."

He sighed again and stood, then made his way back out to the car.

"So what's happening?"

Spook

Christina looked up.

"This house first. Toddler, single mother. Toddler's a telekintic, woman's a human."

Christian

"And the father's left them to go to work," Christian rolled his eyes.

"Is it in walking distance?"

Spook

"Yeah."

Christina folded the map and papers up, sticking them back in the glovebox of the car.

She got out and locked the car behind her.

"Why don't we do all the ones in walking distance first? That way, we don't leave the car to stand out."

Christian

"Well it's not that big a town," Christian shrugged, "we can just go from house to house. Play the out-of-towners. Usually gets the job done."

He looked around.

"We can start from the outskirts that way," he pointed, "near our new friends' home. That way they won't head for the city, as I said. Anyone who escapes will head this way instead, which leaves them as easy targets in the desert and bush."

Spook

"Much better idea. You done this before?" Christina asked curiously as they started to move.

"Or just a natural?"

Christian

Christian shrugged.

"Haven't really taken on a town before. But with the right planning, anything can be boring."

He began to walk down the street.

"And as I mentioned before, trained."

Spook

"Oh yeah, good little puppy dog, ruff! I'd forgotten."

Christina's eyes gleamed behind her sunglasses as she turned up a pathway to go to the first house.

Christian

Christian clenched his teeth to stop himself making a snide remark. He followed her up to the door, and rang the doorbell.

A woman answered, juggling a toddler on her hips.

"Yes?"

Christian turned to Christina.

"I'm not really in the mood to play around anymore."

He opened the door, saw the startled look on the womans face, before making sure she couldn't scream. He sent her flying backwards, catching the toddler as it fell.

Spook

"The school was fun. But killing people is always good."

Christina looked around him at the crumpled form of the woman.

"She dead? Next house, two preschool girls, mommy and uni student age son. Daddy should be at work, and the boy should be at college."

Christian

"She's not dead yet," Christian frowned.

He quickly broke the toddler's neck, then crushed the woman's lungs.

"Now, however, she is. Next?"

He put the child down carefully, then closed the door.

Spook

"Next."

Christina nodded and walked over to the next house.

She knocked and the door opened.

"Yes?"

"Hi."

Christina punched the woman in the face, sending her reeling backwards. The large trees by the door hid what she was doing from anyone who might drive by.

She snapped the woman's neck efficently with her hands, then went in to find the two little girls.

Christian

Christian debated whether to stay out the front, or follow her in.

Finally, he stepped through and locked the door behind him, then went to watch the back door. He heard a scream and rolled his eyes.

"Wanna work on the noise pollution Chris?!"

Spook

Christina snapped one girl's neck, then the screamer's. She put them in their beds and tucked them in.

She walked out to Christian.

"Done. Next house now."

Christian

Christian shrugged and followed her.

"What have we got here?" he asked, as they stepped up to the door.

Spook

"Male, late forties, works from home. Live in girlfriend, early twenties."

Christina plastered on a smile as he opened the door.

Christian

"Lazy bastard," Christian rolled his eyes.

He unlocked the door with his telekinesis, and held the man back against the wall - locking his jaw so he couldn't cry out.

"I wonder if the girlfriend's home..." he began, stepping in and looking around.

Spook

"That would be a yes..." Christina said as she heard a shower turn on.

"Unless there's someone else here."

Christian

Christian grinned, making his way toward the bathroom and leaving the man for Christina to deal with.

Resting his hand on the doorknob for a moment, he opened the door as he heard the shower door close. Sneaking a look around the corner, he saw the young woman wetting her hair.

Closing the door behind him, he advanced.

Spook

Christina grinned and then used a scarf she carried for other then decorative purposes to garrote him slowly.

Allowing him on occasion to half fill his lungs, before slowly cutting off his airsupply and letting him thrash.

It took over twenty minutes before she got bored and kept the scarf on so he died.

Christian

Christian dried himself off and shook the water out of his hair before getting dressed again.

He left the water in the shower running, to wash away most of the blood, then left the bathroom.

"Have fun?" he asked Christina, before shaking his head again and spraying water everywhere.

Spook

"Oh yeah, muchly fun. And I bet you did too."

Christina looked up and grinned, before wiping her hand clean of sweat on the dead man's shirt.

"Next house is..."

She thought for a moment.

"Elderly couple. She's a hyrbid with telekinesis, and he's a full Sem with light manipulation."

The hunter stood and stuffed her scarf back into one of the many pockets on her pants.

"Shall we proceed?"

Christian

"Of course," Christian shrugged.

They left the house, and made their way next door.

"Maybe you should take one side of the street, and I'll take the other?" Christian raised an eyebrow, stopping at the gate.

Spook

"Yeah."

Christina jogged over to the other side of the street and knocked on the door.

They did a couple of streets that way, and Christina washed her hands and face clean of blood before she left the last house she was in.

