Rebakah and Bobby
Rebekah Lauren LeVauney looked at Xavier's Institute and took a deep breath. This was all so new, and sudden. She walked into the entrance and bit her lip, nervously. She spotted a guy who looked to be around her age and tapped him on the shoulder.
"Ah, bonjour."
"Hi, I'm Bobby Drake, and you..."
"Rebekah LeVauney, très heureux de vous rencontrer." (Very pleased to meet you.) Rebekah smiled sheepishly. "Ooh, Je suis désolé. Ah... I'm very pleased to meet you."
"Oh, and same to you. Are you a new student here?"
"Oui."
Mary and Vortigern
"Oh, oh!" Mary looked at the book she had been holding as it glowed red, then she threw it away. It exploded. "I'm never going to get the hang of this..."
"You will," Vortigern comforted her, hand on her shoulder. She sighed.
"Well, not anytime soon at any rate..."
"Hey," Vortigern nodded to the new arrival. "Welcome to Mutant High."
Rebekah and Bobby
"Merci," Rebekah smiled. "Ah, I'm Rebekah."
"Hey, sometimes it takes a bit to control your powers, but when you do, it's worth it," Bobby said to Mary, handing her a tiny ice turtle statue.
"Ooh," Rebekah said, impressed.
Mary and Vortigern
"It's pretty," Mary said, holding it in her hands. She looked up at Bobby. "Thank you."
"And if I can just..." Vortigern concentrated slightly and the turtle became faintly tinged with colour as he used his light manipulation. "Vortigern Llewlyn. And this is my little sister, Mary."
Bobby and Rebekah
"Cool, and no problem," Bobby smiled at Mary.
"Ah, oui." Rebekah nodded. "Perhaps, perhaps one could show me to my room?"
"Oh, yeah, sorry, I'll do that." Bobby reached for one of her bags.
"Merci."
"Follow me, and then I'll give you a tour as well."
"Merci. Belle réunion vous... ah, lovely meeting you." Rebekah followed Bobby to her room, where she left her things and Bobby started to show her around.
"And this is the cafeteria..." he opened the door to let her in. "Usually a lot of people in here."
"Ah, I see."
Displaced
The Displaced looked up, table strewn with paper and Jonothon tapping a pencil against his other hand.
"Hey, tovarisch!" Sergei said cheerfully. "And the beautiful lady you have with you..."
"Hey." Angelo smiled.
Jonothon raised an eyebrow.
"And once more, dear friends, our esteemed leader calls our attention to where it belongs," Octavian said.
Too right. Now...
"Ignore Jono, he's stressed," Angelo advised them.
Well, with what's been going on, do you really blame me? Jonothon's eyebrows arched higher. Tav, stop getting detention.
"But it's so much fun to torment Dawn..." Octavian pouted slightly. "And you do have to admit she deserves it...but we're being rude. My name's Octavian. But please do call me Tav."
"Sergei."
"Angelo, or call me Skin. Everyone else does."
Jono.
Julie and Rogue
"Oooh, look," Rogue said looking up. "Bobby's walking in with another woman."
Julie looked.
"Jealous?"
"Funny."
"I thought so."
"Guess she's new... oh look, they're joining your lovers' bands' table."
Rogue raised an eyebrow. Julie grinned broadly.
"We're all groupies here."
Rogue laughed.
"Let's go invite ourselves," Julie said, standing up.
Rogue shrugged and followed her to the table, Julie pushing the pram.
"Hi guys," Rogue said, then went on to Rebekah. "Hey, I'm Rogue and this is Julie."
Bobby and Rebekah
"Bonjour, I'm Rebekah." Rebekah smiled at everyone.
"She's French," Bobby said, stating the obvious.
"Oui, but, also from London. Originally."
"So what's your power?"
"Um... how you say... ah, emotion manipulation. Je peux take emotions to the extreme."
Displaced
"I'm from London, well, mostly." Octavian smiled slightly. "Bonjour mademioselle, et beinvenue a l'ecole de Xavier."
"I'm from South America," Angelo said. "I...stretch."
"Russia," Sergei grinned. "I control nuclear radiation and dings like dat."
London too, h'actually. But I'm just a bit lower class then Tav over there. Telepath and pyschic fire.
Bobby, Faith and Rebekah
Faith strode through the doors to the caf and headed over to the table.
"Hello all," she greeted.
"Bonjour."
"This is Rebekah," Bobby said.
"Hi, I'm Faith."
Julie and Rogue
"I'm a parasite," Rogue winked. "I absorb people's life force when they touch my skin. Except I'm wearing a blocker at the moment. So I can touch people now. Yay, me. I also have a power called atom manipulation - I accidently absorbed someone to death recently."
She shuddered at the memory.
