"Ok, now I'm scared." Zac said.
A figure had jumped out in front of them. It was none other than Justin Timberlake.
"There is no need to thank me, but I will rescue you all from the depths of this murky cave." He declared.
"Oh gee, Justin we'd -" Taylor began.
"Yes, yes, I know. You don't know how to act in the presence of magnificence - hey, aren't you guys… well hey there Ike, Tay and Zac. Who are your friends?" he sidled up to Rogue. "I especially want to know about this sexy thing."
"Well, those are Rogue and Archangel from the X-men, and those are, umm… aliens from outer space named Gib, Tuj, Kob and Bessinbetta." Isaac answered.
"Yes, well, we'd love to stay and chat Justin, but we have to find Ezara and kill the Essence." Zac cut in.
"Kill evil Essence!" The aliens reinforced enthusiastically.
"It killed my mother, my fathers, my sisters, my brothers, my cousins and my pet rabbit." Kob said. "Bad Essence! Bad! Bad! Evil!"
"Ahh, yes! Rescuing damsels in distress and defeating evil villians is my specialty." Justin proclaimed. "Well, actually messing around with electricity is my specialty. But that's beside the point."
"So that's why his hair looks so weird." Isaac muttered to Taylor, who stifled a laugh.
"So lets go find a friend and fight a fiend." Justin said. "With one zap from my finger I will find the exact location of what's-her-name. By any chance guys, is she breathtakingly gorgeous?"
Without waiting for an answer, Justin stretched his hand towards the, uhh, roof of the cave. His afro seemed to cackle with electricity. Sparks flew. A stream of lighting pulsed from his index finger.
Then Justin seemed to lose control. He started whirling around wildly, and everyone had to dodge the electricity that still came from his finger. Then… the beam hit the sleeping dragon…
The bad news is that the dragon woke up. The good news is that he didn't see Hanson, the X-men or the aliens. The other bad news is that he did see Justin. Not that anyone could miss him.
The dragon breathed fire towards his assailant. The fire immediately started burning Justin's hair. Taylor concentrated, and froze his hair, so that the fire was forced to go out.
Sadly, it was way too late to save Justin's hair. And in fact, it seemed Justin was pretty out too.
"My, my, my hair…" he whimpered, collapsing to the floor. "My, my, my power's gone. I, I, I feel weak."
"Can anyone do anything?" Zac asked.
Before anyone had a chance to reply, an indistinguishable figure appeared and strode towards the dying Justin. And before anyone could stop it, the figure bent over him, and Justin faded into nothing.
"Essence! Essence!" the aliens shrieked.
They then started running around the cavern in a mad panic.
The figure looked over at them, and lifted the hood of it's cloak.
"Angel?" Zac asked. "Y-you're the Essence?"
Angel looked at them and smirked.
"Rock stars make such good eating." She replied.
And on that, she disappeared.