She looked at her watch and called over to Christian.

"Hey, I'm gonna stop and grab something to eat, alright?"

Christian

Christian jogged over to her, panting slightly.

"Feeling kinda peckish myself," he scratched his forehead, "have you ever been here before? Know any good places to eat? Of course, we might freak some people out if the recognize us..."

Spook

"You, they're gonna be freaked out by anyway," Christina said, amused.

"Piercing, black hair...very rebellish for a small country town."

She started to twist her hair up into a bun as she talked, and switched her shades for sunglasses with round eye pieces.

"Spook is a persona I put on for a reason. A few twists to how people view me...and I'm no longer Spook. They don't freak."

She dragged a few pieces of hair down by her face, creating an almost windswept look. She stuck hair chopsticks through the bun.

"Hmm...they wouldn't really be expecting Christina Thomas at all. That should work to your advantage."

Christian

Christian rolled his eyes.

He took the sunglasses from his eyes and changed the rims to blue, lightening the tint. Then he put his hand on a nearby wooden post, and created a black cap.

Which he put on his head. He raised his eyebrows.

"Alright then?"

Spook

"Oh, quite, darling," Christina said in a drawl utterly unlike her usual clipped tones.

"Let's go find what this godforsaken town has to offer, hmm?"

Christian

"Sure thing."

Christian pushed some hair behind his ears, and began to follow her away.

"Any jobs stand out in particular?"

Spook

"I made a brother kill his sister," Christina said.

"The look on his face..."

She giggled slightly as they walked to where there was a small milkbar.

Christian

Christian chuckled.

"It's not often you manage to do something like that. Guess he wasn't the 'noble' type."

He opened the door and stepped back, letting Christina through, then following.

Spook

"Guess not, no."

Christina smiled as she sauntered up to the counter. She looked the menu over and ordered some food and paid for it. She'd given Christian the half of any bounty kills they'd made, so she knew he'd have money to pay. She moved away to a table and started to eat.

Christian

Christian got what he wanted, and joined her.

"Ok, so... we've done over half already," he began in a low voice so no one could hear, "I think a couple more hours and we could be out of here."

Spook

Christina nodded.

"Definetly. Anyone give you a serious fight at all?"

Christian

"No one got a chance to," Christian shrugged, drinking his coffee.

"There was one telekinetic, in his forties maybe, who could have given me a run I guess. But you know... one his wife died he kinda lost the will to fight. Almost moving in a way."

Spook

"Awwww..."

Christina grinned.

"How sweet. How touching. People will usually do anything for their families."

Christian

"Well, I don't know. I haven't felt the need to die for anyone yet."

Christian shrugged, and finished the rest of his coffee. He looked out the window, contemplating his next move.

"Too bad today isn't a Friday. Then again it's not so much black as it is red," he chuckled.

Spook

"Yeah, but we're not most people. Most people have the ties that bind..."

Christina ate the last of her lunch and stood.

"Shall we get back to work?"

Christian

Christian pursed his lips, then stood.

"Alrighty."

There was a crack as the workers at the milkbar collapsed, lifeless.

"We're almost through. Only a few streets to go."

Spook

"Yeah."

Christina nodded as they left.

"Ok..."

She looked at her watch.

"We've got enough time to finish this before the daddies start coming home."

Christian

Christian gazed down the street thoughtfully.

"Are we going to wait for them, or just beat it?"

Spook

"I think just beat it," Christina said.

"You can bet they're gonna howl to the YIRAAS about it."

She grinned.

"I just wish I could see the look on the elder's face when he reads about this..."

She split up from Christian and headed over to do the last couple of houses.

Christian

"Yeah, great," Christian rolled his eyes, talking to himself.

"And isn't Tanya going to happy? Just great."

He mentally kicked himself, before going to do his last lot of houses.

Spook

Christina was slowly killing a middle aged woman in her lsat house, when she was interupted by a scream, and then the thud of pounding feet, the slamming of a door and the squealing of tires.

Oh, goddammit.

She whirled on her heel and ran for the door.

"CHRISTIAN!"

Christian

Christian was just coming out of his last house when he heard the scream, and the yell.

"Chris?"

He bolted for the end of the street, in time to almost be hit by the car.

He stumbled backwards and fell over, before his eyes shot to the car and he lifted it from the road.

He groaned a little as he rubbed his face, then stood and brushed himself off.

"You called?"

Spook

"Let's see who interupted my work, shall we?" Christina said.

"Good work on catching the car, Christian."

She walked over to it and was almost hit in the face by a door as a teenage girl tumbled out.

Four teens, two boys, two girls, legged it towards the desert.

"Oh, a hunt. How fun. And yet utterly annoying."

Christian

"You know, I'm starting to get bored," Christian frowned a little, purposely letting them get away.

He could have stopped them if he'd wanted to.

