Paige and Faith
Paige orbed Faith into Zac's room at the mansion, then left quickly. Faith awkwardly watched Zac from behind, then made her presence known.
"Uh, hey Zac."
Zac
Zac looked up with wet hair and nothing but a towel around him. He had just come out of the shower.
"Faithy?" he asked in astonishment.
Faith
Faith bit her lip. He had to be almost naked, didn't he? If she just... no. Bad.
"Yeah, um... do you want me to leave so you can get changed?"
She paused with a wry smile.
"Not that I haven't seen that before."
Zac
"You don't have to go," Zac said assuredly. "Like you said, not like you haven't seen me like this before."
Nonetheless, he did still put on hand on the towel. This was not exactly the best scenario for someone trying to break his habit of cheating.
"So, what brings you here?"
Faith
Faith bit her lip again, hard. This was too difficult, but if she didn't go through with it, she'd never be able to move on.
"Well... you actually."
She closed her eyes for a second. The water running over his chest was kinda flattering, reminded her of the spa... no. Bad.
"I think... oh this is hard." She sighed. "I mean difficult... difficult to say, but I think... if I don't say it, I'm going to do something that I shouldn't."
Zac
"Umm, okay..." Zac replied uncertainly.
He gulped nervously. He had a bad feeling about this.
Faith
Faith fidgeted nervously.
"I have to ask you to stop seeing me."
Zac
Zac stared.
"Wha-what?" he stammered.
He knew it was gonna be bad. He so knew it was gonna be bad. He - wait...
"You came to see me to ask me not to see you?"
Faith
Faith nodded and gave a half smile.
"It's ironic, isn't it?"
She took a step closer to Zac.
"I'm sorry, but this is..."
She felt her tears running down her cheeks.
"If I don't do this, then I'm always going to be tempted, you know? And that's really not fair on anyone."
Zac
"Faithy I... can't we... I don't... isn't there some way we can work this out?" Zac asked, trying to hide how upset he was and failing.
Faith
Faith closed her eyes and she ran a hand lightly over Zac's cheek.
"Zac, I've tried, honestly, and I thought we could do this, but I don't..."
Her bottom lip quivered.
"Can you honestly tell me that you're not tempted? Because if you can look me in the eye and tell me, then this doesn't have to happen."
Zac
"I... I..."
There was nothing more Zac wanted to do than tell her just how much he loved her and wanted to hold her and how the very suggestion of her not being in his life anymore was killing him.
"How can I not be tempted with you? You're... you're the best lover I ever had."
Oh yeah, that'll change her mind.
Faith
Faith felt her heart breaking. He didn't love her.
She tried to smile but failed, terribly.
"This is why we can't see each other."
She kissed Zac's cheek gently.
"And we have to stick to this... no phone calls, no chatting online, no... no more guest starring in dreams."
Zac
Zac gulped.
"Please, Faithy," he said, putting his hand to her cheek. "Please don't leave me."
Before he knew what he was doing, his lips met hers.
Faith
Faith wrapped her arms around Zac's neck, wanting this kiss to last a lifetime.
"I have to," she said in between kisses. She reached down and slowly rested her hands on Zac's towel, fiddling with it.
Zac
Zac wrapped his arms around Faith, holding her as if for dear life.
"Don't go..." he begged quietly.
He loved the way she felt in his arms. Why was she doing this? Damn it, why?
Faith
"Zac," Faith sighed, leaning in and kissing him again.
It felt so right, and that's what hurt the most. The way she ached to be in his arms when he wasn't around, and now this was her last chance, and it was their last time...
"I have to, it's not fair on anyone if I don't..."
Zac
"It's not fair on us if you do," Zac replied.
Then, unable to control himself any longer (not that he was doing a particularily good job to start with), in his kissing spree he pinned Faith up against the wall. Once hand intwined its fingers through her hair and the other went... exploring.
Faith
Faith moaned softly.
"Zac," she began again, feeling her resolve crumble. "I..."
She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him passionately, then reached down and let his towel fall. She grasped him in her hand and stroked him gently.
"I love you," she whispered, so quietly she was hoping Zac wouldn't even hear her.
Zac
Zac groaned, his kissing becoming more intense. He started pulling off her shirt.
Maybe... maybe if they... maybe then she wouldn't leave...
Faith
Faith lifted her arms so her shirt could be taken off easily, then kissed her way down Zac's chest, then back up to his lips.
She reached down and helped him get her leather pants off.
Zac
Once her pants were off, Zac started on Faith's underwear.
He loved the feel of her skin beneath his hands. Her smell. Her hair. Everything, just everything.
His lips (and tongue) barely left her body.
Faith
Faith ran her hands over Zac's body, then she leant in and kissed his neck gently.
"Zac..." she moaned. "Oh God... love you..."
Zac
Those were words Zac didn't think he'd hear from her again.
"I love... you too," he replied between kisses.
And then Zac and Faith proceeded to make love as if they would never have sex with each other. Which, Zac feared if Faith got her way, would be the case.
Faith
After doing it against the wall, Faith kissed Zac and guided him to the bed, where they proceeded to go another round. Come on, it's Zac and Faith, once is NEVER enough. You should know that by now.
Zac
They went a few more rounds.
Okay, a lot more rounds.
Eventually they were both exhausted, drenched head to toe in sweat and other bodily fluids, panting and resting in each others arms. Zac was gently kissing Faith's cheek.
Faith
Faith turned her head to kiss Zac, lazily content. She entwined her fingers with his.
"I love you," she breathed. "So much..."
Zac
Zac gave a contented sigh.
"I love you too."
Faith
Faith sat up reluctantly, pausing to kiss Zac's forehead gently.
"I wish I could stay," she said softly.
Zac
Zac sat up as well, resting his hands on her hips.
"Please don't go."
Faith
"Zac, please," Faith pleaded. "Please, don't make this harder than it already is."
She reached out and ran a hand down Zac's face.
Zac
Zac pressed his face into her hand and kissed her palm.
"Maybe if I keep trying to make it harder, you won't leave," he said.
Faith
Faith pulled her hand away and started to get dressed.
"Zac, please, don't do this... I can't..." she sighed and walked back over to kiss him one last time. "I love you, and I always will. Don't forget that."
She closed her eyes. "Paige."
Paige orbed in and took her hand, orbing out quickly.
Zac
Zac fell back on the bed and softly cried for a few minutes.
Eventually, reluctantly, he evaporated the sweat off his person and got dressed.
She was gone. The love of his life was no longer a part of his life.
It wasn't until he was stepping out the door that he realised something else.
He had cheated on Rachel.
