You sit up and reach for the bed light. There, standing in the dark, is Zac.
"Umm, hi," he says.
"Hi," you reply. "What are you doing in here?"
He shrugs as if unwilling to answer.
"You should probably go back to your own room before someone realises you're in here," you advise. "They might get the wrong idea."
Zac sits on the bed next to you.
"Would that be so bad?" he asks, his voice low and husky.
Hmm, what can you say to that? Do you say yes and kick him out or do you take a risk and say no and find out where such an answer will take you this time of night?