He looked around for a moment, rubbing his chin. He soon spotted an old skateboard leaning against a fence a few houses away. Going to grab it, he set it on the ground in front of him and stepped on.

He looked up.

"Want a ride?" he raised an eyebrow.

Spook

Christina eyed him doubtfully.

"What exactly do you have in mind?" She asked as she stepped closer.

Christian

Christian used his telekinesis to lift the board a couple of metres into the air, managing to keep himself steady.

"Go find another one if you can," he suggested, before beginning to head in the direction the teens had run off.

It was almost like the boards used in Back to the Future.

Spook

Christina shook her head, then found a board lying in the grass.

She got on it and pushed with her foot to set her after Christian.

"Can't believe I'm on a skate board again..."

Christian

Christian looked back, a grin spreading across his face.

He lifted her board suddenly, holding her steady, then sped her over to catch up to him.

"Alright then?" he raised his eyebrows.

Spook

"Yeah, fine."

Christina grinned suddenly.

"This is actually kinda fun. Now let's go have more fun by killing other people."

Christian

Christian rolled his eyes as he guided the two skateboards forward, in pursuit of the teens.

They soon saw them up ahead.

"You know... they know this is desert and... desert. What the hell is the point of running in the first place?" Christian scorned.

He lowered his skateboard a little, and pulled his cap down slightly.

Spook

"They're just running."

Christina shrugged slightly.

"It's a instinctual thing. They were pointed towards the desert, so that's the direction they took off in."

One of the boys stumbled and fell.

Christian

"Well, now isn't that a shame?"

Christian lowered his board as he held the teen to the ground, sending Christina after the others.

He jumped off, then pulled the teen up by the back of his shirt and spun him around.

"And were do you think you're going?"

"Who are you?" the boy stuttered.

Christian smiled.

"Well, the last person you'll ever see."

Then he snapped his neck and got back on his board.

Spook

Christina sighted carefully, and threw a knife at one of the running girls.

It hit her leg and she crumpled.

"Cat!" The other girl turned to try and get her up.

"Go on! Run!"

"How touching. Of course, it doesn't really affect what's gonna happen if they do..."

Christina smiled.

Christian

"You know what could be interesting..." Christian began thoughtfully, catching up to her.

He squinted slightly, as a sort of wall of sand began to form up ahead. Using his telekinesis to move the sand and his atom manipulation to mould it, it began to close in on the teens, soon making a sort of sand igloo.

He chuckled as he lowered the boards to the ground, and jumped off.

"There's not much air in there, so we should probably move it if we want to have fun."

Spook

Christina stepped off the skateboard.

"That's a very neat trick."

She strutted up to the igloo.

"You can keep them pinned, can't you?"

Christian

Christian chuckled.

He broke a little of the sand away, enough to fit one of them through.

"Go on in and have some fun. I'll watch the door."

Spook

Christina ducked through.

Inside the igloo, it was stuffy and dark.

She could hear frightened breathing and a slight whimper she thought was the girl with the knife through the leg.

"So, how's everybody's day been so far? I'm Spook, and the guy outside is Christian Thomas.

"Oh, oh god..."

Christina grinned, and soon screams started coming out the small opening as Christina methodically tortured the guy to death.

Christian

Christian stood back against the sandy wall, picking the dirt out from his nails and chuckling every now and then.

"Don't spend too long in there, you'll never get to sleep tonight!" he called out.

Spook

"What are you, my father?" Christina stuck her head out the door and asked him.

A twist of the knife rewarded her with another scream.

"You want one of them?"

Christiann

Christian shrugged.

"No, no... have your fun," he insisted, "just hearing it is entertaining enough."

Spook

"Peachy keen then, darling."

Christina disappeared again.

Screams, high and piercing, flowed out from the darkness.

Soon she appeared, wiping her hands on her pants.

"Let's go then."

Christian

Christian stood up, before letting the sand structure collapse.

"And where, exactly, are we going to?" he raised his eyebrows, almost worriedly.

He lifted one of the boards into his hands.

Spook

"Car, then...away?" Christina looked at him.

"This place is going to be crawling with agents in a few hours. How does Roswell, New Mexico sound like a destination to you?"

Christian

"Mekiko?" Christian grinned, "now there's at least somewhere I've been."

He dropped the board and made it hover, before getting on.

"Want a ride back? Drop your board."

Spook

Christina dropped the board and got on.

"Nice place. People don't ask many questions."

Christian

Christian smirked as he lifted her up. Then he began to fly the boards back toward the car, slightly slower than the chase so he didn't have to concentrate as much.

When they finally got back tot he car, he threw the board away.

"The town seems so... silent today for some reason."

Spook

Christina snickered.

"Bit dead today, isn't it?"

They got in the car and Christina drove away. They stopped at her house to pick up RK, and then they were driving to Roswell.
