Ashley knew the guys were working on the album any chance they got (or whenever Zac wasn't out with one of his however-many-girlfriends he had now, but he also knew it was about time they got into some serious production.
Picking up the phone, he hesitated. Maybe he should ring Mindy? She'd been staying at her mother's for the past week and hadn't talked to him since the revelation.
He frowned. He didn't want to force her into anything. If she wanted to avoid him until she sorted things out, he wouldn't stop her.
With a sigh, he rang the Hansons instead. Someone he'd talked to in the past couple of days had mentioned that since the guys hadn't been touring for a couple of years that they should have some sort of practise run before the album's release... if the labum ever got done. Admittedly, Ashley knew it was mainly Zac's fault.
He tapped his pen on the desk, waiting for an answer.
Zac
Zac was on his way to his computer to speak to his online friends when the phone rang. He picked it up.
"Hello?" he asked.
Ash G
Ashley rolled his eyes when he realized who was on the other end of the line.
"Ah... hey Zac. I need to talk business, so if you're busy with a girlfriend, put me onto Ike or Tay, ok? It has to do with touring and the like."
He knew it was mean, but he crossed his fingers.
Zac/Isaac
"Hmph, well, I know when I'm loved. I think I'll go find Cailtin and sob in her arms and complain about how immature people think I am," then Zac laughed. "No, only kidding. Just a second..."
He turned and faced down the hallway.
"Yo! Ike! Front and centre!"
"What?"
"Phone!"
"'kay."
Isaac apppeared.
"Who is it?"
"Ash."
"Right," and he took the phone off Zac. "Hey Ash."
Ash G
"Hey Ike, what's up man?" Ash grinned, "I hope for your sake you've been coming up with ideas for the tournament."
Isaac
"Yeah sure. I reckon a supermodel in next to nothing would be entertaining."
Ash G
"You do realize that the person who'd be doing the shape shifting is male... is there something you're not telling me?" Ashley grinned.
"But seriously, we have to think about the upcoming album release and tour. That is... if this album is ever going to BE released," he joked.
Isaac
"Yes I do realised that. And there's something I'm not telling you. But it's not what you're impiling. So there," Isaac laughed. "I'm thinking the release date should be... May 12th."
Ash G
"Planning on making three years and three days a habit?" Ashley laughed.
"But anyway... I was talking to one of the members of the production crew, and they were thinking about the tour. We know you guys haven't toured since God knows when, so what about doing a bit of a practise- run? You know, just invite friends, family, maybe a few Hanson Netters to come along? Just sort of like a mini concert sometime in Feb or March."
Isaac
"Say, that's a great idea. And speaking on Hanson net, have you checked out mark 2? I think it looks cool myself," Isaac replied enthusiastically.
Ash G
"Yeah I saw the plans they had for it, it looks like it's going to be awesome," Ashley grinned, "and combining the two sites into one was a good idea, the fans would probably like it better. When are you going to get it online?"
Isaac
"Mid to late February, it should be up by," Isaac answered. "It's all good."
Ash G
"So you mean by the end of the year?" Ash teased with a grin, "so you're for this idea of the concert? It's just basically to get you back on your feet again after so long with one."
Isaac
"Yeah, no that sounds great! I'll have to run it by Tay and Zac of course, but they'll probably love it too."
Ash G
"So, once again a little bird told me you had a date the other night..." Ashley began teasingly, "tell Ashie how it went."
He grinned, knowing Ike probably didn't want to talk about it.
Isaac
"Tell Ashie how it went," Isaac mocked. "Umm, no. I think not baby puppy."
Ash G
"Ah, you know I'll find out sooner or later anyway," Ashley raised his eyebrows, "but anyway, I gotta go. Need food. By the way, you haven't heard from Mindy have you? I mean... since the 22nd?"
Isaac
"No, I haven't," he admitted. "I did send her Miette's contact details though, but I don't know if she got them."
Ash G
"Well, thanks anyway man... I guess I'll catch you later then. We need to 'discuss' the tournament," he rolled his eyes.
Isaac
"Discuss the tournament indeed," Isaac agreed. "Bye man."
Ash G
"We need to!" Ashley exclaimed, before he heard the engaged signal.
Shaking his head, he hung the phone up, glancing at a photo of he and Mindy he kept by the phone. He began to reach for the phone again, but snatched his hand back having second thoughts.
"Damn it all," he fumed, leaving the room.
