Kate looked at the stick in her hand and gulped. She didn't really know why she was so surprised, with all the sleeping around she did, it was surprising she hadn't gotten pregnant sooner. But who was the father? That was the real question. There were two main possibilities, Zac and maybe Jay. Kate broke into Xavier's office and had a look in some of his files, eventually finding Zac's number in Julie's file. She picked up the phone and dialled in the number.

Zac picked up his ringing phone. He frowned, not recognising the number, and answered it.
"Hello?"

"Hi, Zac? It's Kate. From Mutant High."

"I kinda... I have some news."
Zac
"Oh, okay," Zac replied.
Then something occured to him.
"Say, how did you get this number?"
Kate
"Kinda snooped in a few people's files at Xavier's. It was in Julie's," Kate said sheepishly.
"Now, I don't wanna alarm you... coz there's a possibility that this will have nothing to do with you... but uh... I'm pregnant."
Zac
Zac was silent for a long moment.
"I should be used to hearing that by now," he said. "And I should point out that I have been known to be exceptionally fertile, so chances are I've had everything to do with it, and..."
He sighed.
Kate
"Yeah, you know, it could be Jay. Or Bobby. Or all the other guys I've slept with."
Kate shrugged.
"Sorry, I figured you should know, just in case."
Zac
"Ahh," Zac nodded. "I see. I still reckon the chances are in my favour though, considering my history. So... what's your plan? Keeping the baby? If so, a DNA test?"
Kate
"I haven't really had much of a chance to think about that. I found out this morning."
Kate sighed.
"I think a DNA test would be really pointless, seeing as I've slept around too much for me to really pinpoint the father. I'm not sure if I wanna keep the baby."
Zac
"Well, that's fair enough," Zac replied. "Well, let me know what you decide. Or tell Julie, she's bound to pass on the news."
Kate
"Yeah."
Kate sighed.
"Anyway, I'll let you go, I probably should go tell Jay."
Kate hung up and nervously went around to Jay's room and knocked lightly.
Loki, Jay and Silent Bob
Loki looked up from sharpening his sword.
Jay ignored the door as he rolled a joint.
"Aren't you...gonna get that?" Loki inquired.
"Dude, I don't give a f*ck. You should know that by now, Wings."
Silent Bob shook his head and got up to answer the door. He opened it and arched an eyebrow in query at Kate.
Kate
"Hey, is Jay in? I need to talk to him."
Kate folded her arms across her chest, her breasts being pushed together, creating even more cleavage.

Silent Bob stared, blinked, then moved out of the doorway. He jerked his head at the door, looking at Jay.
Jay got up as Silent Bob sat down on the bed again.
