Orlando and Ophelia

Orlando loved Julliard. HIs roommate was great, though a bit effeminate. Hr loved his dance classes, though music was his passion. His first encounters with his teachers were. . . interesting. They couldn't get over the fact that he could play nearly every instrument known to man. . and a few that weren't. Also that he was self-taught for the most part. His voice teacher was easily hypnotized. Everything was going great, except for one thing-- he missed his sisters terribly. Not Rosalind so much, she'd always been a bit of a loner. But Ophelia. They had been inseparable since they were babies. they were a year apart, but they acted like twins. He wandered through the halls, hearing everyone in their practice rooms, playing beautifly, his flute case in hand. Then he heard a familiar voice.

"There's no sign on the gate
And there's mud on your face
Don't you think it's time we re-investigate this situation
Put some fruit on your plate

You forgotten how it started
Close you eyes
Think of all the bubbles of love we made
And you're down on your knees
It's too late
Oh don't come crawlin'
And you lie by my feet
What a big mistake
I see you fallin'

Got a buzz in my head
And my flowers are dead
Can't figure out a way to rectify this situation
Don't believe what you said

You forgotten how it started
Close you eyes
Think of all the bubbles of love we made
And you're down on your knees
It's too late
Oh don't come crawlin'
And you lie by my feet
What a big mistake
I see you fallin'

I could sting like a bee
Careful how you treat me
Baby I don't think I'll except your sorry invitation
Close the door as you leave

You forgotten how it started
Close you eyes
Think of all the bubbles of love we made
And you're down on your knees
It's too late
Oh don't come crawlin'
And you lie by my feet
What a big mistake
I see you fallin'
And you cry over me
I can't wait
I feel you stallin'
And you try to reach me
What a big mistake
I hear you callin
And you're down on your knees
It's too late
Oh don't come crawlin'
And you lie by my feet
What a big mistake
I see you fallin' "

Although it was bad ettiquette to enter a practice room uninvited, he went inside.

"Feelie!" he cried, throwing his arms around his sister. "What are you doing here?"

"I decided to accept the scholarship. It was just rotten staying at the mansion without you."

"I know, I've been missing you a lot! How's Rozzie?"

"Very good. She has a new prospective girlfriend, and you'd never in a million years imagine who." Orlando concentrated on his sister'sthoughts, and his eyes widened,

"No way. Are you kidding me?"

"Nope. Turns out she's a big ole lesbian." Orli laughed.

"Well, if that isn't ironic, I don't know what is. Now, my sweet baby sister, let's jam."

"You got it!" Ophelia sat at the keyboard and just started composing as her spirit led her. Orlndo put together his flute, and joined in. Feelie hummed in harmony, and they just played together for the next hour or so.

"Damn," Orli said. "We shoulda recorded that one."

"Got it covered, bro," Ophelia said, picking up the tape recorder. "Now let's get something to eat. I don't know anybody yet, wanna introduce me to some of your friends?"

"Sure," he said, packing up his flute. "Let's go up to my room quick." She followed him over to his dorm, where he put away his flute and grabbed his wallet. His roommate Tom, also known as 'Princess' was hainging out on his bed,

"Hey Tom, meet my sister, Ophelia."

"Nice to meet you, Ophelia," Tom said shaking her hand.

"Call me Feelie, everybody does."

"And you can call me Princess, everybody does," he said, winking. Feelie laughed.

"I'll do that."

"So, Tom," Orli said, "We were heading out to grab a bite to eat, want to join us?"

"I was going out with Steve and some friends, why don't we all go together?"

"Sounds great, okay with you, Feel?" Orli asked his sister.

"Sounds good to me. Mind if I use your washroom first?"

"Nope, go ahead." Ophelia darted into the small bathroom and filled the sink up with water. SHe grabbed a container of sea salt from her purse and poured some into the basin. grabbing a washcloth, she wetted down her legs, arms, and face.

"Okay, I'm ready," she said, coming out of the washroom.

"Now I need to go," Orli said, laughing, and he quietly did the same as his sister. When he came out of the bathroom, they met up with the group, and Orlando introduced hissister to everyone, who wanted to know what she came in the middle of the term.

"Well," Ophelia said, "they offered me the scholarship, and I wasn't going to come until next semester, but I got so lonely without my big brother around, I felt I HAD to come." Everyone was surprised to find that Ophelia and Orlando were only 15 and 16.

"We were homeschooled," Orli explained.

"We were 'school'ed all right," Feelie said under her breath, and they both burts out laughing.

"So, where shall we eat?" Tom asked.

"I'm in the mood for seafood," Orlando suggested.

"You're always in the mood for seafood, Orli," a girl named Sandra commented. "I'm beginning to think you ARE a fish."

"I wouldn't mind seafood myself," Feelie said, trying to change the subject. The two canterburys coninced everyone to go to a seafood restaurant, and they all had a great time together.