"Well, I'm human," Julie said. "But these two are half alien and have a power called Stealth. Hey, Faith. I'm Julie. Great to finally meet you."
Faith, Bobby and Rebekah
"Hey, yeah, about time, I say," Faith said, smiling at Julie.
"Ah," Rebekah paused.
"How long are you going to be here?" Bobby asked.
"I'm not sure," Rebekah replied.
Octavian and Sergei
"Well, that describes most of us," Angelo said.
"Yeah, we're all staying until the professor kicks us out. Which he won't." Sergei smiled.
"He's a great man. But unfortunately not here at the moment." Octavian frowned.
Julie and Rogue
"I wonder what happened to him?" Rogue frowned. "Oh, but anyway, it's nice to meet you Rebekah."
Julie grinned back at Faith.
Faith and Bobby
Faith shook her head, still grinning.
Bobby cleared his throat. "Well, yes."
"Merci."
"So, Julie, did you end up doing who you said you were going to do after we spoke?" Faith asked.
Julie and Rogue
"Yes, yes I did," Julie replied with a wink at Bobby. "And it was good. And I could do him again."
Julie paused and gazed at all the menfolk at the table.
"Heck, I could do most of the men around here. And yes, that is an offer."
Rogue groaned.
"Julie? You are such a slut."
"Yeah, I know."
Displaced
Sergei chuckled slightly. "Well...you know where to find me, kratkoya."
So... Jonothon's eyes gleamed slightly with amusement. Want to be our next groupie? I know Rogue's one already...
"We have groupies?" Angelo asked with interest.
"Apparently so," Octavian sighed melodramtically, smiling. "The upside of actually being in a band..."
"Not that we've managed to get a gig anywhere as yet. But we've only been practicing for the best part of a month." Angelo sipped his drink.
Faith and Rebekah
Faith flipped a card out of her wallet and tossed it to Angelo. "There, if you're ever in Tulsa, it's a club my friend owns, and we're always looking for bands to play."
Rebekah looked over with interest. "Vous avez besoin de chanteurs?" (Do you need singers?) She paused. "Désolé. Ah... does this club, need singers?"
Faith nodded. "Anything... but it's in Tulsa, that's the only thing."
"Tulsa?" Bek looked confused.
"It's a fair way from here."
"Oh."
Julie and Rogue
"I remember Tulsa... I used to live there," Julie mused, sitting down on Sergei's lap.
She kissed Sergei's cheek.
"And you can take that as a 'yes, I'll be a groupie'. So long as you make it worth my while, if you know what I mean."
She winked. Rogue shook her head.
"Y'know. I believe I was drunk when I asked to be a groupie. Not that I'm complaining, mind you, considering I can actually touch you now," she paused and then continued, "Do you sing then, Rebekah?"
Displaced
"I'm happy to make it worth your while, kratkoya," Sergei said, dipping his head to kiss her neck.
And whose fault was it that she was drunk? Jonothon looked at Sergei.
The Russian grinned. "Hey, I didn't forrrce her to drrrink all da vodkai."
"Thanks for the tip," Angelo said, nodding at Faith. "If we ever actually make it out of New York..."
"And it was your fault, Jono. You were being depressing."
Tosser.
"Vell, actually, dat would be you, tovarisch."
Oh, ha bloody ha.
Faith, Rebekah and Bobby
Faith perched herself down on Bobby's lap. "No worries."
Rebekah smiled and nodded. "Oui. J'aime singing. I do it as often as I can."
Julie and Rogue
Julie adjusted her neck to give Sergei the best advantage, while one of her hands massaged his leg.
"I'd like to hear you sometime," Rogue said. "And Sergei is right, Jono, he didn't force me. Certainly didn't help matters, but he didn't force me."
"Do him," Julie advised Faith. "He's good with the tongue. Mmm... and Sergei's good with the lips..."
Faith, Rebekah and Bobby
"Merci. An' per'aps you will." Rebekah looked down shyly. "I am not very... not very good, though."
Faith raised an eyebrow at Bobby. "And you have a piercing. Hmmm, intriguing."
Bobby coughed. "Right. Well, we should organise something for tonight. Been way too long since we partied here."
Displaced
Octavian arched an eyebrow. "Indeed."
"Tank you, Julie." Sergei grinned before sliding his hand around to lay on the top of her thigh. "I've been told I'm good with my hands, too..."
You lot can go out...
"Oh, c'mon, Jono!" Angelo complained.
You lot don't have to try and write out what you have to say everytime you go out somewhere. Jonothon tapped the bandages meaningfully. And ya don't 'ave to cope with the looks...
"Humans," Angelo said in disgust.
"So vhat? Dey stare, dey whisper. We get da hell over it." Sergei shrugged.
