Tegan and Nessa

Mordred

Hank sat at his computer and stared at the results. Of course...how could he not have seen this earlier? He got up to tell Mordred and Gwen.

Mordred was laying on the bed with Gwen, idly playing with her hair as music played.

There was a knock at the door, and he raised his head.

"Come in."

Hank entered, looking slightly bashful. He didn't come out of the labs often. "I finished those tests on Gwen's blood..."

"And...?" Mordred raised an eyebrow slightly.

"I think I can cure the disease the doctors infected her with," Hank said simply.

Gwen

Gwen sucked a deep breath.

That solved one problem.

"I... what... what was wrong... what is wrong with me? Gwen said.

Mordred

"It was a degenrative disease...similair to Parkinson's but focused on mutants and their powers. It also seemed to be attached to some form of mestatic cancer...but after I solve the first problem, the other thing will go away of itself. It relies on the degenerative disease to actually function," Hank said quietly.

"F*CK! Those, sick, *sick* sons of bitches," Mordred cursed.

Gwen

Gwen nodded slowly and took Mordred's hand in hers and kissed it softly.

"But... but it'll be ok, right? I mean, after it's gone, I'm gonna be ok... apart from..." she looked at her legs in disgust.

Mordred

"Yes, yes you should be. It'll be easier to contain your powers again, and I think the disease was holding back your progress." Hank fiddled with his glasses.

"Held back how?" Mordred asked.

"Well, I remember when you...left, the first time..." Hank coughed slightly. "Mordred showed your wounds. But I believe you healed? I think the disease was holding back your innate capabilites to heal major damages."

Gwen

Gwen felt like her heart had stopped beating. She had to remind herself to breathe.

"So... there's a chance that... that this... this can all be alright again?" Gwen asked, not letting herself get her hopes up. Not to be ruined. No way.

Mordred

Mordred stared at Hank.

"A slight chance..." Hank hedged.

Gwen

Gwen's eyebrows knitted together as she struggled to understand the situation.

"Oh God... so... because of... it's a reason... that... sometimes life really does suck."

Mordred

"Ah, I'll go now...the medicine I was making should be nearly done. If you can come down to the labs later?" Hank was already backing out the door.

"Yeah, sure thing, mate," Mordred said in distraction. "Oh god, Gwen...what if this was the reason Lorne couldn't read you?"

Gwen

"It probably was."

Gwen reached out and caressed his face gently.

"But it'll be alright... once it's all fixed..."

Mordred

"Yeah, yeah..." Mordred kissed her. "Oh god, Gwen...we should...I don't know...do something for the doctor. I don't think he gets thanked very much, and he works his ass off. I think that's the first time I've actualy seen him come out of the labs...except for that tie when he came and knocked a wall in a building. And that was a mission."

Gwen

"Yes, we should... he's..."

Gwen sighed and then grinned, her eyes twinkling mischieviously.

"I could be his sex slave. Or you could."

Mordred

Mordred made a face.

"First off, not what I was thinking of. Second, you are truly disturbed for even thinking of it. Third, I don't share." He kissed her jaw and nibbled kisses up to her mouth. "Very bad at it. Ask my family. And fourth, not gay."

Gwen

"Well... I learned how to be disturbing from you."

Gwen smiled charmingly at him, then kissed him deeply, moving slightly so her upper body was on his.

"Well then... if you don't share..."

She let her hand drift down to between his thighs and put her hand down his pants.

Mordred

"Gwen..." Mordred panted in her ear. "You were plenty disturbing all by yourself, I'm sure. But we all love you for it."

Gwen

"Me?"

Gwen smiled.

"Never."

She slowly started stroking him.

Mordred

"Ohhhhhh goddddd..." Mordred hissed. They hadn't done anything for ages, so it seemed. "Gwen..."

Gwen

Gwen smiled.

"I like having this effect on you."

She moved slightly so she was able to do what she wanted, pulled his pants down and took him into her mouth.

Mordred

"Oh, oh god..." Mordred's eyes rolled up in his head. She shouldn't, but she was, and bloody hell, it felt soooooo good.

Gwen

Gwen smiled and hummed slightly, using her hands for extra pleasure.

She created a spark in her mouth and gave him small electric shocks as she swirled her tongue around.

Mordred

Mordred cried out hoarsely as he came, trying not to move his hips too much. "I...Gwen...you know, you really shouldn'tve done that." He lay back on the bedspread, unable to move for a bit. "But it was amazing anyway..."

Gwen

Gwen swallowed, then moved so she was up at his face level.

"I know... but I wanted to."

She kissed him.

"And I should hope it's amazing."

Mordred

"Every moment with you is amazing," Mordred whispered, cupping her face with his hand. "Every moment of every day..."

Gwen

"Yeah well it doesn't always feel like it. It just gets better when I'm with you."

Gwen kissed him, a tear escaping and falling onto his lip.

Mordred

"Don't cry, love." Mordred's tongue darted out to taste the salt of her tear, tongue stud gleaming. "I love you. Always will."

Gwen

"And I'll always love you."

Gwen smiled through her tears.

"So... tell me honestly, do you think that there's a chance of walking after awhile?"

Mordred

"I've seen stranger things," Mordred said quietly.

"Vampires. Dragons. Weird things...I think maybe. Just maybe..."

Gwen

"I don't wanna... I don't wanna get excited, in case... you know."

Gwen hand went to her back, feeling the stitches gingerly.

"But it would be nice."

Mordred

"Would be nice..." Mordred sighed. "Rest until Dr McCoy calls?"

Gwen

Gwen and Mordred rested together, until they were called down to the medlabs where Gwen was injected with the cure to her disease. She crossed her fingers and hoped it worked.

It just had too...
