Chapter 20

Kristin watched the Smurfs as they searched the ahh, countryside, in her Crystal Ball. The problem is, with the Smurfs being so small, it took them much longer to cover a distance a human might cover in only a few seconds.

Finally, after a couple of hours of watching, the Smurfs had found the Vampire Valley. Kristin gave those of the team who would be battling the vampires Crystal necklaces so they could teleport back. Then she went back to watching the Crystal Ball, and commentating to those who stayed as to what was going on.

"Excuse me? Does anyone have some honey I could borrow?" a voice asked.

The party of people, which consisted of the Hansons, Janet, some cats and all the superheros turned and looked.

"My honey pot is empty." The voice added.

Then the person came into view. Or rather, the ahh, stuffed bear? It was, of course, Winnie the Pooh. Naturally everyone glanced at Janet.

"Hey, I never summoned him." She said. "Sorry Pooh. We don't have any honey."

"Oh." Pooh sounded rather disappointed. "You see the bees have left their trees. And I don't know where to find them. Maybe Rabbit knows. Do you know where I can find Rabbit?"

"No, sorry dude."

"Oh."

Pooh wandered from sight and they continued on their way. Suddenly they heard a yelp. And buzzing.

"What the -"

Pooh came running towards them, followed by a raging swarm of evil killer bees!

"The Essence's doing." Zac growled. "Here, let me handle this."

Zac reached out his arm and focused on the bees. He folded his fingers into a fist, lifted his hand slightly, then dropped it, opening his hand.

"Buzz-bye?" he joked as the bees fell dead to the ground.

The bees weren't the only thing that fell.

"Oh, poor Pooh Bear." Said Rogue. "Killed by evil killer bees."

"He won't be dead for long, if we can stop the Essence." Janet said.

And so their journey continued, until...

"They're there." Kristin said to the others, looking up briefly from the Crystal Ball. "They're there."