Julie and Rogue
"As resident human," Julie said, "I would like to say... mutants and aliens are much cooler and that's why I prefer to sleep with them. In fact I can't wait to find how just how good you are with your hands, Sergei."
And her silly grin broadened as something else popped into her head.
"And as a member of an obviously inferior species, why, it should only be the honour above humours to be used as your sex slave," she grinned.
"Julie, you have issues," Rogue informed her.
"So you keep saying, but really, I don't see it."
Bobby, Faith and Rebekah
"We could party here, no one could stop us." Bobby shrugged.
"Yeah, mutants are pretty good," Faith said, winking at Octavian from across the table.
"And I happen to like Julie's issues," Bobby grinned. He cleared his throat. "Anyway... shall we party here? And shall we hear The Displaced play? And Rebekah sing?"
Rebekah blushed. "Maybe."
Displaced
Octavian grinned back at Faith. "Obviously superior..."
That would be good, I think. Jonothon laughed.
"Get Jono out of brooding for one night. Dat's a good ding." Sergei rubbed his thumbs over the skin under Julie's top near her hips. "He thinks too much."
And you think too little. Jonothon shot back.
"Me? I'm just a crrrazy Russian. Vhat I need to think for?" Sergei grinned.
"Are we ready to play?" Angelo asked.
"Vhy da hell not?"
Julie and Rogue
"Good," Rogue smiled. "I'm looking forward to hearing you!"
"Crazy is good," Julie grinned.
She wrapped an arm around Sergei's neck and gave him a good long kiss. Rogue then caught Angelo looking at her.
"Oh no," Rogue said firmly. "I'm Jono's groupie first. He was the one I asked."
Faith, Rebekah and Bobby
"Hmm, can I be Octavian's groupie?" Faith grinned over at Octavian.
Bobby shook his head. "We all have issues."
Rebekah found a seat and sat down daintily. "Oui, vous tout avez des issues." (Yes, you all have issues.)
Displaced
"Of course you can, Faith," Octavian said, grinning.
Angelo sighed.
"Don't worry, Skin. I'm sure we can find you a groupie. Want to volounteer, Rebekah?"
Thanks, Rogue. Jonothon said. Glad to know that you still care.
Sergei kissed Julie, hands almost but not quite cupping her breasts.
Julie and Rogue
Julie shivered in delight and kissed Sergei harder. The hand that had been on his knew moved further up his leg, and inward, but not quite touching his crotch.
"Of course I still care," Rogue smiled. "I haven't forgotten what it's like not to be able to touch people even though I can now."
Rebekah, Faith and Bobby
Faith got up and went to perch herself on Octavian's lap, rubbing herself quite suggestively against him. "So, we gonna party?"
"Yeah, vodka?" Bobby asked, looking at Sergei, then realising he was a little busy. "I'll ask again later."
"We probably still have some from last night," Faith mused.
"Groupie?" Rebekah said. "Per'aps not until I know you. Désolé."
Displaced
"That's cool," Angelo said, smiling.
Sergei made a noise of approval into Julie's mouth as he drew abstratc patterns over the soft skin of her stomach with his hands. When she touched the tongue stud to one of his fangs, he moaned. Very sensitive just there.
"I did think we did it all..." Octavian thought. "If not, we can always annoy Jay and Silent Bob. When that little stoner doesn't have anything, you know there's something wrong."
So, let's party, people. Jonothon's eyes gleamed with amusement. But please, band members? Don't get too drunk a=until after we finish playing.
Rogue and Julie
Julie pressed her chest into his.
"Rec room?" Rogue suggested.
Before anyone really had a chance to answer, Tom started crying. At first Julie didn't notice, and when she did, she reluctantly pulled away from Sergei and stood up.
"What wrong, Tommy boy?" she asked Tom wearily, picking him up. "You have - oh dang..."
She sighed.
"I'd better go tend to these two. If I can find someone willing to baby-sit, I'll meet you guys at the party. Oh, and Sergei? I'd still like to find out just how good your are with your hands... and other things."
And Julie departed with a coy smile.
Faith, Rebekah and Oz
"I like her, she reminds me of me," Faith grinned, standing up. "Rec room!"
Rebekah waited for the others to go so she could follow them, just as Oz and Devon walked in.
"Thought I heard something about a party," Devon grinned.
"Devvie!" Faith went and launched herself in his arms.
"Hi, I'm Oz, that's Devon," Oz said to Rebekah.
"Bonjour, I am Rebekah."
"French? Cool! Monkey's are French," Oz said.
Rebekah giggled.
Displaced
"Sergei, vodka," Octavian said.
"Vhat? I'm going, I'm going..." Sergei shook his head as he went to the kitchens. "Nag, nag, nag..."
"But we love you, Sergei!" Octavian shouted after him. "C'mon, let's go get the rec room set up."
The other members of The Displaced left to set up generally.
